âPaige was great with Mazzy! This is the longest we've ever had to be away from our dog Mazzy, and things went great!! Lots of pictures lots of walks lots of love đđ˝đ Would definitely recommend her!â

âImelda was well taken care of by Joseph. Joseph sent updates and pics of Imelda and she looked so happy. Joseph gave her exactly what she wanted, lots of belly rubs and love.â

About: Your pets didnât book the trip. They still expect room service. I provide calm, reliable care for cats, dogs, small animals, chickens, and the occasional household plant that has been left in my emotional custody. Most pets do best when their routine stays familiar, so I keep things simple: food, water, walks, litter, meds as instructed, photos, updates, and a steady human who shows up when she says she will. Many of my clients are away for a weekend, a work trip, a vacation, or a longer stay in Maine. Whether you live here year-round, are visiting for the season, or are here temporarily, I help keep pets settled while their people are away. Iâm especially comfortable with cats, senior pets, shy pets, multi-pet homes, and animals who need patience before they decide Iâm acceptable. HOUSE SITTING / OVERNIGHT CARE Overnight care is limited and best suited for planned trips, established clients, and pets who need a steady routine. I keep care selective so pets stay comfortable and the house stays sane. Before booking, please share your petâs routine, personality, medical needs, quirks, and anything they believe is legally theirs. DROP-IN VISITS Best for cats, dogs, small animals, chickens, and pets who prefer their own home and their own couch rules. Visits may include feeding, fresh water, litter, outdoor breaks, medications as instructed, basic tidy-up, and photo updates. Extended visits may be recommended for multiple pets, senior pets, or more involved routines. DOGGY DAY CARE Small-group day care is offered on a limited basis for dogs I already know. Care is calm, structured, supervised, and not a chaotic free-for-all. This is not a high-volume facility-style service. I plan my schedule intentionally to support well-defined care needs and clear timelines. This allows me to provide consistent, attentive care whether youâre traveling nearby or farther from home. Safety and consistency are always a priority. I follow established routines, respect household instructions, and pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or comfort. Clear communication helps ensure a smooth experience while youâre away.
âTabrizia was amazing. My dog had a health crisis and Tabrizia and her husband handled it with great care and grace. They were so kind to my dog (and me). I would recommend them to anyone.â
âKate was a gem and truly saved us when we were in a pinch. My dog had a severe allergy flare up when we were on vacation and was in need of a rest day with some TLC. Kate and family went above and beyond to give him all of the blankets, cuddles, and relaxation he needed while we continued hiking in high humidity and wet conditions. Iâm super careful about who cares for Tux and am glad I put my trust in Kate! We made it home without worsening Tuxâs allergies, and heâs doing much better now.â

âCannot thank charlotte and her husband enough for all their help this last weekend. They were amazing with our pup and have such a great little spot. Charlotte was so sweet and super communicative which is always so nice and reassuring. Would highly recommend them and can't wait for our next visit!â

âMy Australian Shepherd, Remi, had a great time with Melissa. I know Remi was well cared for and incorporated into their family activities including walks and hikes. I know Remi will be excited to return for another visit.â

âOur 11 month old, rambunctious cavalier King Charles spaniel had a wonderful vacation with Emily and Leroy! She went to the beach, on wonderful walks, and had great lap naps. She will definitely be back to visit her new friends the next time we go out of town.â

âAmazing, wonderful person. So patient and clearly feels for the well-being of animals. Our dog was very well cared for. We happened to be visiting Maine from Massachusetts and needed help at the very last minute for our whippet Cannoli and are so lucky to have found Nieves. Her place is tucked in the woods enough to have a peaceful vibe and I can't say enough nice things about Nieves. She was awesome about keeping in touch and letting us know how everything was going. She was really proactive which we loved. If either of us were closer to the other we'd be thrilled to see Nieves more often!!!â

âDebbie has a safe and wonderful set up for boarding your dog. My dog Peter loved it there. He played and socialized with other dogs and was very well cared for. Debbie was great about updates and sending pics and videos of our boy each day! Will definitely board Peter with Debbie again!â

âThank you Danielle!! Spice and Coco have indicated that they had a great time. We are so thankful to have found you! It made our trip so much easier to go worry free. The girls seemed very relaxed and every picture you sent over our trip, showed how happy they were. Your attitude during the entire stay they had, was over the top. When our return flight was canceled, and it added an extra day to our trip, you again made us feel at ease. Can't thank you enough, and would use you again on our return next summer. Pat, Sue, Spice and Coco.â

About: I know that every pet has their own needs and own personalities. I have been working with high energy dogs, older dogs, small dogs for years now. Remaining flexible with each individual animals needs. Friends have called me when they will be away for long weekends, Iâm very flexible and am here to make sure your dogs, cats and any other pets are taken care of so you can enjoy your vacations, long weekends, nights out, whatever it may be. I am currently in school part time and I work as a house cleaner on the days that I do not have school. I typically work 6 hours a day (3 hours a house), having time to stop and check on doggies in between houses and in between classes as well. I have a beautiful family at home so on the weekends I typically like to spend time with them, while checking on the pups throughout the day and staying overnight with the pups! My partner, his 6 year old son, our Corgi Coffee and I have made the decision to open our home up for boarding allowing us to all care and love on the pups while also being able to have more quality family time together. While at the home of other pets I try and make the pet feel as comfortable as possible while their owners are away, making sure to keep their routines about the same. I will have owners leave instructions of care for me, along with feeding times, if they have any silly personality traits or triggers, leave any medications they may need, etc. I always make sure to know where the food, toys, leash and treats are. In my own home, owners can bring crates if needed, animals can sleep in our bed or owners can bring their doggie beds. We have a large backyard, but it is not fenced in, we currently have one lead we use for doggies, and owners can also bring their own. Feeding time will stay to what the dogs are use to and owners should leave instructions for care/routines for me so even though theyâre in a new space, they have some consistency with their schedules!
âThis was Lily's second time staying with Nicole. Nicole and her family took great care of our dog, Lily while we were away. She was great with communication and sent pictures of Lily almost every day. We highly recommend her!â

âThis was our first experience using Rover. Everything went better than I could've expected. Kirk was a great sitter and kept us updated the entire time we were gone. Kirk provided Finley with lots of exercise and play time. I love that Kirk lives across the street from a walking path and has a fenced in back yard, bonus points! We will definitely use this service and Kirk again I'm the future đâ

Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
