About: Hello! My name is Nicole. I am a Sophomore in college at Appalachian State University. I currently have no other responsibilities besides school, so I am pretty flexible! I have a few months of Rover experience, and in that time, I got to care for both cats and dogs of different sizes and needs. I have a dog and a cat of my own, as well as 6 years of pet-sitting experience. These experiences included dogs of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. In that time, I enjoyed being able to care for every one of them and got to form close bonds with each as well. Your pets’ safety and happiness are always my #1 priority, and I will always make sure to care for your pet to my fullest extent. This being said, no job is too big or small! I aim to create a stress-free and fun environment for everyone. I potty and crate trained my 3-year-old puppy. About: I grew up with cats and have been taking care of people's dogs for many years. I was often the go to person for dog sitting in my co-housing community where I lived until recently in Santa Fe, NM. I moved back east at the end of 2022. I will be back in Santa Fe from September 20-October 7. *Please note that I charge $30 for meet and greets. I can add this on to your total booking fee or you can pay some other way. This ensures that people have a serious intention of booking when they ask me to come out and meet them and their animals and it also ensures that I am compensated for the time I spend doing this. Thank you for your understanding!* In the spring of 2022, I completed my graduate school classes in art therapy and clinical counseling at Southwestern College in NM and am working towards growing my business as an artist. I have the flexibility to pet sit often during this transition. I do not have an "online job". I take my artwork with me when I housesit and work on things that I can do at other people's homes (like sewing). Because of this, I am able to spend most of the time pet sitting at home with the animal. I enjoy connecting with both cats and dogs in their homes. I like taking dogs out on long hikes and I am a cat whisperer.

About: I have animal shelter experience and as a result, have worked with several different types of animals with different personalities and am very flexible and capable of working with very different acting animals. I have a very open and free schedule so I'm able to come and check on the pets as often as needed. I can spend long periods of time with the pets when needed. In the clients home, I will care for them according to the clients standards and by following instructions down to the letter in order to prevent issues.

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid and made Dog Care my responsibility since my mother worked night shift and the care and responsibility was completely up to me at a very young age. I've defiantly been blessed to have had several dogs in my life and all of them have lived a long time. Newest family member just turned one and the puppy phase is very detailed oriented. She came into our lives after our oldest passed away at 19. So from young to old I've been able to care from them all. My schedule is open and set for studying. I plan to attend school out of state in the near future. Nothing is set in stone at the moment so other than keeping my face in the book I have freedom and time on my side Dog care experience combined with my time available for the needs of the dog should help your dog feel loved and cared for in the absence of its owner.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

I'm a big advocate for playtime. I won't just stand around your house during the scheduled visits and let your dog be bored. We'll play with toys and run around and if you have a fenced in yard you can be sure I'll be out there throwing a tennis ball or playing tug of war with your pup until they're exhausted. I'll make sure our walks leave your dog well excersized and ready to nap for hours after we get home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a few years now. I understand your dogs are your babies so taking care of them and modifying to their needs is one of my biggest priorities! I have a lot of free time to take care of your fur babies! The summer weather is perfect for walks! About: I have owned cats and dogs my whole life so I have experience caring for them. I have raised litters of kittens from birth multiple times. I also have a degree in wildlife rehabilitation which is helpful in pet care because I have experience with messy situations, baby animals and unexpected circumstances! My schedule is pretty flexible this summer. I’m typically always available after 5 and weekends. I’m also typically available every other morning but can stop by early morning if needed. About: I’ve had dogs in my family home since the time I was born. Growing up, my neighbors would give me $5 a day to watch their dogs while they were at work or out of town. When I was a vet tech, I had a lot of clients that I would pet sit for when they would travel, sometimes for months at a time. I have two dogs of my own and one cat. I was a veterinary technician for 4 years, so I have a lot of experience in the medical field with animals as well. I also provide mobile nail trimming/bathing, etc. if you’re interested! I work a full time job. However, I am able to stay over night if you’re needing to go out of town for any reason. I’m super flexible with my schedule and have the ability to help with your needs. I have two good dogs that can keep your fur baby entertained. I also have a three old that’s good with animals. Please let me know if there’s anything special that needs to be done for your pet while they stay with me and my family if you choose to board with me. However, I am completely open and happy to stay at your house with your babies.

About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a full time potter who just opened an art gallery in downtown Blowing Rock. I run the gallery Wednesday-Sat 11-5 and Sunday 1-5. Beyond those hours, I can make myself available to spend time with your pet(s) either at my home or yours, as frequently as is needed. If your pet needs a potty break midway through my shift, I may be able to accommodate by having a friend cover my gallery mid day to run to let them out. Otherwise, I’ll just be sure they get a good thorough walk before and after my shift. I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals.

About: I’ve been around dogs & puppies a big chunk of my years, but around 2 years ago is when I got my baby when she was a baby! I trained her since a pup & love giving people advice Currently no job so availability Monday - Friday ! They’ll get more than enough attention & play time or whatever they need and want (: Anyway needed, there is no strict way to care for dogs as they are all different and need different things! About: Ever since my family got a collie as a pet when I was a kid, I have been in love with dogs. That has only enhanced as I’ve grown older and cared for my own. I am currently working remotely from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. Prior to walking your pets or stopping by for feedings or playtime, I would like to meet you and your pets first, if possible. That way we can make sure we all feel comfortable! It will also give us a chance to talk through instructions and expectations. I know this isn't always feasible and that's ok.
