I double-check that all doors and gates are locked and that security systems are reset upon my departure. ​The Walk Experience: Safety is my priority on 'walkies.' I use sturdy leashes, avoid high-traffic or 'unpredictable' areas, and keep a close eye on the pavement temperature and weather conditions. ​Puppy/Senior Care: For clients at your home, I customize the visit. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life starting with a family pet grooming business. Beyond that I’ve cared for family and friends dogs as needed. My two most common pups I take care of are a golden doodle and cattle dog mix. I work from home full time, which means I can do early morning (done by 8:30 am), lunch time (approx 11-1) and evening visits (after 5:30 pm). On weekends I’m available more time slots. If you’re unsure if I can fit your needs just ask! I have experience doing feeding, potty breaks on a leash, as well as in fenced in yards. The more detail/instructions you provide on care needed the better I can provide that. I am and will continue to be respectful of your dog and your property. About: I have been researching animals and animal care since I was able to read, I was always at the library as a kid! I worked as a dog trainer at PetSmart for two years (worked with the company for three years total!) and have met and worked with a variety of breeds. I volunteered at a dog shelter all throughout highschool as well. I have had many animals of my own and have even fostered orphaned kittens and puppies in the past! Working with animals gives me a purpose I cannot find anywhere else :) I work half remotely so I have plenty of open availability, let me know what works best with you! When watching your pets at your home I would likely ask many questions regarding you/your pets routine so I can make things as comfortable for your pet as possible! About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with animals and the genuine love and patience I bring to every pet I care for. I have been around animals my entire life, so I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and routine. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. My own dog has since passed away, but I helped care for him throughout his later years, which taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and providing extra comfort and support. Because of this experience, I am comfortable giving medications, helping pets stick to their routines, and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. When caring for pets, I make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and affection. Whether that means going on walks, playing fetch, providing  activities, sticking to feeding schedules, or simply spending quality time cuddling and keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure both pets and their owners feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. Since I am currently a college student and school is out, I have a lot of free time and a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of attention to the pets in my care. I currently have three cats who, despite not paying rent, are very well taken care of! Caring for them is a big part of my daily routine. I make sure they receive their daily feedings, fresh water, interactive playtime, plenty of attention, and daily litter box cleanings to keep their environment clean and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible so their pets feel safe and comfortable. This includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, administering medications if needed, and providing lots of love and companionship. I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities, so I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel cared for while their owners are away. About: I have a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from Michigan State University and previously work as a Receptionist for a Veterinary Hospital as I am familiar with companion animal health and nutrition, as well as first aid. I have a Miniature Australian Shepherd of my own that I enjoy staying active with through hiking and teaching her new tricks. I also own a horse and occasionally take care of the horses that are kept in the barn with him by feeding, turning in, blanketing, and cleaning stalls for them. I also enjoy cooking, writing, and lounging around watching Netflix. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats of many different breeds and personalities from Rottweilers to Shitzu's. From Persians to domestic shorthairs. I have experience with exotics that range from chameleons to rabbits as well. You name it, I’ve probably cared for it! I currently work remote Monday-Friday. Dog walking and pet care would be a great way to break up the mundane part of the week and allow me to get out more. Although I have an unfenced yard for my Australian Shepherd, all dogs will be kept on a leash for potty breaks. They will also get a walk on my lunch break and plenty of toys to play with. If in your home I am sure to spend time with them and make sure they are secure and receive very little disruption to their normal routine.

About: I have been working around animals since I was 14, and my parents wouldn't let me bring a pet home. Since then I have worked with dog trainers, therapy horses, on therapy farms, with dog breeders, just so I could spend time around animals. As a mom to two little boys, I don't have the ability to take care of my own animal, but would love the opportunity to spend some time with yours. I am comfortable with all animals, of any shape and size, and have a knack of reading their body language so I can give them a positive experience. I understand caring for animals is not always about what I want to do with the animal, rather what makes the animal feel safe and comfortable. I am currently a stay at home Mom, and my boys are out of the house from 9 to 1:30. I would love to walk your dog or just stop by and say hello to your pet in the mornings. Safety First, for me and the animals I am caring for. I understand that all animals are different and have different needs and fears. I pride myself on being able to read an animal's body language to know if they feel unsafe or may do something harmful to themselves or those around them. Having worked extensively with animals and children I understand that pets and people need to monitored carefully when meeting each other for the first time. I also understand that animals are curios creatures and will try to get into anything that looks new and exciting. I am always on the lookout from an animal perspective of what a pet can get into.
