“I can’t thank Andrea enough for all that she did for us. I am so grateful for her. Louie is an extremely anxious puppy and he fell in love with her!!! He definitely already misses her because he kept looking for her in the spare room. I will continue to book Andrea for every trip and you should consider her too. Andrea was very respectful and attentive. She constantly sent us updates and pictures. Thank You for all you did Andrea! You’re the best and we consider you family now! 🩷”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember! I’ve always had a strong connection to them .I started taking care of them around the age of 8-9 when my dad gifted my my first dog. This is where my dog caretaking journey began 🩵Years later, a little pregnant chihuahua came into our doorstep, we nursed her back to health since she was beat up and hungry .I took care of many puppy litters growing up ! Eventually we gave them away to loving homes because there were so many of them to care for. Years later a, my sister was gifted a mutt named Toulouse who lived for 8 years, buts sadly passed. Whenever my family was out, I was usually the one taking care of him. I made sure my dogs were well fed, safe, and happy. Currently looking for a job ! , I have lots of time in my hands, I love spending time and taking care of dogs or cats. My dogs were mostly inside the house on severe weather days, for example during the hot days or rainy days .My dogs were supplied with freah clean water and food.(given occasional snacks ) They had their bed inside at all time so they can nap in the living room, most of the time in my room where I was . I tried to clean them daily to keep their fur from accumulating dirt. I never placed my pets in a endangering environment or situation, they were always kept safe. I’m very cautious when it comes to monitoring a dogs behavior, when my dogs were pups I had to keep an eye so they wouldn’t cause any mischief .
“Bella was able to accommodate our last minute house sitting request during Easter weekend. She is very professional, responsive, and friendly. Thor absolutely adored her and it was wonderful receiving updates/photos. We look forward to booking with Bella soon for future services.”

“Nayeli was amazing. All our high maintenance fur babies loved her. She sent photos and updates every day, and kept up with all their crazy dietary and medical needs. Definitely exceeded expectations!”

About: I have had and taken care of animals since i can remember ! My family and i would frequently foster dogs and help find them homes. I love anything pet related even if it means getting down and dirty. I now own cats and love and care for them like my children. I am currently unemployed. I only do volunteering in the mornings, however if your pets needs care the morning I can adjust my schedule. “Andrea was an absolute delight with our fur babies! She has a caring and positive vibe to herself. She was attentive to my Zeus & Allie! Treated them as her very own which made our trip a lot better not having to worry about our fur babies back home. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Sitter, Andrea was amazing and always sent me updated photos of what my fur babies were doing. I would request her services again in the near future. Thank you so much Andrea!”

“We are extremely satisfied with the level of care that Toi provided to our dogs. This is only the 3rd time we have used this, and our 1st with her. We are thankful for everything she did. She took them on walks, stayed in touch, sent photos, and even threw out the trash on her last day. If we ever need to use Rover again, I hope she is available so we can know our dogs will be well taken care of. If you need someone to do Housesitting, I highly recommend Toi. She was great.”

“Jasmine was very attentive and conscientious of our house rules and dog care. She took great care of our 2 pups and home while we were out of town and I felt very at ease knowing she was with them. She was very easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend her! Thank you Jasmine 😊”

“Sanjuanita did an amazing job taking care of Raven! She took her on walks, let her play outside, and gave Raven her meds when needed. Sanjuanita also provided lots of pics and updates during my time away. I felt assured Raven was well taken care of. I would definitely reach out to her for next trip out of town!”

“Annelise did a fantastic job watching out for my three dogs and my hamster while I was away. She also took great care of my house, to include washing the sheets before she left. Thank you!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! From the moment we left, he kept us updated with great communication, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that he genuinely cared not only for our dog but also for our home. When we returned, everything was exactly as we left it—our house was spotless, and our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. He truly went above and beyond in every way, and it made all the difference knowing our home and pup were in such capable hands. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, communicative, and genuinely cares, we can’t recommend him enough. We will absolutely be booking with him again in the future!”

