About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I’ve done everything from fostering to raising litters of puppies and kittens. I’m an active person so there is no shortage of playtime. I’m very dedicated to providing the love and support pets need! Caring for pets is always a priority of mine as I currently own a dog and cat myself. I work part time so my schedule is very flexible. I have a spare bedroom in my house with a large mattress for pets to rest on. There is space for a crate if needed. My backyard is very spacious. My area is fairly quiet as I live outside the city. I also have a very friendly dog and cat so your pets can have new friends (can be separated if needed).

We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. I do work full time unless my schedule changes so if it changes and I can always update anyone on that and go earlier if possible. During the week I am available to walk/check in between 7am to 8am before work typically unless my schedule changes and after work would be after 5:30pm unless my schedule changes and I get off earlier and weekends I am completely flexible! I can play with the dogs in your home or your backyard if you have one. Feed and water them if they’re on a schedule. Ensure gates/doors are locked/closed to ensure safety.
About: My family have always owned at least 4 dogs at a time and growing up it was our responsibility as kids to care for them. We would brush them, walk them, feed them, and bath them. “I had an emergency and needed someone to take my two rough collies on their twice-daily walks. One is a retired service dog who is deaf, and the other is a young collie with epilepsy. Because of their special needs, I was quite anxious about finding the right person. Caitlin was exactly what I needed. She had a calm, reassuring presence and was warm, gentle, and playful with both dogs. She quickly understood their individual needs. By the second day, they were eagerly waiting for her arrival. Luna, the service dog, had never “done her business” on a leash before, but with Caitlin, she had no hesitation. Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.
About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a potter who works from my home studio, and I make my own schedule- so I can generally be flexible and accommodate your pets needs. I love having pets in my home, and breaking away from my studio to get some fresh air and puppy/kitty love too! If I’m working on a big project, it’s nice to have to flexibility to come and go from my studio when possible, or have your pet there with me- but I have worked out all kinds of house sit/drop in/boarding arrangements according to the needs of clients and their pets. About: I have over 45 yrs of experience in pet care. I was a dog trainer (now partially retired), owned my own pet sitting business for many years, fostered/adopted many rescues and I currently volunteer at and support several rescues. About: Not only do I get along well with animals, I also understand the importance of being a great pet sitter. For me it’s about going above or beyond whether it’s sitting with the pet to ease their nerves that their owner is gone or taking them on their favorite adventure (my dog Gus loves to swim in creeks)! About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. I stared working at a vets office and haven’t looked back. Pet care can look like many different things in my week such as, a single feeding, a walk, a check in or the full on in home service with all the feedings and all the walks. While, I would love to have every dog and cat over to my house I can’t realistically do that b/c I own a cat who does love other cats and she tolerates dogs, your dog or cat would have to be cat friendly. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I’ve done everything from fostering to raising litters of puppies and kittens. I’m an active person so there is no shortage of playtime. I’m very dedicated to providing the love and support pets need! Caring for pets is always a priority of mine as I currently own a dog and cat myself. I work part time so my schedule is very flexible. I have a spare bedroom in my house with a large mattress for pets to rest on. There is space for a crate if needed. My backyard is very spacious. My area is fairly quiet as I live outside the city. I also have a very friendly dog and cat so your pets can have new friends (can be separated if needed).

“Do you want your pets to feel so at home and comfortable that they are upset when they leave? Mark's house is the place to be! Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mark helped us on short notice and was able to provide us peace and reassurance that our babies were cared for! Mark kept our male and female German Shepherds, and they had an absolute blast. Mark sent us multiple photos and videos and kept us very up-to-date on what they were doing throughout their visit. He asked questions about their personalities and needs that showcased his care and attention to detail. With his knowledge and experience with German Shepherds, it really shined in the care he provided them!
