About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals. When my kids were young, we rescued a Basset Hound along with two cats, Boo and Iggy. After transitioning to working from home, I began fostering dogs through a rescue organization. Since then, I’ve cared for five fosters—including two five-week-old puppies. Each dog came with their own unique personality and backstory, making every experience special. One of them became a foster fail, and I now share my home with Drake, a mixed Doberman Pinscher. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember! I’ve always had a strong connection to them .I started taking care of them around the age of 8-9 when my dad gifted my my first dog. This is where my dog caretaking journey began 🩵Years later, a little pregnant chihuahua came into our doorstep, we nursed her back to health since she was beat up and hungry .I took care of many puppy litters growing up ! Eventually we gave them away to loving homes because there were so many of them to care for. Years later a, my sister was gifted a mutt named Toulouse who lived for 8 years, buts sadly passed. Whenever my family was out, I was usually the one taking care of him. I made sure my dogs were well fed, safe, and happy. My dogs were mostly inside the house on severe weather days, for example during the hot days or rainy days .My dogs were supplied with freah clean water and food.(given occasional snacks ) They had their bed inside at all time so they can nap in the living room, most of the time in my room where I was . I tried to clean them daily to keep their fur from accumulating dirt. I never placed my pets in a endangering environment or situation, they were always kept safe. I’m very cautious when it comes to monitoring a dogs behavior, when my dogs were pups I had to keep an eye so they wouldn’t cause any mischief .
