About: As a lifelong dog owner and lover I have always taken care of not only my own but been a go-to sitter for my friends cats and dogs. I currently have a 4 yr old yellow lab who may be 100 lbs but he thinks he’s a lap dog nonetheless. I love big dogs as I have always had a large dog in the house but small dogs steal my heart too. I have an extremely flexible schedule. As a real estate agent I am only in the office/area that I work on random days here and there. “I booked Rivera a short time before a week long business trip. I had never used a dog nanny before. I live with two Dogs and one cat. Cat is a cat/no problem. Dogs are finicky and only pay attention to me. I didn’t know how they would act with another caretaker. I was so worried no one would be able to care for my beloved dogs. I asked Rivera to come by for a pretrip visit and the dogs just barked but surprisingly let her be in their space. Their attitude didn't phase Rivera at all. She knew just what to do! I left for my trip and she visited 3 times a day. Rivera sent txts, photos,and videos to me every visit. I could track my dogs well being and they were warming up to her! What I really like was she let the dogs be comfortable in their home. She took care of food, water meds. I could see each visit they were warming up to her and becoming more comfortable.
