“We contacted Karen about watching our dogs we while we went whale watching. She was very easy to work with and very accommodating. She had our dog from 1 pm until 8 pm. We met at a halfway point for drop off and she returned the dog to us at the port in downtown Bar Harbor. She could not have been more accommodating aa our boat was a little bit late getting back into port. She is very nice and seems to genuinely care about the animals she watches. I had a Jack Russell who lived to be 11 years old named Romeo...He was a ball of energy, he had eye problems and needed drops daily. I also had a Rat Terrier named Oliver, we bought him at a year old. He lived to be 14 years old. Most recently my sister currently has a mini golden doodle, who is 4 years old. I loved taking my dogs on the trails in the parks. If I didn’t travel so much, I would love a dog of my own. I work seasonal contract jobs outside the National parks, mainly in the summer season. I go walking everyday & I would love to bring your pup with me. I am renting an apartment but I also work downstairs from it so I can check on them and take them out throughout the day

Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.
