About: I was raised with a Swiss mountain dog for an older sister, and became her caretaker in later years. I’ve had dogs in my life ever since, and have learned the right mix of patience, attention, and love that it takes to give them the life they deserve! As a recent college grad who moved away from home, I dearly miss my own dog and would love to meet yours ❤️ As a Duke grad, I now work at the Duke Campus Farm as a communications fellow. My days end early, and a large percentage of work can be done remotely while watching your pup. As someone who has dealt with their fair share of naughty pets, I can keep a watchful eye on your dog in or out of the house and crate as needed.

About: I've been caring for animals since I was 10 years old, and over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me with the special care of their beloved pets. For over a year, I worked in a lab-like setting providing daily care to a wide variety of exotic animals, including reptiles, amphibians, small mammals and birds. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning, and general husbandry for each species. I also have experience caring for senior animals, including administering medication and performing nail trims, so I'm comfortable with pets who need a little extra attention and care. I currently work part-time and am finishing up my Associate's degree, which gives me a good amount of flexibility during the week to care for your fur babies. On days I work an 8-hour shift, there may be a slightly longer gap between potty breaks, but I always plan ahead and communicate clearly so you know exactly what to expect. Providing consistent, quality care for your animals is a top priority for me, no matter my schedule. When I care for your pets in their own environment, I bring nothing but comfort and love. I give excellent cuddles and scritches, and genuinely enjoy enriching their day with play. I know when to be calm and reassuring, and when to be playful and energetic, adapting to match each pet's unique personality. About: I have two cats and a small dog at home that I bathe, walk, clean up after and cuddle! I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding kennel. I am passionate about pet care and comfortability and I am committed to brightening your favorite family member's day! No matter the breed, size, age or temperament, every pet deserves the best care. I am currently working part-time and attending classes on Tuesday and Thursday, but I am available for nighttime check ins on those days. I am very patient and understanding, so please just communicate anything you need and I will work with you! I am currently staying in a dorm and am unfortunately unable to board pets. I am able to provide your pet with any kind of care in-home that you need, whether that is administering medicine, puppy care, training practice, basic necessities and, of course, play time! About: Hello! I've pet sat for multiple years now and would love to help you out! From new born puppies to elderly dogs I've done it all. Dogs, cats, chickens, and even bearded dragons, I gotchu! I'm a student at UNC Chapel Hill and can handle any needs and wants to need from me! Hope to sit for you very soon! I am available in the morning before class that begins around 10am and all the time afterwards around 1:30pm. On weekends I am available all day! I am fully able to complete anything the owner needs from me! Walks, medication, play time, staying over some nights, I'm your girl! I can usually stay for some hours each time I need to drop by and of course spend nights if needed!

About: I've been working with dogs since childhood - my parents raised Pekingese & Dobermans. Even at 8 years old, I helped mama dogs birth their pups. My schoolmates thought it was gross, most adults thought it was weird, but I thought it was super cool to be a part of bringing life into the world through adorable little squeaking pups. Even though we were very ethical & loving with our pups, many backyard breeders are not, so I no longer agree with that. But as an adult, I fell in love with rescues & adopted a few over the years. Then I decided I wanted to be more involved with Rescues. So... I became a Foster Parent, assisted Black Dog Rescue, & was an integral part of Cooper's Companions Animal Rescue in Colorado before moving to NC. I usually ended up fostering "unadoptable" dogs & working with them extensively until they became adoptable. Then I followed up with their new pet parents to help ensure success & making it stick. My specialty is working with fearful dogs, teaching pet owners how to get the behavior they want from their pet, stopping jumping on people, food possessiveness, leash training, & training dogs to walk on a treadmill. We have 2 little dogs who had a big 'sister' for many years, so all size dogs are welcome; Both of our pups are super dog-friendly. One of them loves to play with other dogs after she gets to know them, and the other will play sometimes, but can be a bit of a snob. We want all dogs to enjoy staying with us, but... we won't tolerate a 'truly' aggressive dog in our home. My dogs might initially bark at other dogs, but they don't attack other dogs, so should either of my dogs be attacked or if a human is bitten, the offender will be separated & crated inside, or placed in our separately fenced kennel area outside (if you prefer) for the remainder of their stay. Any issues will be discussed with the dog owner to establish their preference in this regard. Otherwise, we'll shower your fur baby with love & attention so you won't have to worry about them when you're away. Please note: *** Going forward, we will only board *female* dogs & they must be spayed. We stopped accepting male dogs in our home because the hiking of legs is problematic. *** If they are not spayed, I will be happy to do drop in care, but we will not be able to host in our own home. --- I require a meetup with dogs & their owners before actually accepting a booking. If you are unable to do this, I'm unable to take care of your fur babies. --- I work from home, so my availability is fairly open unless we're on vacation or if in the event that I have to go on a business trip. _____________________________________________________________________________ *** Important Note*** Doggie Day Care is for "up to 9 hours" each stay. If you need care for more than 9 hours, please schedule it as a boarding. Just let me know it's for an extended hours stay in a message. Otherwise, for requested stays exceeding 9 hours, I will send you a modification request changing it from 'day care' to the status of 'boarding' which costs more. If I have to send you a modification request & you don't want to pay a boarding fee for time exceeding 9 hours, you may choose to decline the change & it will never actually be booked with me. However, in this instance, you will need to find another sitter. Thank you for understanding... We have a fenced in yard for your pup to play in. The previous home owners put in a separate fenced kennel, so that's an available option in case you prefer your dog to be separated. It's unusual, but some people do prefer that. We almost never use it, though.

About: My love for animals began when I was growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, ducks, and chickens. Over the years, I’ve also gained experience caring for smaller pets like ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs.
