“Rosalia cared for our dog Winnie for 3 weeks while we took a dream vacation. It was pretty hard for us to feel good about leaving Winnie for so long, but Rosalia made it easy with daily updates. It was clear to us that Winnie was having a great time, which enabled us to have a good time on our trip. Thanks Rosalia!”

“Maellen took such sweet and gentle care of our senior lady. Pup had just had abdominal surgery and we were so nervous to leave her. Maellen was wonderful with the extra after surgery care and extra needs that go along with the extra encouragement needed for an older dog to do anything. Will definitely book again. Just can’t say enough about how fantastic the care was.”

“We could not be more grateful to have found Marlena for our first River experience! Especially on a last minute notice! Leaving our doggos with someone new is always a bit stressful, but she instantly won them (& us) over & treated our dogs like her own. Thank you, Joshua!!! My wife and I are very grateful for the care you gave Mocha!!!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong cat lover and a dedicated cat owner. Since becoming an adult, I’ve had the joy of caring for my own cat every day. Living with a cat has taught me to understand their unique personalities, respect their boundaries, and recognize the importance of creating a calm, stress-free environment. I have experience with daily feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, grooming, and providing plenty of love and attention while respecting each cat’s individual comfort level. I understand that every cat has different routines and preferences, and I’m happy to follow your instructions carefully to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. My husband is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, and together we have a stable, loving, and pet-friendly home. We know how much trust it takes to leave your beloved cat with someone else, and we take that responsibility seriously. I’ll provide regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your cat is receiving attentive, compassionate care. My goal is to make your cat feel as comfortable and loved as they do at home.

“Christina was great! She kept us updated throughout our pups stay. Bree had a great time with her other boarder pup. Christina was very professional and we ( and Bree) liked her so much we are interested in setting up regular doggy daycare days!”

About: Hi, I’m Sierra – your pet’s new best friend! 🐾 Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet I care for like one of my own. I have two sweet Pitbull-Lab mixes at home who’ve taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. I have hands-on experience with administering medication (oral and topical) and even diapering pets who need a little extra care. Whether your pet is young, senior, energetic, shy, or needs special attention, I’m confident in creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for them. I proudly service Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Los Lunas, Bernalillo, and parts of the East Mountain villages. I’m happy to work with your schedule, send regular updates and photos, and make sure your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. If you’re looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented, I’m your person. Let’s set up a meet and greet! Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. I have two Pitbull-Lab mixes who keep me on my toes! Between walks, playtime, feedings, and cuddles, I’m used to building my day around pets and their needs. Taking care of other people’s pets just feels like a natural extension of what I already do. I’m flexible with my schedule and love being around animals, so whether it’s a quick check-in, a long walk, or overnight care, I’m happy to make it work! When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I stick to your pet’s usual routine with feeding, walks, meds, playtime, and all the cuddles they want! I’m also happy to bring in mail, water plants, and keep things tidy while you’re away. Whether it’s a quick visit or an overnight stay, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home.
“Yet again, Autumn went above and beyond in taking care of my beloved cat, Zayda. She sent awesome pictures that showed how well they were getting along, and stayed an extra night when I had to change my travel plans. I trust Autumn completely with my animals, and my animals are my life. I know that she loves my fur kids, too. Very grateful to have found her!”

“Mira did an amazing job taking care of my cat Malcolm while I was away! She is so kind and really cared about Malcolm's routines. She provided detailed and thoughtful updates and photos for each visit. She was able to administer eye drops for my cat which really put my mind at ease! Thank you so much, Mira!”

“Max followed the instructions, was communicative, and, though my cat didn’t seem to warm up too much, Wybie seems happy and healthy, which is all I hope for at the end of a trip.”