About: I’ve been a dog sitter for about 4 years now! I have taken care of many different breeds from chihuahuas to shiz tzu and even Great Danes! I promise to take care of your fur babies like my own! I’m currently a nursing student and go to class Tuesday and Thursday. I work nights mostly on Thursday-Saturday! So I would be honored to help after school and during the days! In my care dogs are walked regularly to ensure they get their energy out, I also groom them (brushing their hair), I would like to brush their teeth if they allow me to and of course take them to potty when they need to!
“Iztel was great with my young golden pup Jack. I received messages and photos everyday. Great communication! I would definitely recommend her for house sitting and for hanging with a puppy.”

About: We have two Corgis of our own: Nala and Jorah. We are a dual military household and I was a medic for 10 years, so have some medical background. I would LOVE to be able to love on others peoples pet when they can’t and need a sitter. I understand having to be away from home is hard especially when leaving something you love dearly behind, even if just for a short time. My family and I are very adventurous and love being outdoors. I enjoy taking my dogs on runs/walks and love playing fetch and tug-o-war. During the week I work normal 9-5 hours but live close to work and can come home during lunch to play and let the fur babies use the bathroom. I can do drop ins but they would have to be before and after I get off work. I also do house sitting but if it is far from my own home and I need to stay overnight, I might need to bring my two dogs with me if my family is not home to care for them. I only board one dog at a time so you can ensure your animal will not have to share my love or attention with any other dogs boarding. I have a fenced yard and two playful corgis. They can be kenneled if separation is needed but will follow suit with if our visitor can free roam or if they require kenneling. It will strictly be me caring for the animals. My boyfriend and the kids do enjoy cuddles though.
“Gizelle was amazing help and very communicative throughout her entire care of my babies. My children can be very picky and special but she took the time to get to know them and she was very attentive to their needs. From a last minute booking she definitely took on my request with no hesitation and she was very kind and respectful. I would love to have her care for my babies again. Thank you!”

About: I truly enjoy having animals. My dogs also have a lot of fun playing with new dogs. I have trained multiple dogs, as I pick up strays often. Also I am open to any accommodations needed for the animals. Currently I don’t work another job. I go to college online so I am home and available throughout the week. Animal care is in my daily life and it would save my husband some stress to be able to give the dogs back home haha. I have two dogs and a gecko. I play frequently with my shepherd and my pit is very lazy but enjoys cuddles. I enjoy playing taking videos and photos of the animals. I will crate train animals if need be, mostly if it gets too rowdy I will put my dogs in the kennel to have individual time.

“Tessa took great care of our boys and sent plenty of cute photos while caring for them! So happy to have found someone kind and gentle with them on such short notice! Communication was great and I would 100% book with Tessa again!”

About: I think what makes me different from other sitters is how much love and attention I give to every pet I care for! I’m super detail-oriented and always take the time to learn all about each pet’s unique quirks, favorite activities, and routines. I want them to feel right at home and totally spoiled while their owners are away! I'm reliable and love sending little updates with photos to keep everyone in the loop. You can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands. My goal is to make sure both pets and their humans feel super happy and stress-free! Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine since I'm home all day, except for a few hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays when I have class at UTEP. I make sure pets are never left alone for long, and I always prioritize their needs. Whether it's feeding, playing, or just giving them lots of love and attention, I’m always available to give them the care they deserve. Even when I'm out for those few hours, I make sure they have everything they need, so they’re never without company or comfort! In my home, I have two dogs and a cat, and they all get along really well! I make sure that all the pets feel comfortable and loved. I keep their routines consistent, whether it's feeding, walks, or playtime. For my clients' pets, I treat them like they're part of my family. I make sure to follow any specific instructions their owners have given, and I create a safe and loving environment. Whether the pets are in my home or theirs, I always focus on providing plenty of attention, exercise, and care so they feel happy and secure!
“Jacquiesce is an amazing pet sitter, I was able to enjoy my son’s wedding with no worries for our pets. I loved receiving updates and pictures, which made me feel assured all was going well. I recommend her highly to anyone.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Clint on Rover is $33.3 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Clint walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Clint maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Clint choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Clint. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
