About: I have a schnauzer/ terrier mix. Love my dog, I care about animals just like you do! Teach me how to take care of yours! I am currently on the job market, so I have lots of free time to take care of those fur babies! Love them all haha. I respect boundaries and limitations, especially at someone’s house, I work well with animals because they’re easier to babysit, not as unpredictable as humans haha.
“As always Paola took such good care of my animals while out of town! Great communication and provided lots of photos. I always feel at ease leaving them under her care. 😊”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine love and dedication to pets. I've got experience training puppies and caring for my own cats and dogs, so I know how to keep them happy and healthy. Your furry friends will get lots of love, attention, and a bit of fun training to make sure they're always wagging their tails or purring with joy! Even though I have school in the mornings, I always make sure to have plenty of time to take care of your pets with lots of love and attention. My availability is pretty flexible, except for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12-2 PM. So, your furry friends will always be in good hands! When it comes to caring for pets, whether it's in my home or my client's home, I make sure to treat them like family. In my home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and regular feeding schedules. If I'm at a client's home, I stick to their routine, ensuring their pets feel secure and loved. I make sure to follow any specific instructions, give them lots of attention, and keep their space clean and cozy. Your pets' happiness and well-being are always my top priority!
About: Hi, my name is Kalene! I am currently active duty military in El Paso and am pursuing my BS in biology to work with animals once I get out of the military. I have had all kinds of animals my entire life such as dogs, cats, birds, bearded dragons, chinchillas, and chameleons. I was going to school for pre-veterinary medicine before I joined the military, so have plenty experience caring for animals. I have had fur babies in the past with special medical needs so if your baby needs medication, I have plenty of experience providing that. I hope to hear from you soon and that I can provide care for your furry family! 😊 Because I’m active duty, my schedule varies. But any free chance I’m able to, I would love to care for your sweet pets! My typical day I work M-F from 0900-2pm. There are certain days we have training that I will not be available but I’m fully aware of what those days are at the time of your request so I can get back to you asap if those days work. I have a fenced in backyard and 2 sweet dogs. Brody and carnage. Brody is a 4 year old neutered chocolate lab and gets along with everybody and every dog. He gets very excited and whines a lot when meeting a new friend but he’s always sweet. Carnage is a 1 year old neutered cane corso and and its sweetest crazy boy ever. Hes very hyper and playful and loves making new dog friends. Every dog I have owed has been kennel trained, so if you require the same in your home I’m use to working with that :) I have very high standards for how my dogs are cared for therefore I will treat your dogs as my own when they are in my care.
“Our most shy cat was not apprehensive around Nayeli. He even gave her his belly for rubs on her second visit of the day! Our babies feel so safe and loved with her. We will definitely be rebooking ❤️”

About: Hello all, my name is Lidia and I have taken care of doggies since I was about 7 years old. I enjoy spending time with dogs in any way possible. I love cuddle time and walks, I love giving scratches and getting kisses. I super enjoy playing with dogs and giving them all the love and care. My family has always trusted me to make sure our doggies were fed and clean and that any messes were taken care of. I enjoy all the good times but also the little accidents that dogs can sometimes cause. Let me know how I can best take care of your baby and I will do my best to fulfill and excel in caring for them! I spend my days enjoying my own cat and dogs at home or trips to the park for the doggies. I use my days as a delivery driver but that can change with no problem depending on the needs of booked clients. I have a fenced backyard where your doggy can go out and run around as much as they need to. I have a cat and two dogs of my own. My cat is content to stay away from any other pets in his own room. My dogs, on the other hand, love to play and make new friends. They will keep your pet company and play with them under my supervision. I love having other dogs around because that way my dogs will also have a ton of fun and burn off their excess energy as well.
“Andrea was absolutely amazing. During her check-ins she sent plenty of pictures and updates. She even asked if she could brush my dog which was not something she needed to do. My dog seemed very happy while I was gone and I will definitely be using Andrea again anytime I am away.”

About: Hi! I have had so many pets from cats, dogs, horses, rabbits and even turtles throughout my life!! I am experienced and love caring for all pets. Whether it’s young cute puppies or senior pets with wisdom, I’m the girl to care of your babies! I work closely with veterinarians everyday as I am working as a veterinary technician and I am also pursuing my own career in veterinary medicine. I would know exactly what to do should a problem arise. I graduated with my bachelors in Biological sciences and a concentration BioMed in the fall 2021. Ever since I have been applying to veterinary schools with unfortunately no luck. I have a lot of free time since I am only working as a veterinary technician right now. I would love the opportunity to spend some of my free time with your baby! I have three babies of my own which are no more than 10lbs. I love small and big babies and don’t have a preference as it’s extremely difficult for me to choose. I love going on long walks at mckelligon canyon but unfortunately my small dogs can’t handle that hard walk. So if your dog needs some energy to be released I am ready! Spending my free time would be the best for this crazy dog/cat girl! I am currently a full time veterinary tech. My afternoons and weekends are free. I am working from seven to about five. I do have lunch breaks that allow me to check in and I live about 4 minutes from my work. My home is clean, fenced and we have an amazing park that’s about 6 minutes away. I have three dogs and one cat. Your pet must be pet friendly.
About: Hello! I'm Savannah, and I bring over 25 years of experience caring for a wide range of breeds, from Yorkies to Rottweilers. My true passion is sharing my love for animals. I aim to be a trusted and caring presence for dog owners needing assistance with their beloved pets. Having recently bid farewell to my own dear Springer Spaniel and Yorkie, who enriched my life for 17 and 15 years respectively, I now find myself an empty nester. I'm eager to extend my love and support to new furry friends in need. I’m experienced in caring for dogs at their most energetic ages and senior ages but both require the same amount of love and attention. Here, your fur baby will find itself with lots of play, attention, and exercise. A walk, which I like to call puppy adventure, includes exercise for your pup, water, cleanup, and a treat if the owner approves. 🐾 I’m experienced in attending to dogs with specific needs including dietary restrictions and allergies. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I work from home with plenty of flexibility and time to attend to your pets. My priority as a pet care provider is to make sure they’re comfortable and that their personal needs are met. I have a fenced yard with trees and grass which provides a safe and fun area for your furry friends to take an outside break. Since El Paso has hot weather I allow the pets to be indoors most of the time where I can keep an eye on them and use outdoors for play and potty breaks.
“Karla was amazing with my 2 dogs. She was on time, stayed longer to give them time to potty, and gave them a lot of love. She went above and beyond and wiped their paws, picked up poop, dried them from the bad weather this weekend, and got them toys. She sent updates, pictures and videos every visit. She also left us a beautiful thank you card with pictures of my babies. I would recommend her to everyone and will be booking her again soon.”

