“Charles has been walking my dog Maple for about two weeks and he is great with her. She's a pretty shy dog but he is patient and kind with her. He sends me updates each day. Highly recommended!”

About: I have taken care of both cats and dogs since I was 8 years old. My family has always been a multi-pet household, and I began watching family friends’ pets at their homes at 13 years old. I currently am a part-time student at Bluestone Academy, so I can make almost anytime work. I most definitely have time to check in on your fur babies! I use positive reinforcement training and have a good gauge of when a dog is worn out or needs to get more energy out before going back inside. I’m experienced in reading dog body language, as well.

About: I’m been around animals large and small almost my entire life, including dogs, cats, horses, birds, and turtles! I’m comfortable with special needs animals that may need medicine or rescue animals that may be nervous and need a slow gentle approach. All are welcome. I am currently an online graduate student taking a much needed break from school this summer until I start up again this fall. This means I will have adequate time to take care of your pets in order to provide them the utmost attention and tend to any other needs they may have! Additionally, I have have a reliable vehicle so driving is perfectly okay with me. When caring for your pets, I would of course make sure they trust me, as I would be a stranger to them. If I was just dropping by I would make sure they had food or water and hadn’t gotten into anything, and of course give them lots of pets! Kindness over everything.

About: I have years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, from lively puppies to senior companions. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, refreshing water, and keeping spaces clean, as well as more specialized care like administering oral medications, monitoring eating habits, and watching for signs of stress. For cats, I handle everything from deep-cleaning litter boxes to engaging playtime or peaceful lap snuggles. For dogs, I keep them active with walks, backyard play, or a comfy spot for relaxation. What Sets Me Apart * Work remotely, so I’m available throughout the day * Live two blocks from Kiwanis Park for quick walks and playtime * Close to the John Wayne Trail for longer, scenic walks * Fully fenced backyard with dog door for safe, supervised outdoor access * Calm, quiet home environment — perfect for pets who prefer peace and stability * Flexible schedule for both planned and last-minute needs I'd like to give you peace of mind and make sure your pet feels truly cared for until you’re home again. Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is one of my greatest joys. Whether it’s a playful pup who loves exploring or a cat who enjoys a sunny window and gentle pets, I treat every animal like a valued member of the family. I believe in meeting pets where they are — adjusting to their personality, energy level, and comfort zone. From energetic play sessions to quiet companionship, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and understood. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, dogs have access to a fully fenced backyard with a secure gate and a dog door, so they can enjoy fresh air and play while staying safe. I keep the environment calm and quiet, which is ideal for pets who prefer a peaceful space. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your instructions closely to maintain their normal routine and environment. I make sure doors and gates are secured, food and water are fresh, and pets are never left unattended in unsafe situations. Whether it’s walks near Kiwanis Park or longer adventures on the John Wayne Trail, I always use a secure leash and harness, keeping a close eye on your pet’s comfort and safety. My goal is for every animal in my care to feel secure, loved, and well looked after until you’re back with them.

Lacey C.
“Lacey is one of those individuals that don't come along everyday - she is a compassionate and caring human being with a giant soft spot for our four-legged furry companions! Just ask my two dogs - they would give her 4 paws up! When Lacey is caring for my dogs, I am confident that they are safe, getting snuggles and all the love I would give them, and it's a bonus that she is also a certified dog trainer so her knowledge base about canine behaviors is extensive. Lacey is professional, highly skilled at what she does, responsive and open-minded, she uses a gentle and positive approach, and she cares deeply. Lacey goes above and beyond and I am hesitant to write this because selfishly, I don't want her schedule to fill up and risk her not being available when I need someone to care for my doggies. She's that good and I am so very grateful for her care and support.”
