About: Hello, I'm Rachel! A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME: Hi everyone! I’m Rachel. I have one amazing Husky Lab mix named Maya. I pet-sit and dog walk through Rover because I enjoy it SO MUCH! It's so much fun to be able to meet other dogs (and other animals and people!) through Rover. I have over 20 years of experience living with and loving all sorts of pets and hope to keep pet sitting and dog walking for years to come. About: I'll take your dog out for some fun and enriching exercise while peacefully training them to calmly follow along at your side with no pulling, whining, or reacting! I am a dog trainer, field biologist, and academic coach driven to lead people towards a mutually fulfilling life with their dogs, and to share my knowledge and wonder of nature to promote stewardship and love for all sentient beings. I have cared for family pets (cats, dogs, fish, rodents, rabbits, etc) throughout my life, and I have performed extensive animal husbandry during my PhD in Animal Behavior and Ecology (I have even trained and rehabbed hummingbirds!). I began formally dog walking and training in January 2025 and have helped each of my clients transform their relationships with their dogs by learning how to efficiently and peacefully communicate. I hope to: 1) refresh your dog's basic obedience and floppy leash walking skills; 2) help you be aware of your dog's body language, and your own habits; and 3) empower you to become the leader your dog needs! I am happy to offer free nail checks and trimming! 1% of all proceeds will go to Blackhat Humane Society, a Navajo Nation rescue/ foster organization where I adopted my service dog Louie from! I am currently based in Albuquerque, and I have a very flexible work and life schedule, so I can likely accommodate requests for walks at any time and frequency! I have an extensive experience house and pet (and plant!) sitting for family and friends, and I always treat clients' dogs and homes with utmost respect. I don’t get enough bookings from people I know, so I’m joining Rover to hopefully get some more opportunities. My background includes working at an animal hospital, where I was primarily responsible for boarding dogs and cats of various sizes and ages. In client homes, I am trusted with overnight stays and have consistently managed multiple animals without any issues, ensuring they are comfortable, secure, and well-cared-for in their familiar surroundings. About: I've handled and taken care of many pets for a long time, ever since I was in elementary school. I have primarily worked at an animal hospital with veteranarians in the clinic while assisting them, administering medication when needed, managing the boarding facility, and deep cleaning. I've worked with dogs and cats from bottle fed all the way to senior care. I'm also very experienced with bird care which is a plus. I'd be more than happy to give your loving friend the care it deserves, while you're away! Currently studying college in online classes, but I can make arrangements to help with your pet's needs, and provide any care for them. Flexibly and easily. About: I’ve been taking care of pets, both my own and my family members, for 8 years. I was 10 years old when I got my first dog and he is the most calm natured and loving dog I’ve ever met. My family members regularly ask me to pet sit for them when they are busy or go out of town. I’m a high school senior and I need to raise money to afford college tuition. I get out of school at 1:30 every day and am free on weekends so I will almost always have time to care for your little babies :) I have a 1.5 acre fenced in yard so any pets will have lots of space to run and play. If they are allowed, I’ll give them treats. We have many toys for cats and dogs so they will always have something to entertain them.

About: I’ve always connected with animals and have a deep sense of understand them. I’ve always been great at training them from a young age. I’ve always had dogs from the time that I got my own place which was when I was 18. My job is flexible, I work full time but can adjust my schedule as needed. I am able to take care of your pups from your home, do check ins or walks as needed. My dog has a high fence outside is able to go in and out as needed through doggy door. There is someone always home as well to keep company. If I take your pups with me they would also have the same access, with walks, a crate is also an option
