Soonie, my beloved Poodle mix who lived to 17, and Cali, my cherished Shih Tzu who lived to 16, were not pets in my home — they were my family. I devoted myself to them completely, especially through their senior years, researching their conditions, adapting their care, celebrating their good days and holding them gently through the hard ones. I made sure every single day of their lives was whole, comfortable and full of love. Losing them left spaces in my heart that will never fully close — and that grief is exactly why I understand, deeply and personally, what your pet means to you. Today my home belongs to Jerry, a 2-year-old rescue I brought from Ciudad Juárez and gave a second chance at a beautiful life, and Mae, my 3-year-old Maine Coon mix who arrived from the community of cats in my backyard and simply never left — because once an animal finds love in my home, they stay. I work from home full time and I am the sole caretaker for every pet in my care. Your dog will have my presence, my attention and my genuine affection throughout the entire day — no long lonely hours, no anxiety, no wondering where their person went. Just calm, warmth and the kind of steady care that comes from someone who has spent a lifetime learning what animals need — not from a manual but from decades of loving them. I am a bilingual English and Spanish Ph.D., a proud and devoted fur mom, and someone with deep hands-on experience with small breeds, senior dogs, rescue animals and multi-pet households. Every dog that comes into my care receives the same devotion I gave Soonie and Cali — because your pet is not a responsibility to me. They are a privilege. When you leave your dog with me, you are leaving them with someone who will love them until you return. 🐾 Because I work from home, pet care is not something I fit into my day — it is woven into the fabric of it. My mornings begin early with my own furry family. Jerry, our rescue dog, gets fed around 7:30am followed by dedicated time that includes walks, play, quality one-on-one attention and sometimes a drive — because he deserves a full and joyful morning. Mae, our Maine Coon mix, gets the same loving attention and care. My own pets come first, always — and that consistency and devotion is exactly what I bring to every pet in my care. After my morning routine I have the rest of my day available and flexible. I can accommodate drop-in visits, feeding times, walks, extended stays and overnights around your schedule — mornings, afternoons and evenings. I work from home which means I am present, attentive and available throughout the day in a way that a traditional 9-to-5 sitter simply cannot offer. Evening feeding for my own babies happens around 4pm, after which I remain fully available for whatever your pet needs — a walk, a visit, company or an overnight stay. Your pet's routine matters to me. I will learn it, respect it and honor it — because animals thrive on consistency and I am someone who understands that deeply. When it comes to the safety and wellbeing of your pet, I believe in one fundamental principle: your pet is happiest and most comfortable in their own home, in their own space, surrounded by their own familiar smells and routines. That is why the care I offer is built entirely around your pet's world — not mine. For drop-in visits I arrive at your home with full attention and genuine presence. I don't just fill a bowl and leave. I spend real quality time with your pet — playing, cuddling, talking to them, observing how they're feeling and making sure they are safe, stimulated and loved until you return. Every visit I will update you with how your pet is doing so you can have peace of mind wherever you are. For walks I treat your dog's walk as the highlight of their day — because for them it is. I pay close attention to their energy, their pace and their comfort, keeping them safe, engaged and happy from the moment we step out the door to the moment we return home. For overnight stays I treat your home with the utmost respect and care. Your pet's routine, their feeding schedule, their sleeping arrangements, their comfort — everything stays exactly as they know it. My job is to be a calm, trustworthy and loving presence in their space so that your absence feels as gentle as possible. I communicate openly and consistently. You will always know how your pet is doing. I take this trust seriously — because I know exactly what it feels like to love an animal completely and need to know they are safe.

About: I worked in an animal shelter for a year in high school to help dogs get adopted. I also have taken care of friends and family pets for years! I do have foster care experience with an American bully who made himself at home quickly and got adopted shortly after! Currently I have an open schedule this week! The dogs will be part of my family if they stay. They have the same freedom as my own dog. I will take all dogs for a walk. All dogs will have the same amount of love and attention in my home. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I have lots of time to spend with your pups! I will keep you informed if I need to leave the house I have a fenced in yard giving the pups lots of room to play. I have plenty of dog toys and love to have them play fetch I’m a stay at home mom. I am home all day if I leave it’s only for a couple of hours. The dogs can go outside multiple times throughout the day I care for your pets as if they were my own. I put safety as a #1 priority my home and yard are clean to be sure the pups can not get into anything.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for 20 years and have owned dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. Since I was young I was always the primary caregiver for my pets. I would bathe, clean, groom, feed, and clean up after my pets. I’d make sure their areas were clean and safe, they had their water bowls filled and that they were fed good food. I’d walk them, run with them, play with them and make sure they were safe and sound. I am currently available every morning from 7:00 am until midday to walk your pets. I am available in the afternoons for boarding and other services. I have a safe home with room for small/medium dogs and cats. I have no fenced yard at the moment but I have a large dog run to allow dogs to go out for a restroom break/fresh air and they are allowed to be inside my home in the living room areas. I have kennels in the home that are routinely cleaned where they can rest at night.
