I was a wreck trying to figure out how to navigate the situation when I found Tracey who was only 5 mins away. She graciously took our Sophia in, who had never been away from us before, despite her being very nervous. I was also not 100% sure about the potty training situation since she had not stayed anywhere away from home before, but Tracey reassured me that it would be fine and took her in so we could enjoy our trip; mostly stress free. I was also a little apprehensive as well as my little girl and she sent us pictures and updates so we could have peace of mind during her stay. Sophia seemed to warm up to her quickly which was also reassuring. So grateful we had this option.”

About: I have cared for and trained my dog, my mother’s and grandmother’s dogs. I have also provided a variety of personal home-care services to senior citizens, special needs children & nannied off and on throughout my early adult life. I love caring for and helping others. I substitute teach during the school year and I would love to care for pets during the summer time! It is my goal to at least work part time on top of another part time job! :) I have an apartment where I can keep pets for a short amount of time; we have a nice walking area and a dog park.

“This was our 13-1/2 year old Cairn terrier's second stay with Fabricia. Meg had spent nearly 3 weeks at Fabricia's last July, had a great time and we were more than satisfied with the care Fabricia gave Meg. Meg had injured a hind leg a couple of weeks before her current visit and was hobbling. Fabricia took excellent care of her including administration of 2 medications daily. She sent us lots of pictures and videos to reassure us that all was well. Meg's leg actually improved under Fabricia's supervision. We recommend Fabricia without reservations. She is great with canines, great with people and a wonderful person!”

About: I’ve owned a few dogs growing up and I took care of feeding, bathing, and walking them every day and walks were every other day. I’m off work usually by 3:00-3:30, Monday through Friday but have weekends off. Your fur babies are welcome into our home whenever a play date is scheduled or if you need a weekend get away I’m more than happy to come to your home to take care of them. Their comfortability is my #1 priority. I make sure while I am at the owners home I either take their dog(s) on a walk or if there’s a yard go outside and play for 30-40 min to get the zoomies out; then go back inside, feed and relax, outside break one more time before I leave.
“Crysta was AMAZING!! I had a unique request: help me get my three dogs to my wedding. Our dogs are a very big part of our lives and we knew our wedding wouldn’t be complete without them. We’ve always dreamed that at our wedding we would be surrounded by our family and friends and our dogs are the most important members of our family. Crysta made our wedding complete! She stepped in when no one else could and accepted the request without hesitation. I scheduled a meet and greet just to make sure she got to meet them first and we talked through our wedding timeline. I asked Crysta to be at our Airbnb for 4 pm, let them have a quick potty break, and take them about 15 minutes down the road to our venue, wait while we take some family photos with the pups, then bring them back to our Airbnb. Let me tell you, she exceeded my expectations TREMENDOUSLY!! She arrived out our house around 3:30, let them have a longer potty break than I asked for, and made it to my venue ONE WHOLE HOUR before the wedding started. She went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were cared for and got to and from the venue safely. I’m not from Destin, I was just in town for the wedding from Houston, but whenever I am back in town and need help with our dogs, she will be the FIRST person I call. She was so kind and friendly and she treated our dogs like they were her own. Words cannot describe how happy I am that I found Crysta. I think my dogs were just as happy, they loved her!! She sent me some cute pics too. Thank you so much Crysta!! You made our dream come true! ♥️”

About: I've grown up with dogs almost my entire life, and I have nearly a decade of experience as a kennel worker at a pet resort. As a dog owner, pet care is a part of my daily routine. For me, it's almost instinct. Family isn't a question of blood or legal relation; it's who you live and grow up with. If you have only one animal, you probably have a reason; I can keep them away from other animals(domestic or wild) if required. I know that pets need constant supervision, like a toddler, but with better hair. I will make sure they get breakfast and dinner(and lunch, if they get lunch), potty time every couple hours, and exercise(walks and play). I will also clean up after them, and hide meds in food if necessary.

While I take any dog and treat it like my own I need to know in advance if there are medical or behavioral issues. I'm a stay-at-home mom of four little ones (10-2yo) We get up early every morning and go to bed rather late. I have a fenced yard, a super friendly dog and my kids grew up with dogs so know how to treat/ not treat dogs. I can also separate dogs if needed. Dogs are always loosely supervised. I am a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling 3 out of 4 kids and so am extremely flexible to all needs of your fur baby. My yard is fenced in for drop-offs that enjoy outside and we have a separate room if a dog requires a calmer environment than the business of a bigger family. I grew up with various dogs and sized dogs. I know how to handle most tempers that are not aggressive. I understand every dog has its own personality and timeline. We have two cars so I am available to drive out for drop-ins and walking.

About: I love all animals! I have owned a chameleon, cat dog, hamster you name it I’ve had it. I enjoy animals so I can ensure your baby will be taken care of as my own! My availability is from Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 3:30pm! :) Friday I’m completely available! :) If needed I can also do 10:00pm - 1:00am I had four cats and they had their own room! They had plenty of cat toys and many cat trees. They are my children so there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for them.

I currently have a German shepherd husky mix and she is the sweetest, gets along great with other dogs. About: I feel like that animals are just drawn to me! I feel like that I am very gentle around all animals and able to give them the attention they need. I do work nearby and could even pop in after work on week nights! But I’m mostly available all day on Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays! About: I have cared for and trained my dog, my mother’s and grandmother’s dogs. I have also provided a variety of personal home-care services to senior citizens, special needs children & nannied off and on throughout my early adult life. I love caring for and helping others. I substitute teach during the school year and I would love to care for pets during the summer time!
