“Samantha is wonderful!!! We are here for the summer and had to board our lab for a week. He was experiencing some allergies and Sam was more than happy to help! She provided updates, photos and videos of him throughout the week! We were able to add a day to our itinerary mid stay. Sam is very flexible! The location is exactly what we hoped for! Lots of space and outdoor time. Sam does daily walks. She offered to keep Riggs with the timid crew since he is a bit shy. Sam knows and love dogs! We are incredibly thankful for her!”

About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I'm a long-time vegetarian, and have always had an extra sensitive heart when it comes to animals. I think that earning an animal's trust is such a privilege and gift, and I honor that. I cannot house pets in my current apartment, but I will follow the guidance and knowledge of the owners in their homes and while on walks.

“Gwynn is fantastic. We have a tiny 6 lb on-year-old dog, and a large, lanky 70lb 13-year-old. Opposite extremes. Both recently stayed with Gywnn for several days, and she was 100% and equally dialed into their very different needs the entire time. From the moment we first saw Gwynn interact with our two, it was clear that 1) she truly understands dogs and dog behavior, and 2) she loves dogs. That mix of professional ability and heart-felt care is a special combination, and makes for a terrific dog sitter. We'll be thrilled to send our dogs back to Gwynn when the need arises. And we know they'll love to go back, too, cause it's clear that they had a great time with Gwynn and her dog Meatball (who proved to be a wonderful host, and very effective guide on their frequent nature walks).”

“Totally thrilled with the stay! A perfect home for sensitive dogs - great people and a peaceful environment. Barbara and Darryll are warm, caring people and very responsive to my dogs needs, plus sent regular updates and pictures throughout the stay. My dog is a Belgian Shepherd and can be anxious and at times reactive, but she was relaxed and quiet while staying here. It was ideal because they were home with her most of the time and kept a consistent routine for her. She found her place on a couch by the window so she could watch the squirrels in the yard, just like at home. I felt safe leaving my dogs with such kind people, thank you Barbara and Darryll! I can't recommend them highly enough!”

About: I can cater to whatever your dog needs. Whether that be daily long walks, runs, or just a simple stroll through the yard. Growing up with 2 dogs has taught me a lot Currently on summer break as I wait for my college graduate program to start. I can give your dog all the attention they need and deserve. I have a partially fenced in yard and I’m a very short walk to a lot of great trails and water. Also I have room for any crates that may be used.

“Kevin is a trustworthy find. We left our young Pyredoodle with Kevin while we were abroad, confident our pooch was in good, capable, safe hands. Kevin and his Great Dane, Maki, very calm and easy-going, made perfect companions for our active 2-year-old doggie. When highways were closed due to an unforeseen nor’easter, Kevin without hesitation generously offered to keep Bentley on if necessary. We love that Kevin works at home so there would be someone with Bentley in a cozy, relaxed setting, a much better alternative to boarding at a kennel, especially for a social family dog like ours who needs regular loving human interaction. We would gladly call on Kevin again.”

“We couldn’t ask for a better experience with Chad. Our family stayed in Smugglers’ Notch/Stowe area and our resort (if you do timeshare, you understand) doesn’t allow pets. We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”
