About: As someone who has been a dog owner since childhood, I understand the importance of treating our furry friends with the utmost care and respect. I've had the pleasure of taking care of my friends' and family members' dogs on numerous occasions and always enjoy their company. Dogs truly are a member of the family and deserve to be treated as such. Rest assured that if you ever need someone to look after your dog, they will be in good hands with me. I'm available for pet sitting during the evenings. I'm currently working part-time and studying, but I love spending time with animals and would be happy to work with your furry friend. I will be providing the utmost care and attention to your dog while they're in the comfort of their own home. This way, they can feel secure and relaxed in a familiar environment, which can help to reduce any anxiety they may experience while you're away. I'm confident that your dog will be happy and healthy under my watchful eye!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the deep respect, love, and attention I give every animal in my care. I truly believe animals show us how to love, live in the moment, and connect with the world around us. Because of that, I see caring for pets as more than a job — it’s a responsibility I take seriously and a relationship I genuinely value. My dedication to their care, comfort, and protection makes me a strong advocate for their joy and safety. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, routine, and emotional needs so they feel secure, understood, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience caring for pets of all ages and temperaments, including energetic young pets who need patience, consistency, and exercise, as well as senior pets who benefit from gentleness, extra monitoring, slower walks, medication support, and calm companionship. Whether a pet wants to play, cuddle, explore, or simply rest quietly nearby, I adapt to what makes them happiest and most comfortable. My goal is always to create a peaceful, loving environment where pets are treated like family and owners feel complete peace of mind. Every day starts with pets first. The morning begins with fresh water, a snack if needed, and then straight outside to the fenced backyard for a potty break. For dogs, the next part of the routine is one of my favorites — a 3–4 mile walk to help them get exercise, stimulation, and a happy start to their day. After the walk, we settle in for breakfast if that’s part of their routine. Because I’m home throughout the day, pets are never left without attention for long. While I’m cleaning, kitchen prepping, or working around the house, I take frequent breaks for cuddles, playtime, and backyard visits. Whether it’s dogs or cats, I make sure every pet gets regular affection, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I truly enjoy creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I care with attention, intention and detail. I check in often and spend time just sitting with and talking to. I give So much LOVE.
“Fantastic. Can't say enough about her handling of what we thought was an unusual situation. An obviously pre-owned cat took up residence on our screen porch and while eager to be fed, was really craving attention. A mellow, neutered, ear-tipped critter looking for lap time couldn't be turned out even though we were leaving on a family trip. Blayne fed, watered and spent time with Felix, (yeah, we named him) while we were gone. Blayne will be seeing Felix again.”
About: I just love animals just like everyone else and am looking to help out. I’ve cared for animals the majority of my life as my parents had that responsibility put on me, I’ve house sit animals plenty times before. I’m available pretty much always, I’m taking the summer to rest as I am a very busy college student but I need something to keep me busy. I don’t have the most optimal space to care for a pet at my place but at your place I am very flexible and willing to accommodate as needed.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was in middle school. Everyone in my neighborhood asks me to dog sit and I love it!! I make my schedule around the pets I care for, they are my first priority! I promise to make time for whatever the pup I’m taking care of needs. I have a fenced yard and one medium sized pup at home. I love to play with dogs so the more playful the better! I also live right in front of the desert and love to walk down there everyday!
About: Animals have been a central part of my life for more than 30 years. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses, and I am a Certified Animal Cruelty Investigator through my previous professional work. I also spent over 10 years involved in animal rescue, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience caring for animals with a wide variety of needs, temperaments, and backgrounds. Now retired and home full-time, I have the flexibility to provide attentive, reliable, and loving care for your pets. I understand that pets are cherished family members, and I treat every animal in my care with the same kindness, patience, and respect that I would want for my own. Whether your pet needs companionship, exercise, special attention, or simply a caring presence while you're away, you can feel confident knowing they are in experienced and compassionate hands. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets and providing them with exceptional care and attention. I am retired. Home most of the time. I have a super flexible schedule. I am an outdoor person. I love taking the pups for a walk to the river. I like to have a good routine with my pets. In the summer we get up early to go for a walk before the sun get's too warm. I have a nice fenced yard with shade. We can spend plenty outside. If I am at your home, I will follow your detailed schedule.
