DROP-IN VISITS Best for cats, dogs, small animals, chickens, and pets who prefer their own home and their own couch rules. Extended visits may be recommended for multiple pets, senior pets, or more involved routines. DOGGY DAY CARE Small-group day care is offered on a limited basis for dogs I already know. Care is calm, structured, supervised, and not a chaotic free-for-all. This is not a high-volume facility-style service. I plan my schedule intentionally to support well-defined care needs and clear timelines. This allows me to provide consistent, attentive care whether you’re traveling nearby or farther from home. Safety and consistency are always a priority. I follow established routines, respect household instructions, and pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or comfort. Clear communication helps ensure a smooth experience while you’re away.

About: I know that every pet has their own needs and own personalities. I have been working with high energy dogs, older dogs, small dogs for years now. Remaining flexible with each individual animals needs. Friends have called me when they will be away for long weekends, I’m very flexible and am here to make sure your dogs, cats and any other pets are taken care of so you can enjoy your vacations, long weekends, nights out, whatever it may be. Hosting: We have a family of 4 as of right now and one more on the way. My wonderful husband Jase helps welcome our furry guests with an abundance of belly rubs and play time, I have a 7 year old son who adores all of the pups we welcome in and always asks if they can stay a little longer. He helps get out any of that playful energy as well! We also have a 6 year old Corgi who can be sassy and jealous at the first meet (never any bites or fights, usually just a singular jealous grumble) but after a little butt sniffing and 10 minutes of meeting the pup she is totally fine. She’s very mellow and is now warmed up to us welcoming other pups into our home. She just has to go into the grass and do a few “territory kicks” to make sure the other pup knows that “this is her house” 😂. Since we do have a kiddo and I am currently expecting we do require a short meet and greet before every overnight/extended stay for everyone’s safety. House Sitting/Cat care: Unfortunately as of right now I can’t open up my house sitting services at this time, and can only visit cats if they do not require litter box cleaning (if you have an automatic litter box I can still come check on, feed and play with kitties though)! Drop In Visits with Pups: As of right now I am still currently accepting drop in visits for now, but do also require meet and greets before drop in visits as well. Thank you for considering me to care for your pups, and I can’t wait to meet you all! I am currently working as a house cleaner. I typically work 6 hours a day (3 hours a house), having time to stop and check on doggies in between houses and in between classes as well. I have a beautiful family at home so on the weekends I typically like to spend time with them! My partner, our 7 year old son, our Corgi Coffee and I have made the decision to open our home up for boarding allowing us to all care and love on the pups while also being able to have more quality family time together. While at the home of other pets I try and make the pet feel as comfortable as possible while their owners are away, making sure to keep their routines about the same. I will have owners leave instructions of care for me, along with feeding times, if they have any silly personality traits or triggers, leave any medications they may need, etc. I always make sure to know where the food, toys, leash and treats are. In my own home, owners can bring crates if needed, animals can sleep in our bed or owners can bring their doggie beds. We have a large backyard, but it is not fenced in, we currently have one lead we use for doggies, and owners can also bring their own. Feeding time will stay to what the dogs are use to and owners should leave instructions for care/routines for me so even though they’re in a new space, they have some consistency with their schedules!

About: I've always had dogs or cats as pets. I currently have 2 dogs now. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.

Marty's a little shy and slow to open up at first, and Kirk made him feel safe and happy the first time he stayed with him while I was out of town for a full week during the holidays. Marty got to play with the other dogs that Kirk was taking care of in his large fully fenced-in backyard, so I knew he was having fun and not being overly anxious about me being gone. I had a Jack Russell who lived to be 11 years old named Romeo...He was a ball of energy, he had eye problems and needed drops daily. About: I am a cat mom of 1, but soon to be 2! I have always had a cat in my household since the day I was born! That’s 21 years of living with cats! At the age of 10, as one of my chores, it was my responsibility to feed our cats and give them water and I loved it! I left the litter box up to my dad! I do now have that responsibility as an adult though! I have always loved being around cats and there were times where there were no cats in our house and it felt very strange! About: I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds since I was old enough to walk, from horses to dogs and cats. I love animals and am very responsible. I am currently enrolled in college, so any house sitting must be pretty close to school or apartment in the bangor area. Otherwise I am pretty flexible and willing to work with you as long as you are willing to work with me:) Since I am enrolled in college, I cannot pet-sit in my own home. But I love animals and I believe they are more comfortable in the comfort of their own home and I am very tidy and will pick up after myself and your pet, if need be.
About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I grew up with several different animals and have always loved being around them and taking care of them! At a very young age I really wanted to work with animals and that same passion of working with them is still the same today! As of right now, my schedule varies! And cared for my neighbors’ dogs. From volunteering I’ve learn much about behaviors for both dogs and cats and have discovered I have a talent for working with them. They get fed on special foods on a schedule. When they are eating I clean their cat boxes and when they are finished, I clean their bowls. Before they begin their daily naps , I play with each of them. They range in age from 19 to 1 yr. I also check their water bowls throughout the day or night depending. I can give them treats anytime. I also have learned various medical skills and hope to go back to school for a third degree as a vet tech and if life allows veterinary practice.

