About: I’ve always lived in a pet-household. Friends continuously ask me to take care of their pets. I can walk, feed, clean litter, play with, and whatever other needs your pet may have. I work in a school setting, so I am typically free most weekends, all weekend long. I work until about 4:30 weekday, but would be free afterwards to care for pets if needed. I could give your dog a walk, or check in your cat. Mornings, afternoons, or evenings! I would defer to you as to what safety looks like (harness, leash, collar, etc). My two dogs have name tag collars, and leashes. I have walked dogs with harnesses as well. Sometimes I need a little instruction as to how to put it on (some designs are tricky!), but in the end I always figure it out!

About: I’ve worked training German Shepherd puppies and a Doberman and have taken care of friends pets, including cats and small dogs, but I definitely have the most experience with cats and working dogs!! About: I am a very experienced pet owner in Montpelier - I have owned and loved alpacas, dogs, goats, cats, and backyard birds of all kinds. I have also done foster care of kittens and cats for CVHS. I'm available to provide a fun and loving spot to board your dogs. They will get attention, care, walks, and playtime with my 3 dogs. I have a crate if needed, can be one level if mobility is an issue, am willing to administer meds and have no problem with puppies or senior pets. I am home all afternoon and evening and weekends and dogs get a lunchtime walk as well. I am available for boarding all of the time, but only showed weekends because that’s when I am home all day and evening. During the week dogs would still get a morning and lunchtime walk and care all afternoon and evening. I will send updates and photos throughout your dogs time with us - I am also available to pick up and drop off dogs for an additional fee. I work in Montpelier until 3:00 pm so pets get exercise in the afternoons and weekends, and dogs get a lunchtime walk as well. I am around all of the time on weekends and school breaks and all summer. Our house has many dog beds, crates, toys and treats. We live on many acres and dogs can be on or off leash, depending on needs. I also take dogs to local trails to walk and socialize.

Miranda not only took him on long walks at parks and on trails, she made the walks challenging and interesting. Finn loves their time together and Miranda was so good at communicating with us and connecting with Finn that we asked her to keep him during our last vacation. Game changer. She followed our instructions about his eating schedule, gave him plenty of exercise, and kept us updated throughout our holiday. Finnigan is high energy and constantly challenging authority. He is a lot for most people…even his daycare folks, so it was refreshing to see Miranda with our sweet fur baby. Her calm authority and mindfulness with Finn makes leaving him with her one of our best decisions. He gets extra socialization and exercise when I have to work on weekends and I don’t feel bad because I know he’s with Miranda. I can’t recommend her enough!”
