About: I have lived with dogs my whole life- from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have trained puppies (am currently doing so now) and cared for the sweetest senior dogs. I have a large home and yard, free of children but with one friendly puppy. I am very patient and loving, and will appreciate any animal personality I am presented with. I have a smaller fenced in area off my back door. I am available for all services anytime on weekends but also work from home on Mondays. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits each week night after 4, and sometimes during my lunch break if you happen to live near downtown Montpelier! I frequently bring dogs for leashed walks throughout their time with me, whether its around my large yard or somewhere new like a bike path. I do not provide a crate but rather try to mostly stay with a dog throughout the duration of their stay, and allow them full access to my home at all times. I like to treat them as family but also do whatever will make them feel most comfortable and secure.

“Kelly was super awesome with Prada I loved how she kept me informed with Prada while I was on vacation she even sent me pictures of her! She followed all instructions I sent for Prada as well! She will most definitely be my go to when I need a sitter for Prada again ?”

“Maria provided exceptional care for our two large dogs. Prior to her and her dog, Lalo, 10 day stay at our house, Maria was gracious to meet us to introduce our dogs to Lalo. Cooper has IBD and severe allergies. Sometimes this makes him more irritable and reactive to other dogs. Generally, the concern is more with large dogs but Lily and Cooper have not been walked or had other dogs in their home in a few years. Maria has a very calm demeanor and is well versed in dog language. All introductions went well and her dog Lalo is well socialized and trained. We consider Lily and Cooper more 'needy' due to health issues. Maria was great at maintaining their routine with multiple feedings per day and a daily walk outing. The walk outings were 'above and beyond' as Lily and Cooper need to be leash walked. Maria provided daily photos and updates and is a really positive person. These updates made our vacation relaxed and worry free. In the past our dogs have exhibited some separation anxiety. When we returned home, they were happy and obviously had been groomed. If needed, we would enthusiastically book Maria again to care for Lily and Cooper.”

“Paige was incredible with our dog. She not only kept us well up to date with their day to day items but since our dog has been battling some illness, she ensured Toodles was up on her meds, attentive to her needs, and even made special at home accommodations to help her feel a bit better. We know our dog can sometimes be a handful and Paige took her on as her own so we were able to have the utmost confidence being away and feel at ease knowing she was in perfect hands. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend and looking forward to utilizing Paige again!”

During our dogs stay she was super attentive to his needs and sent great updates and photos. Both she and Alexander took my pup on tons of walks and hikes, making sure he had ample exercise. It was nice knowing he had a friend to hang with - their dog Zinnia. I would highly recommend Alaysha and Alexander.”