I provide calm, reliable care for cats, dogs, small animals, chickens, and the occasional household plant that has been left in my emotional custody. Most pets do best when their routine stays familiar, so I keep things simple: food, water, walks, litter, meds as instructed, photos, updates, and a steady human who shows up when she says she will. Many of my clients are away for a weekend, a work trip, a vacation, or a longer stay in Maine. Whether you live here year-round, are visiting for the season, or are here temporarily, I help keep pets settled while their people are away. I’m especially comfortable with cats, senior pets, shy pets, multi-pet homes, and animals who need patience before they decide I’m acceptable. HOUSE SITTING / OVERNIGHT CARE Overnight care is limited and best suited for planned trips, established clients, and pets who need a steady routine. I keep care selective so pets stay comfortable and the house stays sane. Before booking, please share your pet’s routine, personality, medical needs, quirks, and anything they believe is legally theirs. DROP-IN VISITS Best for cats, dogs, small animals, chickens, and pets who prefer their own home and their own couch rules. Visits may include feeding, fresh water, litter, outdoor breaks, medications as instructed, basic tidy-up, and photo updates. Extended visits may be recommended for multiple pets, senior pets, or more involved routines. DOGGY DAY CARE Small-group day care is offered on a limited basis for dogs I already know. Care is calm, structured, supervised, and not a chaotic free-for-all. This is not a high-volume facility-style service. I plan my schedule intentionally to support well-defined care needs and clear timelines. This allows me to provide consistent, attentive care whether you’re traveling nearby or farther from home. Safety and consistency are always a priority. I follow established routines, respect household instructions, and pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or comfort. Clear communication helps ensure a smooth experience while you’re away.

About: I've always had dogs or cats as pets. I currently have 2 dogs now. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.

“Kirk was a great caretaker for my dog, Marty! Marty's a little shy and slow to open up at first, and Kirk made him feel safe and happy the first time he stayed with him while I was out of town for a full week during the holidays. Marty got to play with the other dogs that Kirk was taking care of in his large fully fenced-in backyard, so I knew he was having fun and not being overly anxious about me being gone. Kirk sent updates with videos every day. I'll definitely be sending Marty to Kirk's again, and I would recommend his services!”
About: Hello! I'm Ashley. I am 35 years old. I am from Stuart, FL. I am working in Bar Harbor for the summer and have recently decided to stay through winter until April 2026. I have always been an animal lover and if I could afford a farm and have every type of animal in it... I would. I have owned, dogs, fish, and birds. I have had dogs most of my life. I had a Jack Russell who lived to be 11 years old named Romeo...He was a ball of energy, he had eye problems and needed drops daily. I also had a Rat Terrier named Oliver, we bought him at a year old. He lived to be 14 years old. Most recently my sister currently has a mini golden doodle, who is 4 years old. I loved taking my dogs on the trails in the parks. If I didn’t travel so much, I would love a dog of my own. I work seasonal contract jobs outside the National parks, mainly in the summer season. I go walking everyday & I would love to bring your pup with me. I am renting an apartment but I also work downstairs from it so I can check on them and take them out throughout the day

About: We are an energetic family that love animals. We will make sure your animal is well looked after and receives the love it deserves ! I will be off this summer and will be home throughout the day to take care of your animals. We can also look after your animal over night. We live in a dead end neighborhood where there are not many cars that pass through. We will make sure there is always a set of eyes on your animal.

Relaxing or active your pet will enjoy their stay. I currently work as a B&B host in the summers, leaving my winters, fully open schedule wise. Hosting for over four years so I know how to make sure you get a five star experience. We have a fenced yard hard floors, dog kennels, and everything a dog would need. I have a golden retriever named Sadie, who is very sociable goes to the dog park super friendly. I work for myself managing properties and are able to bring any pets with me to job sites if needed.
