“During my stay in the Panhandle, I quickly realized many of the beaches were not pet friendly, so I was in need of a last minute sitter for my pup Sammi. Sammi originally stayed with Aurora for 2 nights, but she had such a great time that I allowed her to go back for a third 🙂 Aurora does an exceptional job of making sure your pup is comfortable in her home. She takes special note of the things they enjoy, their triggers/traumas…and operates accordingly. Not to mention, she takes the most stunning photos of your dog and sends multiple updates throughout the day, so you aren’t left to wonder how they are doing. Sammi came home happy and slept like baby on our 8 hour road trip to South Carolina after her stay. It’s safe to say, Aurora will be my go to sitter anytime I am in the area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

About: I have cared for and trained my dog, my mother’s and grandmother’s dogs. I have also provided a variety of personal home-care services to senior citizens, special needs children & nannied off and on throughout my early adult life. I love caring for and helping others. I substitute teach during the school year and I would love to care for pets during the summer time! It is my goal to at least work part time on top of another part time job! :) I have an apartment where I can keep pets for a short amount of time; we have a nice walking area and a dog park.

About: I've had a special place in my heart for dogs since I was a kid. I was the designated puppy trainer, groomer, and bestie for our family pups growing up. I have my own sweet mini labradoodle, Lainey, who loves company! I've helped with family and friends' pets my whole life, and I'm excited to have a new schedule these days that allows me to help out pet parents on Rover. I currently study from home, so I have plenty of time for your pup! I don't have any obligations away from home, so if your pup needs a little extra attention, feel free to say so, and I'll accommodate the best I can. I have a roomy apartment and a screened-in porch. When we're not on walks or at the park, my pup loves hanging out on the porch with the fans on for some fresh air (door to the inside kept cracked open). My apartment is toddler-proofed and safe, and I'm always around to keep an eye on your pup. We have plenty of chew toys, treats, and fun to go around :)
“Patience IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She is very Loving & caring for you fur baby, This is the first time we have left our baby with someone other than family, & we were worried how we would all do. After meeting Patience we felt he was in excellent hands. She was in constant contact by sending pictures of him throughout the day. He was there for 2 weeks & settled in really good after couple days. He gets anxious when we leave him anywhere but Patience calmed our fears. By day 3 he was rolling on his back playing catch with a baby. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PATIENCE FOR ANY & ALL CARE NEEDS. Our fur baby is 16 & really LOVED IT THERE. About: I’ve owned a few dogs growing up and I took care of feeding, bathing, and walking them every day and walks were every other day. I’m off work usually by 3:00-3:30, Monday through Friday but have weekends off. Your fur babies are welcome into our home whenever a play date is scheduled or if you need a weekend get away I’m more than happy to come to your home to take care of them. Their comfortability is my #1 priority. I make sure while I am at the owners home I either take their dog(s) on a walk or if there’s a yard go outside and play for 30-40 min to get the zoomies out; then go back inside, feed and relax, outside break one more time before I leave.
“Crysta was AMAZING!! I had a unique request: help me get my three dogs to my wedding. Our dogs are a very big part of our lives and we knew our wedding wouldn’t be complete without them. We’ve always dreamed that at our wedding we would be surrounded by our family and friends and our dogs are the most important members of our family. Crysta made our wedding complete! She stepped in when no one else could and accepted the request without hesitation. I scheduled a meet and greet just to make sure she got to meet them first and we talked through our wedding timeline. I asked Crysta to be at our Airbnb for 4 pm, let them have a quick potty break, and take them about 15 minutes down the road to our venue, wait while we take some family photos with the pups, then bring them back to our Airbnb. Let me tell you, she exceeded my expectations TREMENDOUSLY!! She arrived out our house around 3:30, let them have a longer potty break than I asked for, and made it to my venue ONE WHOLE HOUR before the wedding started. She went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were cared for and got to and from the venue safely. I’m not from Destin, I was just in town for the wedding from Houston, but whenever I am back in town and need help with our dogs, she will be the FIRST person I call. She was so kind and friendly and she treated our dogs like they were her own. Words cannot describe how happy I am that I found Crysta. I think my dogs were just as happy, they loved her!! She sent me some cute pics too. Thank you so much Crysta!! You made our dream come true! ♥️”

