“The dogs displayed great joy upon her arrival. She exhibited a pleasant demeanor, and I would certainly endorse her services once more. I appreciate your excellent care of my pets.”

About: I've been with and around pets since I was 14. I am a reliable resource to pet, play, feed, and walk neighbors' and friends animals for lots of time. I don't personally have any pets myself, but I often have dogs come stay with us and go visit other people's pets. I'm used to a dog running around and everyday responsibilities of having a pet/ I care for pets in my home or clients' home with the knowledge of what the dog is allowed and not allowed to do, what boundaries the home has, and the animal's safety at the front of my mind at all times.
“Love, love, love Elisa. She is very caring towards our dog and two cats, extremely dependable, and a pleasure to work with. If you choose her as your sitter, you will not be disappointed.”

“Marina was absolutely amazing! The pups came back from their walk incredibly happy and content, and we all had an amazing night’s sleep because of her! Will definitely book her again and again!”

About: I lived with and took care of two dogs for two years with a partner. Both were Bernedoodles; one was an adult and the other was a 9-weeks old puppy when we first got him. In addition, I have fostered a kitten with my sister for 4 months. Some traits I have that make me suitable for pet care are that I am reliable, punctual, and can follow instructions well. I am an orchestral violinist and Oxford academic, so my schedule is flexible and varies week to week. I am typically available for dog walking in the mornings and afternoons, 7 days a week. I offer dog walking services where I travel to the dog's home and walk the dog in their neighborhood, respecting the dog's autonomy by letting them lead the way and choose the route, within safe boundaries.
“Bryn was fantastic! Thorough and kind and curious about my dog Flynn. She made everyone involved feel so at ease as I began to navigate having to travel more. She asked all the right questions and kept me in the loop the entire time I was away. It’s beautifully obvious she adores animals and wants what’s best for all of them. I will absolutely be booking again.”

“We just had our second meet-and-greet with Kim, and we are already impressed! She was very professional, punctual and took the time to ask questions about Duke’s routine and personality. You can tell Kim loves animals and Duke warmed up instantly. We feel completely confident in booking with Kim again for our future dog walking needs and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet caregiver!”

About: Ever since i was a kid i went to some of my neighbors dogs to ask to play with them. For many years, me and my family have dogsit many of my moms friends dogs at our house for extended periods of time. Im currently working part time couple days a week at a retirement community and a full time student locally at bucks county community college. I also play baseball for my community college. We have 2-3 hour practices 5 days a week with games. However since im local i can drop by and walk dogs with the free time that i have which during the week is when im not in class or at baseball. I care with them using quality time. I enjoy playing and sitting with them whichever they prefer. I believe i take care of myself well and i want to do the same for the dog.

About: I’ve been a consistent pet owner since birth! I grew up caring for cats, rabbits, turtles, gerbils, and fish. As an adult, I have been trusted with care and medicating pets of all kinds, including even my own pet-sitter’s dog and cat! My last dear pet passed away last summer and now I am free to care for yours in my home or yours. “Our dog LOVES Amanda’s visits. She is professional but friendly and genuinely cares about his welfare! We have had to reschedule our walks a few times and Amanda has always been so flexible about it. We are lucky to have her!”

“I’m so happy we found Lena to walk our pup! She’s great at communicating and I really appreciate that she uses the Rover card to map out the walk and send a daily picture. As a first time Rover user, and a new dog owner, I was nervous about finding a good fit for our dog but Lena has been fantastic and I would highly recommend her!”

I’m very particular about who I leave Remi with and Courtney made me feel so comfortable and at ease during my time away! She sent many updates and pictures and was patient with Remi when she was nervous to take a walk. She was extremely communicative and followed all of my instructions for Remi! We will definitely be rebooking with Courtney- Remi is excited too! 😊🐾

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
