Depending on the proximity of your home to my employer I may be able to conduct afternoon drop in visits. Early morning feeding or medication schedules are no problem! While at your home your pets safety is my first priority. I will never leave your pet unattended in the yard and make a habit of checking gates and fences while we’re outside. I will never open the front door in a manner that could allow a pet to escape and will not invite any unauthorized guests or my personal pets into your home. I like to provide picture updates to you throughout the stay so you can rest easy knowing your pets are happy and healthy. I do prefer to have written care instructions to reference so I make sure I’m taking the best possible care of your pets.

However, I can make an exception for some early morning check-ins or walks. Just feel free to ask first! Because I work from home, I am more flexible when it comes to extended periods of pet-sitting as long as I have a quiet place to work. Whatever instructions and guidance I am given I am happy to respect and adhere to those rules when it comes to being in someone else's space or if they are coming to my house. In my own home, it is calm, quiet, with a gated area in the back patio with a garden. The animals are free to move about in the house. I do not have a backyard per se but the back patio is a decent size and secure for dogs to do their business and relax for a bit. I do not have animals of my own at the moment.
