About: I’ve had animals from childhood and love learning about all of their special requirements so that they thrive and are happy. I’ve received multiple trainings in pet first aid and never leave the house without being prepared. I have room in my schedule morning, lunch, and evening walks and feeding. I have limited space to take your dog to my home for boarding. I have plenty of property but would keep your dog on a leash when going outside. I have two dogs who are very dog friendly and make friends easily. They just love to chase the ball and love life. I am extremely conscientious; my dogs are very well cared for. I bring that same level of care to everything that I do.

About: Hi, I’m Abigail! I recently moved back to the Hudson Valley to develop my career in the environmental field. I’m currently working part-time at a native plant nursery. When I'm not spending time nature and with plants, I love caring for animals! Growing up with animals in my household ranging from cats to dogs (to even turtles and birds) has given me an affinity to not just adore all types of animals, but has given me the proper skills to understand the responsibility of caring for an animal. I understand that all animals are unique in what makes them feel comfortable and loved and will always do what is best to ensure the safety and comfortability of your pet! For dogs: - A meet and greet would be a great idea beforehand to get to know both you and your dog, so I can provide the best service possible! - I love being outdoors as much as I can, so I plan to take your dog for long walks as much as I can! - As for potty breaks, I think three times a day is the absolute minimum. Once in the morning, afternoon, and before bedtime. However, if I am not working, I can take them out as much as you/they desire! - Maintaining your pets feeding routine is very important to and I take special care to be considerate of any special dietary care you dog needs. - Lastly, I know it can be hard for some animals to be separated from their loved ones. I will make sure they are feeling loved while they are under my care. For cats: - I currently care for an orange tabby rescue, named Hugo, who can be a bit needy, (although him being special only makes me love him more!), so I understand that cats can require a lot of attention and love, and I will ensure to give them plenty while they are under my care. - Cleanliness is very important when caring for cats, as the owner and of a cat, I know my cat can get upset if his litter box is not kept in pristine condition, and when caring for your cat I will do the same! - Diet is just as important for animals as it is for humans. Feeding your pet according to their needs is something I will take seriously. I work part time, Wed - Sat, however I can be pretty flexible to accommodate your schedule. If I am unable to meet the needs requested I will be sure to give as much notice as possible. In a clients home, I like to keep things tidy and work within the boundaries discussed with the client. Cleanliness is important to me and I appreciate staying in homes that are kept in generally good condition. I try to mirror the animal's usual routine in a home and prioritize everyone’s comfortability.

About: Animals are the best friends in our lives and deserve attentive care and respect, as well as an active life of curiosity and steady love! I am available this summer pretty much all the time. Those days when I am not available will not be on my schedule thank you! At my house we have four acres to run around on and a long private road with very little traffic where we can explore together (with a leash). There is a lot of fresh air and fun natural smells coming up from the woods to investigate!

About: I have been growing up around and taking care of pets all of my life. I have taken care of puppies, middle-aged dogs, senior dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and pigs. I can give them medication and bring them into appointments. I love to with dogs! I have a backyard and other dogs for them to play with. In case an emergency, I live 15 to 20 minutes away from two different animal hospitals. Since I only work part-time job during the day, I love sitting outside in the sun, playing with the dogs and watching them run around and play with each other. I love meeting, new pets and getting to know them. I also love sitting inside and watching TV while I pet your pet. At my house we let the dogs out every 2 to 4 hours to go to the bathroom. They are mostly outside anyways. They go on a walk every day. I feed my pets twice a day. They get lots of love and cuddles. For my clients pets, I play with them All day and I do whatever they would specifically like me to do with their pet.

Across my street lives 3 dogs and a cat named jerry, sweet pups Pablo, Matilda and Bailey, Bailey is an old paranoid shitzu with a therapy jacket that makes her more docile, if you're not in the sun rubbing her belly she can't see clearly and assumes you're a threat, so I approach her with loving speech and body language, Matilda is a very emotional rescue who is older and very docile and sad until she met Pablo a 1 year old puppy crossbreed, he keeps her young and spry, he has beautiful white teeth and hair, I am very interested in the upkeep of your animal's physical, emotional, environmental and mental wellbeing. I will pamper your loved ones to the highest degree while also showing them how to act in a strangers house without being scared, homesick, nervous or rowdy. :) I've been around all types of animals caged, untrained, unspayed in heat animals who need extra care and attention, I am exploring animal behaviors, training and pet sitting animals of all walks of life, I am also attempting to train the neighborhood Squirrells and chipmunks to eat food out of my hands and avoid the road, I know bird calls and how to attract owls, hawks, butterflies and most social animals. When I was young I hand fed a wild doe and Bambi as we called him, a calm baby deer. My father lives in the Catskill mountains and since birth I've played with, caterpillars, ants, daddy long legs, peepers, frogs, toads, tadpoles, and threw back all the fish my dad caught. I have a photo of my younger self in preschool approaching a praying mantis that had got into the classroom, all the kids were screaming and I'm seen holding and playing with him until I brought him back outside. All the bugs I find in my house I trap and release back into the wild including ants, spiders, stink bugs, bees, lady bugs, inch worms and more. I feel that all living things deserve respect and empathy. I am very interested in the upkeep of your animal's physical, emotional, environmental and mental wellbeing. I will pamper your loved ones to the highest degree while also showing them how to act appropriately in a sitter's house without becoming territorial, aggressive, homesick, nervous or rowdy. I love all animals and understand that just because they can't communicate verbally, doesn't mean they can't communicate. I have a home with energy balancing Buddhist symbols (laughing Buddha, energy cleansing aromas and a clean peaceful home for your animal's stay. About: I have taken care of many types of animals- specifically cats and dogs! I have had numerous pets throughout my life, and currently have 2 cats of my own! I understand the love and admiration we have for our furry family members, and I bring that care and attention to every animal I meet. I am willing to negotiate pet care services, especially in circumstances of multiple pets, extended stays, etc. Please reach out if you have any questions! We can work something out! I am a graduate student taking night classes, so I can be available morning and midday, as well as most weekends. My schedule does vary week to week, but this can be overcome with coordination and communication! I am very attentive to my pets needs, making sure they have regular veterinary visits, are well fed, clean and cared for. Some pets also require exercise, so that can be a necessity.

About: I have been around animals all my life. Born in the country, cows and horses are most common, but I’ve come to love having dogs, cats, and reptiles of my own! There has never been an animal I couldn’t warm up to, and I love getting to know every pets unique personality.
