Lisa took excellent care of our senior Frenchie. Our dog takes doily medication and becomes very anxious when we travel. When we returned from our trip, our dog acted as if we had never been away, and our house was in the same clean condition as when we left.

Heather did such an amazing job! We have two mini dachshunds and she sent lots of photos and updates. It was such a relief knowing that they were in great hands! She truly went above and beyond! The house was also spotless when we got home. She will always be our go to dog sitter!

Fabricia did such a great job taking care of Charlie and Chloe. They fell in love with her and cried when she left. She even did extras and help take care of my home while I was away. She clearly has a giant heart, and a great love for animals.

About: I’ve owned a few dogs growing up and I took care of feeding, bathing, and walking them every day and walks were every other day. I’m off work usually by 4:00, Monday through Friday but have weekends off. Your fur babies are welcome into our home whenever a play date is scheduled or if you need a weekend get away I’m more than happy to come to your home to take care of them. Their comfortability is my #1 priority. I make sure while I am at the owners home I either take their dog(s) on a walk or if there’s a yard go outside and play for 30-40 min to get the zoomies out; then go back inside, feed and relax, outside break one more time before I leave.

London H. was fantastic. She agreed to watch our 3 dogs over Christmas weekend with short notice. She asked questions instead of assuming when it came to one pup’s medication which I truly appreciate. One of our boys was even looking for her when we got home lol. The boys were happy and healthy when we returned and our house was definitely cleaner than we left it. She has a very sweet and optimistic personality. She came to meet us and the dogs prior to us leaving which I find very comforting. I absolutely recommend London to anyone seeking an in home fur-baby sitter. 5 out of 5 stars!!!

About: I have had taken care of/lived with various dog breeds, and have walked and raised dogs since I can remember. I recently began volunteering at Alaqua walking and playing with dogs, and I have experience dog sitting and walking my neighbors dogs. I have worked with puppies, middle aged dogs, older dogs, both big and small! I love dogs unconditionally and I will do everything in my power to ensure they stay spoiled and happy :). I work part-time closing shifts at my job, so I am available for early mornings and late nights. I work whenever I am scheduled, but I am always off on Wednesdays! My normal shift is normally 4pm-10pm, so I am available to dog sit, check-in, or walk before and after my shift! I cannot care for pets at my own home, but I will ensure that when I come to your home, I will keep it looking good as new. I am a chronic dish washer if any dishes or slight cleaning needs to be made. I am also no stranger to accidents that dogs are prone to, as one of my past dogs had a sensitive stomach, especially when it came to my carpeted floors. I will do whatever your dog wants to do, but my favorite aspect of it all is to ensure that the dog is happy and to make a connection with them. I love being active and playing, but I can also just simply snuggle up with them.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs for as long as I can remember! From pit bulls to poodles. I currently have a German shepherd husky mix and she is the sweetest, gets along great with other dogs. I’m not currently working so I’m fully available to house sit and/or walk your animals as often as you need. I love dogs and cats! I currently live in an apartment with my doggie, kitty, and two year old son. He loves helping me feed our pets and take them outside to play and go on walks. We have a small fenced dog park in our apartment complex. We go there often. But I prefer to care for your pets in your home where they are comfortable. I’m unfortunately not allowed to have other pets in my home.

About: I’ve had pets since I was young! I’ve had dogs and guinea pigs! I even have experience with cats from other family members! I have my own dog now, Goose, I have had him since he was 3 months old and have trained him pretty much on my own; and since I’ve had a puppy i know that spending time with them is so important as well! He’s also an Irish doodle, so I am experienced in grooming needs for doodles! My mom also dog sits, so I help her take care of the dogs that come to our house, therefore, I am experienced with following instructions for your dogs needs! I understand pets are family and the way you want them to be treated is very important to you and me, so I will gladly make sure your dog is taken care of the way you need! I currently work Full Time, but I can for sure take a break to let your pups out so i’m not gone for too long! I can get up early to give your pup some company and can stay up later as well! I plan on working less hours there soon! and I can always take off completely at that job, if needed with enough notice! I understand home is a safe place for you and your pup, therefore I won’t bring anyone else or another pet around or inside! I lock doors anytime I go through one so I can insure there is no lack of security there! I will follow the rules of your home as if it were my own! I understand the importance of our home and our pets and would never want to cause a disturbance in their environment!

If you're in need of a dependable and compassionate pet sitter, Lisa should be your choice. Lisa recently stayed at our home to take care of our three dogs, including our senior dog, and our cat. We were confident we made the right decision as soon as Lisa arrived. Throughout our time away, Lisa provided us with regular updates on our pets and sent us numerous photos to help ease our minds. What really impressed us was Lisa's responsiveness to any questions or concerns we had during our absence. It was reassuring to know our furry family members were in capable hands. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our experience with Lisa. She went above and beyond to ensure our pets were well taken care of and that we felt at ease while we were away. We highly recommend Lisa to anyone seeking a pet sitter who genuinely cares for their furry companions.

About: What sets me apart is that I have cared for pets my entire life, so being around animals comes very naturally to me. I am patient, attentive, and make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while in my care. I also understand the importance of keeping pets on their normal routines and maintaining a clean environment for them. I'm currently going to school part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play and take care of all your pets. I'm available for boarding on weekends at any time. I provide attentive and reliable care by making sure pets are comfortable, safe, and well cared for in both my home and my client’s home. Since I have an indoor dog, I have experience maintaining a clean and organized environment while staying on top of feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need.

About: About Me 🐾 Animals are my thing—always have been, always will be. I’ve worked with everything from birds and dogs to snakes, goats, and more, so nothing really surprises me at this point. From bottle-fed babies to senior pets who need a little extra TLC (or to be carried around like royalty), I’ve got the patience, experience, and heart for it all. I’m the person who will sit with your pet, talk to them like they’re human, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and completely at ease while you’re away. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for neighbors and friends for years—whether it’s a high-energy puppy or an older pet who just needs a calm, gentle presence. Reliable, attentive, and maybe a little extra when it comes to care—because your pet deserves nothing less. 💁‍♀️🐾 Pet care is part of my daily routine—feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins are naturally built into my schedule to ensure consistent, loving care every day. I care for pets in their home by following their routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and medications, while providing lots of attention, comfort, and a safe, stress-free environment.

FAQs for House Sitting - Ebro

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 324 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Ebro. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Ebro walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Ebro maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ebro choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ebro. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