About: My love for animals started long ago, and cats have always held a special place in my heart. I genuinely relate to them — their quiet intelligence, their independence, their softness, their quirks. Honestly, I’ve always felt like I understand cats on a level that comes more naturally to me than most human interactions. Cats thrive when someone respects their boundaries, reads their subtle cues, and honors their routines. That’s exactly how I care for them. I pay attention to the details: the way they flick their tail when they’re curious, the slow blink that says they trust you, the little habits that make them feel safe and seen. When I care for your cat, they’re not just being looked after — they’re being understood. I create a calm, predictable environment where they can explore, nap, play, and feel completely at ease. If you’re looking for someone who truly gets cats — someone who sees your feline friend as a whole personality, not just a pet — I would love to care for your best friend. Dogs-Dogs love me because I meet them exactly where they are. I move slowly for the shy ones, celebrate the goofy ones, and give the anxious ones a calm place to breathe. I pay attention to their signals—the soft tail wag, the hopeful glance, the little lean that says “I trust you.” I speak their language with patience, consistency, and kindness. They know I’m safe. They know I listen. They know I care. And in return, they give me their whole hearts—one wag, one nuzzle, one happy trot at a time. I have a widely-varied flexible schedule and would have plenty of time to care for your cat or dog as needed. Pet care blends seamlessly into my daily and weekly rhythm because I already live a life built around consistency, calm energy, and being home throughout the day. Between running my home bakery and keeping a steady household routine, I’m present — really present — which means animals get attention, companionship, and structure instead of rushed check‑ins. Caring for a pet in their own home is all about honoring their comfort zone. I step into their space gently, keeping everything familiar — their routines, their favorite spots, their feeding schedule, and the little habits that make them feel secure. I move slowly, respectfully, and with the kind of calm energy animals naturally respond to. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding and medication to preferred walking routes or playtime rituals. I pay attention to the details: how they greet me, how they settle, what makes them curious, and what helps them relax. I keep their environment tidy, their water fresh, and their day predictable. While I’m there, your pet gets companionship, structure, and genuine affection — not rushed check‑ins. I stay present, tuned in, and mindful of their emotional needs. Whether it’s a cat who prefers quiet company or a dog who thrives on routine and reassurance, I adapt to their personality and pace. Your home stays just as you left it, and your pet stays in the place where they feel safest. My goal is simple: to make sure your best friend feels understood, cared for, and completely at ease until you return.
“Jessica is so flexible with the schedule . She was patient with one of our kitties who is bit territorial towards her . She also helped out with watering the indoor plants.”

About: My family has had a cat since 2017, and I have continued to gain hands-on experience through caring for family pets. My sister also has a cat that has lived with us for the past two years and now stays with us during the summer. While most of my experience has been with family pets, I have consistently been responsible for their daily care, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and supporting recovery needs after surgery. I genuinely enjoy caring for cats and take their well-being seriously. I also believe cats are often misunderstood and are truly some of the most affectionate and rewarding animals to care for.
About: I have grown up with animals all my life. I had 2 dogs and 2 cats growing up and I currently have a German Shepard, Weiner dog, and 2 flat faced cats. I also have experience taking care of fish and reptiles. I just moved to ABQ from Atlanta. I love animals and would love to continue taking care of them out here. I am free for drop in visits or house sitting. I would be able to drop by your house, feed the dogs and take them out to play and use the restroom. As for my own dogs, I train them myself with no shock collar or crate.

About: I’ve dog sat for most of my life, I have a love for all dogs and deeply believe dogs are family and should be treated and cared for as such I currently work full time on the weekends so I am usually off on weekdays and would love some company cuddling on the couch or on walks. My partner usually has off on the weekends so someone will always be home to care for your loved one(s). We use this account together. I have a fenced yard and almost a half acre to run around. I have two beagles and a little yorkie that will keep your pup company.
“Christina is a very thoughtful sitter! She has a great set up. Extra dog crates, a gate before the door so no one runs out, covered couch she lets the dogs up on, and a good little yard. My dog had a blast playing with her and other dog she was watching. We were delayed in our travels and she was very flexible! Told me not to rush and sent a ton of pictures letting me know Lyra was having a good time. She even let me book last minute with a quick meet and greet the night before. Thanks Christina!”

