“I had a weird situation in which the person caring for my animals abandoned them. Michelle was amazing and accommodating, went to my home after maintenence unlocked my place, cleaned up the mess my stressed out old man kitty made in a tub because he was alone for 4 days. Took care of him and the other 3 at the last minute for a week so I didn't have to leave my job (loose my job) and fly home. I was the most stressed out I'd been in years! But seeing the pics she took of my babies eating fresh wet food and playing every day helped me so much. 10000% recommend her and appreciate her and Rover for being here!! This is great app. Being able to see them check in and out, they can post photos and communicate like texting. Really great and will use again instead of depending on family!!”

About: I’ve owned and trained bully breed dogs for over twelve years. I’ve trained two hyperglycemia service dogs for myself, plus four others for an agency in the last 8 years. I have experience with medium and large breed dogs, and I have a dog friendly home, with only one dog of my own, who is extremely friendly to other dogs, and not territorial. There is a park in immediate walking distance, and safe areas to walk depending on needs. Part time roommates are adults, and have experience with large dogs as well. I work both remotely from home and in the field, but am home for 3 day weekends, my schedule reflects when I am home. When I am home, I do not leave if there is an animal here. I have a two story townhouse, with one full time medium sized dog, who is pet friendly and not territorial. My back yard is rock wall, 5 feet minimum, there are no side gates. Downstairs is all tile or hard floor, my dog has free access to the furniture. All accessible areas of the house are pet proof, doors to the laundry room and garage are closed full time. I only board one dog at a time, and require a meet and greet at the local park to confirm no aggressive behavior towards my dog. Dogs for boarding must be house trained and spayed/neutered. City ordinances apply, dogs must be microchipped and have a current rabies vaccination. Please provide enough food for the entire boarding period. Your dog will be fed on the schedule you provide, and will be fed separately from my dog. Fresh water bowls are on each floor of the house and in the back yard. Back yard has a shaded porch. Dogs boarded will have an exercise and feeding schedule agreed on in writing. I can provide as much or as little exercise as needed. Dogs who may be an escape risk can be taken outside on a leash if needed. A harness (not just a collar) is required if the dog is to be walked or taken to the park. Owners must supply a crate if the dog is trained to sleep in a crate. Otherwise it is highly recommended but not required if you bring a dog bed or blanket with your dog’s scent on it for them to sleep on. Unless otherwise requested, the dog will be allowed to pick where they want to sleep, but I’m perfectly ok with them sleeping in my bedroom. My dog normally sleeps on my bed with me most nights, and there is room for another dog. For drop-in feeding/walking, I will accommodate the dog’s normal schedule as closely as I can. I do require a properly fitting harness to be supplied if I will be walking a dog outside their home. I strongly prefer the dog have an identifying tag plus their rabies tag on their collar or harness if I am going to walk them outside the owner’s property. Dog walking/drop in/house sitting clients: I require a meet and greet with the owner and their dog at their house. I will NOT bring my dog to those types of bookings. Overnight dog/house sitting clients, my schedule will automatically be updated for days that I am in town, unless otherwise discussed I will be at your house the entire evening until the following morning, but I can make myself available to work from your house during the day as well.

About: I’m Angelina and I’m a 25 year old, fully vaccinated, film enthusiast who lives in Las Cruces, NM, and loves animals! There’s nothing I’d love more than to hang out with some great animals; they have all my attention when they’re in my care. My animal photography has gotten pretty sharp too so expect some nice pictures of your pets! I’ve picked up a lot of experience with elderly dogs with discomforts and young ones with lots of energy. I’ve had years of experience learning about animal care and I’ve been on Rover for almost four years now and I’ve met so many dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. Sometimes they can be a bit tricky— I sat a cat whose behavior would mysteriously shift, she got extremely aggressive after being quite nice earlier in the day. I used a towel like a matador to get her into the room with her litter box, called her owner, and carefully provided her with food and water. Sometimes animals can be challenging as well as fun and I’m up for it. I’ve had a kitty of my own since 2018 and she’s taught me a lot of about being a care provider. I’m looking forward to meeting your pets, walking them, and caring for them! Sitting is something I’ve always been able to fit into my schedule well. Any day of the week, depending on your pets care needs and your location, I can go about my life while paying close attention to them. I am always paying attention to their body language and behavior. You can rest assured that they won’t be ignored while you’re gone. I’ve cared for a few dogs with special needs, as well.

About: I've been caring and loving all sorts of animals for around 10+ years and my friends and family always rely on me to care for their animals. I treat every animal I take care of as they are apart of the family. I'm currently not employed, so my schedule is always looking for animals to take care of. Monday through Thursday will work, but Friday through Sunday are the best days for me to take care of animals. I have a big yard with plenty of grass that is fenced in for my 2 amazing Siberian Huskeys and my 3 adorable cats to feel at home in. I also have a pretty decent sized house for my already pampered animals.

He has followed our instructions to the letter and we have always come home to happy girls with clean cages and full food troughs.
