I moved to Elizabethton just before Thanksgiving to be with my parents and I became the primary caregiver for my father, who has dementia. It’s a responsibility I’m proud to take on. Getting out of the house to walk, play with, and fall in love with your pets is exactly what I need to stay balanced. Since I manage my dad’s daily tasks, I have a very flexible schedule and the time to truly focus on your fur-babies. I’m looking for that 'pet therapy' a reason to get out and about just as much as your pets are looking for a loving caregiver. I’ll be there whenever you need me to even in short notice! Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.

About: Ever since my family got a collie as a pet when I was a kid, I have been in love with dogs. That has only enhanced as I’ve grown older and cared for my own. I am currently working remotely from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. Prior to walking your pets or stopping by for feedings or playtime, I would like to meet you and your pets first, if possible. That way we can make sure we all feel comfortable! It will also give us a chance to talk through instructions and expectations. I know this isn't always feasible and that's ok.

About: I have took care of dogs and cats since i was 9 years old. I have always had animals in my house and I love to take care of them. I have looked after my friend’s and family’s cats and dogs both. I am free most of the time! I want to find a way to help others by also doing something I love which is taking care of dogs. I watch after my dogs daily and would love to share the love I have for my dogs to yours. I do not have a fenced in yard, however i do own leashes that I would take dogs out on in order to insure nothing happens to your fur babies!

About: Throughout middle and high school I was a local dog sitter to several different families in my neighborhood. Now, I spend my time volunteering at the local animal shelter or pet sitting. I currently am in graduate school at Appalachian State. I am only in class Monday and Tuesdays and the rest of the week I work part time at a school. I’m able to come home in between classes to spend time with pets and let them outside. I care for pets like I would my own! I make sure that they have everything they need for their happiness and wellbeing. I have experience with all kinds of different breeds and personalities! My husband, Josh, and I live in our camper van, so we are able to provide constant care for your pets while you're away. When you book us for overnight sits, we take care of your pets and stay in your home as a team of professional petsitters. Josh works remotely in IT, and I work some weekends in the wedding industry, so with no physical, daily job to go to and no house/pets of our own to check on, we are able to spend a significant amount of our time taking care of your pets. A bonus of our luxury care is that your pets will get double the love and attention from us throughout the day; our goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible and for them to hardly know you're gone! Living in a van and working remotely comes with so much flexibility for us and our Rover clients. Pet parents value the level of care we're able to provide with our nomadic lifestyle. Petcare is my full-time job, so when you book us for a housesit, that is my main priority. While I'm the main caretaker, Josh learns about your pets' care needs and helps out a ton as well, especially if I have to work a wedding or I need to do drop-ins/dog walks. We work great as a team to meet your pets’ needs and to keep their normal routine. We take the safety of your pets and the care of your home very serious. If you have pets that require special attention or have high anxiety, we are there to ensure everyone is safe, relaxed, and taken care of. About: I have over 45 yrs of experience in pet care. I was a dog trainer (now partially retired), owned my own pet sitting business for many years, fostered/adopted many rescues and I currently volunteer at and support several rescues. Animals are my heart and soul and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I'm currently working part time and I will make myself available for your pet 24/7 whether it's late night potty trips outside or long walks during the day. I will care for your pets however you would like. I can do long walks, short walks, provide medications, specially prepared meals, play games, etc. I specialized in elderly dogs, hospice dogs and medical needs dogs when I fostered.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was a young child. I use to volunteer at our local Shelter. I enjoy walking and playing with the dogs and giving lots of scratches and love and cuddles. I'm able to take them to appointments, feed them, etc. I currently have my precious best friends Buddy who is a Jack Russell Chihuahua mix and Cooper a Beagle, Chihuahua, Poodle mix! Buddy loves to walk in the park and play just like all our 4 legged friends and his younger brother Copper loves to do Zoomies in the house and yard, loves to kay in the sun and play with squeaky balls! I also have a cockatiel named Sora. 7 parakeets, named Sweetie, Little Foot, Baby, Neptune, Snow, Sunflower, and Millet. 1 cat named Kisa, and 1 Plecostomus or sucker fish named Archie! I love to spend time with and give lots of tender loving care to them all! I work 4 days a week but not late thankfully, so I'm always around to take care of my fur, feather, and scale, babies! We all love to play but also to learn different tricks and fun things to play with. I have a fenced in yard that my dogs have access to through a doggy door. I have a large indoor aviary for my birds, and my Sucker fish Archie has a large tank to himself!

About: My family have always owned at least 4 dogs at a time and growing up it was our responsibility as kids to care for them. We would brush them, walk them, feed them, and bath them. I recently graduated with an MBA from East Tennessee State University and I’m working full time as a marketing manager for Ballad Health Medical Associates. I work 3 in days in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and work 2 days remotely Monday and Friday. My job is 2 minutes from my home so I would be able to check on your dog during lunch or check on them at your place. For this reason I don’t accept house sitting on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday that are more than 10 miles away. They will have my attention at all time. They might get tired of me wanting to play with them. I love being around dogs and will make sure your fury friend is well taken care of and happy

About: I like dogs more than most humans. Let me meet your four-legged baby, and we could be friends forever. We can go splash around in a creek or go to the park and throw frisbee. I work and go to school part time, but I have several days during the week I can devote my time to your fur baby. I’ll make sure your animals are fed and hydrated. I aim to stimulate them both mentally and physically so they can burn off steam. Don’t worry if they are high energy, so am I; so we will get along just fine. :)
