Clea H.
About: I have many years (25) of experience with cats and dogs of all personalities, I prioritize safety and respect for all animals, and as a current graduate student and lifelong learner, I appreciate the need to learn about the specific needs of you and your pet. I'm currently in graduate school which means that my schedule outside of class is very flexible and leaves ample time during the week to get out and care for your pets! Because every owner's and every pet's needs are different, I prioritize learning your routine and preferences for pet care and accessing your property. I always enter a home or property with respect and work to make every interaction with your pet as smooth as possible by keeping a calm energy and paying attention to cues about pet behavior.

I currently have 5 dogs of my own, a male boxer named Little Mac, a Male Pitbull named Akamaru, A deaf female pitbull Avacyn, a male Cane Corso named Goon, and lastly a female German Shepherd named Holli. Before I moved to Maine I had 40 chickens 8 Pot belly pigs and an (OTTB) Off the track thoroughbred horse that was saved from a kill pen. Im currently enrolled in a Dog Obedience Course and learning new things everyday! I’m also employed overnight I have a set 5 hour shift each night I work. I’m very attentive and energetic, I won’t stop playing until they do! I’ll send you pictures and keep you updated on your babies and I’ll make sure everyone is safe and having fun! I can’t wait to meet new dogs and people. I am new to Maine, I’m very excited to start this next chapter in my life and I look forward to hearing from you soon! Dog sitting is my second job. I’m also employed overnight for only FIVE whole hours from 11pm-4am. I am off weekend nights most of the time as well I tend to keep my babies away from any dog I bring into my home as to not test any boundaries with another dog I am unfamiliar with. With house sittings I do not bring my dogs to your house

Karen S.
“We are from Pennsylvania and would not have been able to bring our rottie f not for Karen. We rented a cottage and the few days we went places not pet friendly, Karen came to our cottage to let Indy out and play with her a bit. Karen even got us a lead on the best lobster we've ever had. She was more than a dog sitter. She genuinely cares.”

About: I've taken care of my family's two dogs for three years, from daily walks to nightly cuddles. I have cared for my neighbors cats and have worked at a local shelter to take care of new litters (clean up, outside exposure). When I am at home in Maine, I often wake up to my dogs at my feet. I walk both of them (two boxers, total weight of 160) for at least an hour, feed them, cuddle, and give them an evening walk as well. When taking care of other's animals, I have a large backyard for dogs to play in. I live near many trails to walk on. I live in a communal space with housemates who would love to also play with your pup! When staying in your home, I have spent time in other's spaces when working as a summer cleaner. I will take care of your animal(s) to the best of my ability and can complete household chores if needed. My goal as an animal caretaker is for your animal(s) to feel comfortable and happy in the space.

About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. It started with my family dog, then taking care of all of my friends dogs and now having my own puppy. I have worked in multiple animal hospitals and have experience with many different breeds and sizes of dogs. I am currently going to school as a full-time student and have extra time where I’d love to care for animals if I can. With not many classes and an open schedule it should be very easy to fit daily walks in. At home I have a dog and constantly take him for walks and different places in order for him to get out of the house.

Min F.
“I have known Min for many years and she has always been an animal lover. She has a way with them that is kind and loving yet firm, and all pets just love her. Her own dog is a great testimonial as Min has had her since she was a pup and she is extremely well behaved and happy. Min has also fostered dogs and assisted several rescues. I would highly recommend Min for any pet walking or sitting services. You’d be very lucky to get her!”

Leslie J.

“Leslie showed Light a great time! We were all delighted!”

Addison N.
“Addison is a great caretaker for animals. She is responsible, patient, and caring. She will love you the fur babies, play with them, and take them for a walk. Such a relief to have her take care if our pets.”

Kelsey S.
“I have known Kelsey for years now, she is hands down the most dependable person I know. I trust her with watching my own dog, which is saying a lot as I have severe seperation anxiety from my dog and do not trust a lot of people to watch him. Kelsey also has her own animals, and you can tell just how much she loves and cherishes her own pets just by watching her interact with them. They are her world, and I trust her with mine.”

About: I took care of my grandmas puppy while I vacationed in Hawaii. She had two other dogs that I would help out with like preparing their food, filling their water, taking them for walks, giving them baths, or picking up after them. Im a part time college student online and one class I attend on friday mornings. I work at a restaurant part time so my hours vary but are not long. I can follow any instructions for how the pets need to be taken care of. I dont plan on having pets at my appartment but if they are easy to take care of, I have a decent sized apartment for a crate or dog bed.