“Michael was very helpful and accommodating. I believe he did his best with Rocco to keep him occupied. Rocco has separation anxiety, but Michael made the efforts to gain his trust in a limited timeframe. We were very appreciative with his services!”

“I could tell Jubilee was very comfortable with her stay with Brittany - she watched her for two doggy day care days- Jubilee went up to her on the second day, which is a really good indicator for me. I will use it again!! Thank you for taking such great care of my puppy!”

“Josie, her husband, and Paco took great care of my Pip while we were vacationing in ABQ. Having Pip go over to her house allowed us to get some hikes, bike rides, and brunches in without having to worry is our young, energetic dog was being destructive or bored at the Airbnb. Highly recommend, and will definitely request Josie again when we return.”

“Michael was great with my dog Peanut, he was very professional; he walked my dog twice and sent timely pictures and behavior reports. I used his services twice in 2 days and my dog Peanut really likes him and I intend to use his services in the future.”

“Mark, did an amazing job with our first timers. He checked with us frequently and it seemed our dogs loved it and where comfortable with him. For our dogs, it was there first time at another persons home and for us as well. Marks, patience was and understanding was greatly appreciated.”

“Holly did a great job with our boy, he had fun playing with the other dogs and got lots of attention. He was excited to go back for daycare after our meet n greet which is always great to see. We definitely recommend!”

“Toast had the best day at daycare with Kathy and the crew! She took the time to make my slow to warm up pup feel right at home. I really appreciated the pupdates thought out the day and the fact she got to go out on a hike (a favorite activity of hers). Would definitely recommend and Toast can’t wait for her next adventure day!”

About: Hi! I’m a caring, patient, and dependable pet lover. Since becoming an adult, I’ve been a devoted cat owner, and caring for my cat has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every pet has their own unique personality. After my husband and I started our family, we welcomed our own dog into our home. Caring for both a dog and a cat every day has given me hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, cleaning up after pets, and recognizing different behaviors and needs. We understand that trusting someone else with your beloved pet is a big decision, and we take that responsibility seriously. I am typically available in the afternoons and evenings for longer walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s routine and ensuring they receive the care, exercise, and companionship they need while you’re away. About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!

About: I have cared for an array of animals over the years including dogs, cats, reptiles, chickens and even pet rats! I deeply enjoy time spent with animals which is why housesitting has always been ideal for me! I myself have multiple dogs and cats that are well cared for and your animals will receive the same attention and care! I am a student at UNM, so most morning I do have to head to campus around 9-10 am. All morning care would be handled before then. My classes have me on campus no longer than 4-5 hours before I would be able to check on your animals. Weekends I work 6-9 hour shifts, but if care requires less gaps between visits this time can be taken off to give your pets around the clock care. This would require at minimum 2 weeks notice and cannot be guaranteed. I am comfortable giving pill or liquid medication for your pets. As well as walking any size dog as long as some leash training is in place. I normally will wash the sheets and towels used if staying overnight! I am very cleanly and will leave your home and pets clean or cleaner than when yall left!
About: I have owned dogs all of my life and understand that they are family members and should be treated as such! I love all dogs from big to small and young to old. While I do not have any pets of my own right now, I would love to help care for yours whether it be feeding, walking, playing, loving on them or more. I am currently off for the summer leaving me plenty of time to care for your pets. From August to May, I work 2 days a week so I will still have plenty of availability. I have two daughters who live with me part time ages 9 and 7 who love pets as well. I would love to care for your pets as you see fit in your home! Just let me know their daily routine and I can accommodate.

“Jessie took great care of Dublin. It was obvious he had a really fun time while he was there. It was comforting to know he was well taken care of while we were away.”

“Cindy was very responsive and super kind. So glad she was able to open her home to Massimo for his stay. We definitely will use her support again when we need it.”

“Jamie was amazing! Our poor baby became ill and she knew something was wrong with her and immediately took her to the vet. We love how Jamie treats our dog like her own.”

