“Mystery was so helpful and the perfect person to use during the holidays. She was quick to respond and sent pictures daily. My two kitties trusted her so easily because she is just that good with animals. I will absolutely be using her again. Thank you!!”

“Jazmine did an amazing job with checking in with me. She spent time with my kitten who warmed up to her quickly. We know animals have a good sense of who’s a beautiful soul. She went above and beyond by sending me pictures of my baby. I didn’t have to worry once while being away. Thank you Jazmin!”

“I had never used Rover and must admit that I was leary about it. Lia completely alleviated my concerns. After her very first report, I knew she could be trusted to provide excellent care for our two cats. She not only took care of the basics like feeding and cleaning the litter box, but also gave the cats lots of attention (petting, brushing, treats, etc.). I highly recommend her, and will request her again.”

“Vanessa was a dream sitter! She responded quickly to my initial inquiry and communicated consistently with me. I especially appreciated that she was available during thanksgiving weekend! I truly enjoyed seeing the pictures and videos she sent of our pups during her daily drop-ins. Vanessa was kind, considerate, and compassionate, and that shined through in how our pups were so delighted to see her every day. We will be rebooking Vanessa for our future pet sitting needs. Thank you Vanessa!”

I currently work a flexible schedule from home which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your fur babies. I'm no stranger to taking them along to run errands either. I currently live in a condo, however I not only have a fenced in patio, with enough room to play fetch. My condos also have a dog area, and have a trail attached to them. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule.

“Cristina was great and worked every time she dropped in to make my shy boy more comfortable! I definitely recommend Cristina and have already booked her for my next trip!”

“Jill took care of Lady our dog for 8 days. She did a three time check in for us, and did a wonderful job for us. We would highly recommend her and plan on using her in the future.”

“Cessili did a great job. She checked in on Shiloh 2x per day while I was away. She set a meet up to interact with Shiloh, which was good. She was consistent with her visits to make sure he was fed on schedule and took tons of pictures. She even rearranged her schedule for when I was arriving back just to make sure the pup was all taken care of. I would definitely recommend Cessili!”

About: I’ve been a pet owner for 20 years and have owned dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. Since I was young I was always the primary caregiver for my pets. I would bathe, clean, groom, feed, and clean up after my pets. I’d make sure their areas were clean and safe, they had their water bowls filled and that they were fed good food. I am available in the afternoons for boarding and other services. I have a safe home with room for small/medium dogs and cats. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in El Paso. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
