“Thank you so much alexandria for everything. Without you not sure what would happen with shadow. So appreciate all you have done. Cannot tell you how much it has meant. We will probably need help again and hope u will be available.”
About: I've raised 6 dogs, 3 cats, and a flock of chickens over the last 15 years, and have also pet sat for friends and family extensively. My husband and I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats in our family, and two of the pups are certified therapy dogs whom we take to a memory care facility to visit the residents every other week. Before starting therapy dog work, I volunteered at the local animal shelter as a dog walker for 12 years, giving me a wide breath of experience with different dog breeds and personalities. I have a soft spot in my heart for pitties because they're such cuddle bugs, but have grown to love all types of dogs, from crazy energetic border collies to lazy couch potatoes to little grumpy old men. My husband and I adopted a 14 year old pup from the shelter to give him a retirement home, so I also have experience with the extra care that our senior citizens need. Besides the typical cats and dogs, I'd be happy to take care of any other critters you have, from little rodentia like hamsters and guinea pigs to outdoor livestock like chickens and goats. For me - as for you - pets are truly family members, and I look forward to meeting your family and taking the best care of them while you're off on your adventures. I am currently transitioning from a two-decade-long career in engineering science research to pursuing a dream to start a farmstead. As I get my farm off the ground, I have ample time to share my love of animals with your family. My schedule is completely flexible, so I am able to adapt to what you need and what works best for your critters - whether it is dropping in once or twice a day to feed, love, and play with everyone, taking the pups on a mid-day walk, or staying overnight if they need extra care. If you require a specialized arrangement, let me know, and I can make it happen! In my personal experience, many dogs and most cats are more comfortable in their own environment, so I would prefer to come to you and take care of everyone in your home; however, if you'd prefer to board your pups with me, let's talk about options. When I come to you for a drop-in visit, I will spend a minimum of 30-60 minutes feeding everyone, playing in your house or fenced in yard, and giving lots of love. For dog-walk visits, we'll go for a 30-60 minute walk around the neighborhood; if you have more than two dogs, we'll go in rounds of 1-2 dogs per walk. If you'll be gone for an extended trip and/or your animals need some extra attention, I can stay at your house overnight. In addition to the primary responsibility of caring for the animals, I am also willing to do any other little chores you need taken care of, such as watering plants and feeding the fish. I'm very flexible and will work with you to ensure everyone gets the care they need. No matter which approach we take, I'll send you regular text updates and plenty of pictures, and will always be available by phone if something comes up.
“Elliot was excellent! She took the time to meet with me before taking care of my shy cat to understand how best to care for him. Patient, attentive and not intrusive with the little guy, I found a happy, healthy cat when I came home. I definitely recommend her.”

About: I have been pet sitting since my early teens watching all my neighbors' animals. I've always been an animal lover and you can see it quickly in how your animals will respond to meeting me! I've adopted several dogs and cats in my time, and I am well versed in dealing with most conditions, including giving medication to an unhappy pet. My pet services aren't just about making sure your pet is alive, feed, and pottied. Their emotional well-being is just as important to me and I take the time to play and get to know each of my pet clients. I currently am a stay at home mom and am available to check in on your pets throughout the day and evening as needed throughout the week. I'd love to have continuous clients so that I can better serve you and your pets as I get to know them each better! The services offered by me would be in your home (aka your pet's safe space) or on walks in nearby neighborhoods or parks. I will take the time to make sure your pet is played and socialized in the manner they are most used to!
“Heaven was fantastic for drop in kitty visits. She has excellent communication skills and asked pertinent questions about the cats. I absolutely loved the cleverly written daily report cards with pictures/video!! She also checked the mail (which was supposedly on hold) and collected it each day without being asked. I swear my house was cleaner when I arrived home (no cat litter or cat hair on the floor). I highly recommend Heaven for drop in kitty care. Heaven is reliable, communicative, and compassionate. Also, she met my reactive dog and instantly calmed her down.”

“We continue to be pleased by Emily's services as she took care of our cats while away. She was communicative and punctual as usual. She will remain our top choice for drop-in care!”

“Jessica was a great cat sitter! All instructions were followed and she was great at communicating. Skittles seemed very happy upon my return! I would book with her again.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to wise seniors, and have volunteered with shelters to help care for rescues and strays. These experiences taught me patience, trust, and how to make every dog feel safe and loved. I provide more than just care – I offer companionship, attention, and a calm space where pets can relax, play, and feel at home while you’re away. I offer flexible scheduling tailored to your pet’s needs. If they require a strict routine for medical care or simply to maintain balance at home, I make sure feedings, walks, and care happen right on time – keeping your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable. I share my home with six dogs – from a senior rescue enjoying her golden days to a big, lovable “Mack truck” of a male and a few playful youngsters in between. My yard is fully fenced, plus I have a smaller shaded area for extra comfort. I recommend a meet and greet to ensure the best fit and a happy, safe stay for your pet.
“She handled my miscreant kitties beautifully (they get to go outside and sometimes don’t come in when planned but this was not an issue with Shelly)! I returned home to happy cats and that’s what it’s all about.”

“Max was fantastic watching our two cats for a week. He was very responsive, reaching out when he had questions and sending pictures and updates each day. We highly recommend him for cat care and he will remain high on our list for future rover sittings.”

“I contacted Olivia only a few days before I was in need of someone to take care of my beloved cat, Zayda. She responded right away, came to do a meet-and-greet that same evening, and right away I knew that I could trust her with my baby. After booking her initially for drop-in visits, I asked her if she'd be willing to adjust the booking to staying overnight instead because I worried about my cat being lonely and scared of fireworks. Olivia didn't hesitate a second - she understood my needs and completely accommodated the change on short notice. She sent photos twice a day and communicated well. I am very grateful to have found her.”

“I am so happy with the service I received from Lisa! Everything that needed to be done was completed and my house was just as I left it. I feel blessed that I had such a skilled pet sitter and loved all the pictures. Getting the information everyday helped put my mind at ease that my very old kitty was in the best hands.”
About: As a retired employee of Sandia National Laboratories with a Department of Energy security clearance, I have a lifelong passion for animals, particularly golden retrievers. I currently share my home with a rescued cat and enjoy daily walks with my pal Dixie, a very clever rescue dog in Sandia Heights. My experience includes providing companionship to individuals, including a recent stay with a lady experiencing mild dementia. I am available as needed. As a retiree, I am available most days to provide pet care, including walks and cuddles. While I am unable to have a dog of my own, I welcome the opportunity to care for your furry friend. I specialize in providing comprehensive in-home pet care, offering personalized companionship, feeding, and walking services tailored to each pet's unique needs. A fenced backyard is available for supervised activities, although the gated section has wide openings.