“Onrae took good care of Lexi who was much more relaxed and normal than when she stays in the kennel or with other sitters. Already booked next appointment.”

“Esperita was very good and very accommodating. we had to leave early at the last minute and Esperita took the dogs one day early without hesitation. She even changed the booking so all we had to do was accept which made it easy on us. She also took pictures of the dogs and wrote to us every day telling us what they did that day and how they were doing. We will definitely use Esperita again.”
“Doug was so easy to work with and accommodating. My dogs had a lovely time with him. Even though one of my girls got sick with tummy troubles a couple of days before the stay, he agreed to still watch all 3. Stellar experience overall”

“We could not be more grateful to have found Marlena for our first River experience! Especially on a last minute notice! Leaving our doggos with someone new is always a bit stressful, but she instantly won them (& us) over & treated our dogs like her own. Throughout the stay (overnight plus additional hours), Marlena was incredibly sincere & honest with us about how our dogs were doing. She provided detailed updates, photos & videos, we so appreciated her open communication. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such a safe, capable, & loving hands. Our dogs just loved her so much. We will absolutely be booking with Marlena again!”

“Joshua is great. He's a natural with dogs, and it's obvious he loves them! I HIGHLY recommend Joshua and his home for extended boarding. He has a very large yard for play, and the dogs love it! I travel a lot, and I will be using Joshua every time. My puppy, Mocha, made a new friend with Joshua's dog, Blitzen. Immediately, they became friends and were inseparable for seven days. Thank you, Joshua!!! My wife and I are very grateful for the care you gave Mocha!!!”

“Cecilia is a wonderful caretaker for my dog Baldr, I have left him with her twice. She is very communicative and kind and I feel comfortable leaving my beloved older dog with her.”

“Lauren was great! As someone with hyper dogs, I super happy that Lauren was able to take them to the dog park and on walks to get their zoomies out. I could tell my pups felt right at home with her. 10/10”

“Celine was awesome! She took awesome care of our baby and she communicated with us every day. Our dog was very well taken care for and I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Savannah was great with my Charli. Daily photos were sent to update me. My pooch is still a puppy and Savannah was patient, understanding and even taught Charli how to go up stairs. ?”

“Sophie was so wonderful with our dog Bob. Bob seemed very happy and got lots of time with Sophie and her family, and Sophie even gave Bob a bath before pickup! Sophie was also super flexible with our pickup and drop off schedule. Would definitely recommend and use her again!”

“Holly and Robert were amazing. Kenzie had some trouble interacting with other dogs before but they have amazing dog skills to help her to work and have fun with the other dogs. They did great and Kenzie came home happy and healthy. Way better than some sterile kennel. I am so happy Kenzie found a home away from home.”

“This is the second time we leave Tessa with Wendy and it was also a great experience. Wendy is very communicative and sends lots of pics of Tessa enjoying with her and her kids. She also takes Tessa to dog parks and on walks so she can get her exercise. We recommend her :)”

My husband is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, and together we have built a stable, loving, and pet-friendly home. We understand that trusting someone else with your beloved pet is a big decision, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our goal is to provide a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where every pet feels loved and at home. I believe pets are family, and I will always follow your instructions carefully to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. Whether it’s feeding schedules, daily walks, playtime, or administering medication when needed, I’ll make sure your pet receives the attention and care they deserve. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates, so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind, knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Because I believe every pet deserves individualized attention, I only accept the number of pets that I can safely and responsibly care for. My priority is always providing quality care—not just supervision. I would be honored to care for your furry family member as if they were one of my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive and reliable care for your pet. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or boarding, I make sure every pet gets the time, exercise, and attention they need. I respond to messages promptly and will do my best to accommodate your preferred schedule whenever possible. My husband and I have a stable, pet-friendly home where pets are treated like family. We currently have one friendly dog and one cat, so I’m experienced in caring for animals with different personalities and routines. I always follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and any special care requests. I introduce pets thoughtfully, prioritize their comfort and safety, and provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.
