We loved Ami! And Dorito did too, hes very low maintenance and even though we had recently lost our baby Odie, she made us feel at peace by the care she offered. We would recommend her!

Jess did a great job with our 2 cats! I loved that she kept me informed with pictures and followed all my feeding/care instructions to a T (one cat is diabetic). Would 100% have her stop in again and feel like my pets would be in excellent hands

About: Hi I'm aimee !! your pet's new favorite sitter. I'm a huge animal lover with a home full of personality-my senior dog who requires extra help, my two lovable cats one being quiet and other loving to cuddle 💗. So trust me, I understand that every pet is different, and that's exactly what I love most. I care for my pets as if they are real children cause they are all just so precious to me. im very gentle and patient with them as I have a senior dog who needs careful supervision and care, hes very sensitive to loud noises and what he eats so im always watching him like a hawk and making sure hes okay. While I also having a hyper cat who loves running around and making noise so im great at balancing two different personalities at once. I pay close attention to signals and body language, along with what they eat or drink since I know fur babies can be really sensitive and I know what is good and isnt for their health. Im very detail oriented. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or has a custom schedule. Please also let me know if they need any assistance doing anything such as jumping also where they are/arent allowed or if they have any habits youd like me to attend to. A typical day of fun would be makings sure the pets follow their normal routine. Then the fun would began !! We would typically go on a walk around the neighborhood or a friendly dog park. We would play catch, run around, sniff new scents maybe meet new people if the pet social or allowed. Then get some awarding healthy safe treats !! staying inside the home would be similar, except we would play inside the backyard, or inside. Throwing and catching toys, cuddling while dog enjoys a treat. I am currently working full time as a pet sitter. I haven availability all day everyday and will accept same day booking in case of emergency and if you just want to go somewhere last minute !! I care for my pets as if they are real children cause they are all just so precious to me. im very gentle and patient with them as I have a senior dog who needs careful supervision and care, hes very sensitive to loud noises and what he eats so im always watching him like a hawk and making sure hes okay. About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and ages over the years—from helping pups transition off their mother’s milk to supporting senior dogs through their final vet visits. I’ve experienced many different situations with dogs, each one teaching me something new. No matter how much time I’ve spent with them, I always stay open to learning and growing alongside them. I currently work full-time with a school district, with hours until 6 PM Monday through Friday. During the school year, my weekends are fully open for pet care, and I’ll also be available on weekdays whenever we are on school breaks or vacations. I treat my cats and dog as if they were my own children, and I would extend that same love and care to your pets as well. From administering medication and accommodating picky eaters to playtime, fresh water, and all the details that go into attentive pet care—I handle it all with patience and dedication.

About: ⭐️Description⭐️ I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments; anxious dogs, seniors, puppies, and pets that needed medication. I’ve pet sat German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Border Collie puppies, a Welsh Corgi, a Poodle, and many mixed breeds. I also have experience with cats and kittens. I’m comfortable handling dogs that need extra care. My own dog, Molly (a Lhasa Apso), had epilepsy, so I’m experienced with seizures, medication schedules, and staying calm during emergencies. I’ve also worked through behavioral challenges. One of my Chihuahuas was a rescue with aggression issues, and through patience and consistency, she became calm and affectionate. My goal is always to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for while you’re away. —————————————— 🌟🐕 Services 🐈🌟 —————————————— 🚪 Drop-ins 🚪 I’ll follow your instructions carefully, make sure your pet is fed, drinking water, comfortable, and of course spending time with them so they don't feel alone. 🦮 Walks 🦮 Walks will follow your preferred route, distance, and pace to match your dog's need for whatever you see as sufficient. 🏠 House Sitting 🏠 I'll respect your home and your pet's routine. I can study during downtime and stay present with your pet to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for overnight. 📸 Updates 📸 You can always expect updates, photos, videos, and messages. I'm also happy to clarify anything or adjust care instructions as needed! 🕒 Availability 🕒 I'm an aviation student currently doing online ground school, so I have a very flexible schedule and I'm available most days of the week. If I'm ever unavailable, l'll let you know in advance. I’d ask if your pet has any sensitivities (boundaries that might cause aggression if overstepped), if there’s any specific routines your pet needs that aren’t specified, or behaviors I should need to know about ahead of time.

Val is absolutely wonderful! She's trustworthy, prompt, and thoughtful. Most importantly, she took fabulous care of my shy and nervous kitty when I was out of town. Val sent me the cutest photos during each visit, and my cat loved Val right away--always a good sign! I'll definitely be asking her to catsit the next time I need help.

About: I have had all kind of pets all my life. I would like to take care of your pet. I am very friendly and a pet lover! I am currently a SAHM and after August I will be available all mornings and be able to walk, play and take care of your pet. I have a wall rock and fenced yard. It is a small rectangle and it is protected since I have a rabbit and a 12years old beagle. Both have their home inside and outside. Beagle is friendly! But rabbit will stay in his cage meanwhile :)

Nadine was quick to respond. She took care of my two cats, one of whom requires oral medication twice a day. Nadine came over before our trip to meet the boys and see how I give meds. She was flexible with our scheduling and had great communication. Will re-book.

About: I have been around dogs and cats my entire life and have always had pets in my home since I was a child. I truly love all animals and feel very comfortable caring for pets of different sizes, ages, and personalities. ❤️ I currently have my own dog, so I understand daily routines, responsibility, and how important it is for pets to feel safe, happy, and loved. I started dog sitting for family members around age 15, caring for pets of all sizes and temperaments, including feeding, walking, playtime, and overnight stays. This gave me hands on experience maintaining routines and understanding different pet personalities. I am also comfortable administering basic medications such as oral pills and topical treatments, always following owner instructions carefully. I worked at PetSmart as a dog bather, where I gained experience safely bathing dogs, handling different coat types, and keeping pets calm and comfortable during grooming. This helped me develop patience, gentle handling skills, and the ability to read animal behavior. I treat every pet like my own and focus on creating a calm, loving, and safe environment. I’m reliable, attentive, and provide regular updates and photos so pet parents feel at ease. 🐶🐱🫶🏻 I work full time, but I’m available for weekday walks and weekend pet sitting when you need someone to care for your pets while you’re away. 🩷 A typical day in my care is calm, relaxed, and focused on making pets feel comfortable and loved. I enjoy spending time with them throughout the day, whether that’s relaxing together, watching TV, or simply keeping them company so they don’t feel alone. 🥹 I make sure to follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I also take time for enrichment and exercise, whether that’s playing outside, going for walks, or engaging them with toys. For pets who enjoy it, I also offer plenty of affection and cuddles, while always respecting their boundaries and letting them set the pace. My goal is to create a safe, low stress environment where they feel happy, secure, and cared for. ❤️

About: I am a dependable and active pet caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I have always taken care of dogs and cats since I was 9 years old. I myself have a golden retriever mixed with a great pyrenees and a rescued tabby cat. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to treating every pet as if they were my own. As an exercise science student, I understand the importance of physical activity, routine, and overall well-being, which helps me provide engaging walks and attentive care. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply companionship, I adapt my care to meet their individual needs. I am also patient with puppies who are still learning routines and can provide gentle, attentive care for senior dogs who may require a slower pace and extra attention. I prioritize safety, communication, and consistency. I will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to create a positive experience for both pets and their owners through trustworthy and compassionate care. I'm currently working a part-time job as a lifeguard; however, my schedule is very flexible, and I am willing to accommodate same-day requests. I do not allow dogs in my house because my own dog is not very friendly with other dogs. However, in my client's home, I would prefer to meet the dog with the owner before taking care of the dog.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