About: I have strong pet-care experience and treat every dog with patience and attention. What sets me apart is my reliability, calm energy, and ability to care for puppies, seniors, and pets with special routines. I always make sure they feel safe and loved. I’m responsible and active, and my schedule is flexible enough to make pet care part of my day. I enjoy taking breaks for walks, playtime, and feeding, so spending time with pets fits in easily and naturally. I make sure every visit is on time and full of attention for your furry friend. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and happy at all times. In my care, I keep their environment clean, secure, and calm. I follow any instructions from the owner closely, whether it’s feeding, medication, or playtime, so pets feel safe and loved while I’m looking after them.
“Melissa did a great job looking after my two cats while I was out. She always communicated and sent me pictures, which I appreciated. I highly recommend her.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable administering medications, including oral meds and intramuscular injections, and I always pay close attention to an animal’s comfort, behavior, and routine. I have a soft spot for timid, anxious, or unsure dogs and believe in moving at their pace to build trust and help them feel safe. Whether your pet is high-energy and loves adventure or prefers slow sniffy walks and quiet company, I tailor care to what makes them happiest. I just moved to the El Paso area so I have lots of time on my hands! I also genuinely enjoy finding safe, enriching walking spots and making sure pets get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Your pet won’t just get a quick potty break - they’ll get patience, attention, affection, and someone who truly enjoys spending time with animals. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, so communication is a huge priority for me. I’ll keep you updated with photos, notes, and anything I notice while they’re in my care so you can feel relaxed and confident while you’re away. At the end of the day, I treat animals the same way I treat my own: with patience, kindness, and lots of love.
“I hired Evelyn to care for my two indoor cats because I sprained my ankle and cannot walk. She has been great with the cats, feeding them and giving them fresh water, and scooping the litter boxes each visit. I am so glad I found her at Rover.com, and I recommend her. She loves cats and is a good companion, too.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, including puppies and seniors, and I’m patient, reliable, and detail oriented. I focus on safety, comfort, and giving each dog personalized attention and love. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I keep a flexible schedule. I make time each day for walks, play, feeding, and check-ins, and I’m always able to adjust to each pet’s needs. I always create a safe and calm environment, whether I’m in my home or a client’s. I follow all routines exactly as instructed, keep a close eye on pets during walks or playtime, and make sure they’re never left in unsafe situations. I focus on building trust by being gentle, patient, and consistent, and I keep owners updated so they always know their pets are cared for.
About: I've helped take care of our family dog up until I became an owner of my own dog. I trained her all on my own, made sure she was kept up to date with vaccinations and remains healthy. I currently do not work so I am available any day of the week, and I am available at any given time to provide animals the necessary care they need. I make sure animals that I am taking care of are getting plenty of exercise and having a ton of fun while their family is away. I provide plenty of love especially through snuggles.

About: Hi! My name is Andrea and I am 23 years old. I have 2 cute fur babies myself, Bella and Tobi that love to play and run around our big yard especially when they have company! I enjoy caring for all pups and providing them the attention and care they need while they are away from home. It’s important to make them feel comfortable and it’s important for you, the parents to know they are in good hands. I don’t mind texting you pictures of your baby(s) while you are away. I enjoy playing with them making sure they run around and get all the exercise that they need. I also enjoy training and teaching them basic little tricks. Feel free to message me with any questions/concerns you may have ! (: Starting January 2022 I will be home full time except for short amounts of time during the day when I need to step out for small errands. I have a large fully fenced back yard where the pups can run around and play and each pet will have its assigned kennel area. Dogs will all be separated during feeding times to avoid trouble.

Jennifer is absolutely amazing! She loves and cares for my dogs as if they were her own, and it truly shows. My pups are always excited to see her and are completely comfortable in her care. One of my favorite things is the wonderful photos she sends during her drop-in visits—they’re always clear, adorable, and capture their personalities perfectly (she has a fantastic camera, too!). This is my second time booking with Jennifer, and I can confidently say she has become my go-to sitter. Knowing my dogs are loved, cared for, and happy while I’m away gives me complete peace of mind. I will absolutely continue booking with her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable. 🐾❤️

Leaving ANOTHER review! Absolutely amazing pet sitter! She always goes above and beyond for our pets, including providing compassionate care for our (unbeknownst to us) hospice dog. She even left a thoughtful gift. We are so grateful for her kindness, dedication, and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Horizon City with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