About: I've grown up with dogs almost my entire life, and I have nearly a decade of experience as a kennel worker at a pet resort. As a dog owner, pet care is a part of my daily routine. For me, it's almost instinct. Family isn't a question of blood or legal relation; it's who you live and grow up with. If you have only one animal, you probably have a reason; I can keep them away from other animals(domestic or wild) if required. I know that pets need constant supervision, like a toddler, but with better hair. I will make sure they get breakfast and dinner(and lunch, if they get lunch), potty time every couple hours, and exercise(walks and play). I will also clean up after them, and hide meds in food if necessary.

About: We own one dog and had two dogs before that. Dogs feel comfortable and loved here. No matter if short or long stays and big or small, old or young dog - there's always room and fun to be had. My husband and I grew up with dogs and can't be without. We have toys and some treats but individual dog-approved is always better. When boarding a dog over a time period that requires feeding I expect food to be provided. While I take any dog and treat it like my own I need to know in advance if there are medical or behavioral issues. I'm a stay-at-home mom of four little ones (10-2yo) We get up early every morning and go to bed rather late. I have a fenced yard, a super friendly dog and my kids grew up with dogs so know how to treat/ not treat dogs. I can also separate dogs if needed. Dogs are always loosely supervised. I am a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling 3 out of 4 kids and so am extremely flexible to all needs of your fur baby. My yard is fenced in for drop-offs that enjoy outside and we have a separate room if a dog requires a calmer environment than the business of a bigger family. I grew up with various dogs and sized dogs. I know how to handle most tempers that are not aggressive. I understand every dog has its own personality and timeline. We have two cars so I am available to drive out for drop-ins and walking.

I am extremely organized, love going by a set schedule/instructions, go on many walks, and would love the extra company! About: I love theater. I love any kind of animal and I will treat them like as if they are my own. I used to have pets but they passed away recently. I’m only available to pet sit at your own place! My apartment does not allow pets. However I can pets it anywhere else. I am available in Panama City, Panama City Beach, Southport, and 30a! I also work at Panama City Toyota full time Tuesday-Friday from 10-7 and Saturdays from 8:30-6 so my availability might be limited but I always find a way to work things out! I have experience volunteering at the Humane Society of Bay County. I will make your pet a very very happy. Can’t wait to meet everyone. It gives me time to play with other pets and gives me time to learn how to deal with situations that I can absolutely learn! I do not have a fenced in area nor am I allowed to have dogs in my house so I can only petsit in your home.

About: I love all animals! I have owned a chameleon, cat dog, hamster you name it I’ve had it. I enjoy animals so I can ensure your baby will be taken care of as my own! My availability is from Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 3:30pm! :) Friday I’m completely available! :) If needed I can also do 10:00pm - 1:00am I had four cats and they had their own room! They had plenty of cat toys and many cat trees. They are my children so there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for them.

About: I feel like that animals are just drawn to me! I feel like that I am very gentle around all animals and able to give them the attention they need. I do work nearby and could even pop in after work on week nights! But I’m mostly available all day on Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays! I am in an apartment and there is a large dog park across from where I live and there is a large complex to walk around and pond.

Sammi originally stayed with Aurora for 2 nights, but she had such a great time that I allowed her to go back for a third 🙂 Aurora does an exceptional job of making sure your pup is comfortable in her home. She takes special note of the things they enjoy, their triggers/traumas…and operates accordingly. Not to mention, she takes the most stunning photos of your dog and sends multiple updates throughout the day, so you aren’t left to wonder how they are doing. Sammi came home happy and slept like baby on our 8 hour road trip to South Carolina after her stay. It’s safe to say, Aurora will be my go to sitter anytime I am in the area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

About: I have cared for and trained my dog, my mother’s and grandmother’s dogs. I have also provided a variety of personal home-care services to senior citizens, special needs children & nannied off and on throughout my early adult life. I love caring for and helping others. I substitute teach during the school year and I would love to care for pets during the summer time!