About: Hello all! Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! A little about me is that I am a huge animal lover (especially a dog lover) so much so that I began watching dogs for many family and friends and from there I became the go-to dog sitter in my area! What I enjoyed about it was spending time with different breeds and learning about their unique personalities. So, I decided to gain clientele once I heard about rover. I now have a pup that is a little over 3 years old and he is very sweet and loves all people and gets along with other dogs. My goal for your pets stay is for you and your pup to feel comfortable and safe, as I would want for my own dog. I send various updates and am open to special requests. I promise you, your pup will be in great hands! I work from home with a flexible schedule-so I am completely free to care for your pets most of the day. Working from home gives me the flexibility to accommodate to your dogs schedule by making sure they stick to a similar routine that they are used to at your home. I have a very friendly pup that would love to be friends with your pup! We have a fenced in yard for them to enjoy. I am very knowledgeable on body language when it comes to dogs socializing together and will never leave your dog unattended with mine just to be extra cautious. However; a meet and greet is recommended before booking overnight stays to ensure our pups will do well together. Still unsure if I’m the right choice for your pet? No worries! I am available to take any questions you may have!
About: Hi, I’m a graduate college student at NMSU ! Majoring in environmental science hence the headline, therefore I love nature. I have been around dogs since the age of 6. My first dog was a Rottweiler and I loved him with all my heart until he passed of old age. Now I have 2 Havanesse, small and energetic and I love it. Dogs are a mans best friends and I can be your pets friend too!! Your dog and I will go to the park and play all day or just have a peaceful stroll. And if we have a sit-in the stomach rub will be endless along with some fun (no messing up the house of course;) ). I’m super friendly and personable so please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time with any questions. These are your dogs and I want to do everything I can for them. I’m currently back home from college with one more year left. So I have a pretty lenient job and will be able to adjust often. I prioritize the safety and well-being of pets by adhering to any specific care instructions provided by clients. This includes maintaining a clean and pet-friendly environment, following dietary guidelines, providing regular exercise and playtime, and ensuring constant supervision to prevent any accidents or mishaps.
“Rachel is sweet and so kind to the pets. I felt very comfortable going out of town knowing she would come check in on my cats. Excellent first experience with the app and Rachel’s services.”

About: Hi there! I’m Kris, a passionate animal lover with 30 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, belly rubs, or cozy naps on the couch, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. While I am new to the Rover app. I am not new to giving you peace of mind that your pet (of any size breed, fur or scales) will be taken care of. I work in the medical field so am comfortable with any special needs or medications should the need arise. I am also a certified (not officially) belly and head scratcher of all animals and am more than capable of playing fetch at great lengths. I will make sure to communicate with you on how your pet is doing, and am happy to provide pictures if requested. I currently work full time two days a week in the medical field. This allows for ample time off to walk, play, or drop in to check on your four legged friends. My schedule is flexible and I don’t mind holidays as long as I am in town. I currently live in an apartment so dog sitting in my home is extremely limited at this time. I am more than happy to schedule a meet and great to get to know you and your loved ones needs and style. I am also happy to take your dog out on walks, have playtime, and any needed cuddle time to help you feel better when you’re away.

About: I grew up with cats and various small pets and always house-sat for my neighbors and family. I've given medication before and am comfortable with timid animals. I've always volunteered at local animal shelters and cannot get enough animal time! I work from home 6am-3pm, but I am able to work from anywhere as long as there's wifi. I can make drop-ins during my lunch and use the afternoon to hang out for longer periods. I have two large dogs that are timid, so I understand how to introduce myself to a nervous pup. I don't mind cleaning up litter boxes or critter cages and am comfortable giving medications.
About: My experience with dogs comes from raising and training puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as my own dog training job! My skills also include handling and giving medications due to interning in vet med. I work with dogs every day of my life due to my line of work. This care may include getting energy out or behavioral issues. I am very eager to make sure that basic needs are met before anything. I also want to ensure some time to taking care of energy as well as affection!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
