“Brian did a great job checking in on Mochi when I had to work all day. He took him for a walk and made sure he went potty. Gave Mochi lots of treats and attention! Thanks again ?”

About: I absolutely love working with dogs! I have at least 9 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats! I volunteered in the cattery in Humane Society and walking dogs as well. I work remotely and can flex my schedule to spend time watching pets or walking your dog. I am very flexible and I can easily work with your scheduling. I have a backyard, but I prefer to walk dogs frequently and take them outside myself for fresh air and outdoor play. We have only 1 pet rabbit, and keep him separated when there is a furry house guest.

About: I have had at least one pet my entire life. I am as passionate about Cats as I am Dogs. I recently lost my 15 year old Dachshund. He was the love of my life ( sorry Husband). Currently we have three Senior Dogs. We would have more if we had a bigger home. I recently left my position as a Client Care Supervisor at a local Animal Hospital. I was there for twelve years and it was by far the best work experience I have ever had. I adore Senior Cats, Kittens and every Cat in between those life stages. Same with Dogs. Senior Dogs delight me as much as any Puppy. Any Animal in my presence is immediately my favorite Animal. During my years at the Animal Hospital I was never medically trained . I did however learn to recognize symptoms of common medical issues and signs that a Pet needs immediate medical attention. I would love to make your Pet ( or Pets ), my new Best Friend. I am currently unemployed while I participate in an advanced 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training. I have a fairly flexible daytime, night and weekends schedule. I would like to meet any pets and their owners before walking them or house sitting. I would adhere to the pet owner’s standard of care. I will provide as many photos and updates as the pet owner wants.

“Lizzie has been a great help walking our little cavapoo. She is very punctual, responsive, and caring. She left a detailed report from her walk with our dog along with some very cute pictures. We will definitely be using her in the future for all our dog walking needs.”

“Madison was wonderful helping with daytime walks for our dog Frieda this week! She went above and beyond to make sure Frieda felt comfortable, even spending extra time on their first walk when she was a bit stubborn. Madison communicated clearly after every visit, which gave me peace of mind while I was at work for long hours. It was such a relief knowing Frieda was safe, cared for, and in good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m a proud husky dad who recently moved to Grand Rapids and I’m excited to meet all the fluffy friends in the area. I believe every dog deserves kindness, structure, and a bit of fun along the way. My style? Positive reinforcement with clear boundaries—lots of praise, gentle guidance, exercise, and treats (when earned!). Whether your pup needs a calm walk, some high-energy play, or just someone who gets their quirks, I’m here for it. In my free time, I volunteer at the local shelter walking dogs and helping out however I can. I’ve raised my husky since he was 4 months old—so I understand the ups and downs of house training, daily exercise, and building trust. From basic obedience to fun tricks like “play dead,” I’ve trained my own dog with patience and love. I aim to create a safe, relaxed, and fun environment where dogs feel at home—even when they’re away from it. If you’re looking for someone who’ll treat your dog like family, I’d love to help. Let me know what your pup needs—I’ll take care of the rest. 🐾 As a house dad, I have a flexible and consistent schedule while my partner works full time. I’m available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, which makes me a great fit for weekday walks, drop-in visits, or play sessions. I’m looking to use that time for something active and meaningful—and spending it with dogs is the perfect way. Please note: I’m currently unavailable for boarding, but I’m happy to provide dependable daytime care during the week. I know how much your dog means to you—mine means the world to me too. I keep things calm and easy so your pup feels safe and relaxed. I take my time, earn their trust, and make sure they’re comfortable and happy the whole time we’re together.

“Gaby is awesome all around and attentive to my dog, Emmy’s, specific needs and personality. She is a very clear and prompt communicator, and goes the extra mile for your dog!”

About: I've been surrounded by animals of all kinds since I was a child including family pets and walking/pet-sitting throughout high school for neighbors and family friends. In college, I worked in a veterinary clinic as an assistant to a DVM and gained a great deal of knowledge regarding medical care for dogs and cats. I spent a great deal of time training my family's German Shephard in PSA (protection sport) and general obedience. I currently work in the office most mornings during the week but am available after 1 p.m. most days for drop-in visits and walks full of attention and love. Make a suitable environment - providing your dog with a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. Provide adequate protection from hazards inside and outside of the home. Watching for abnormal behavioral patterns or changes that can indicate illness. And most importantly, supplying unconditional love.

About: Your dogs will love it here! Family and friends relay on me to take care of their pets while they are away. I have experience with all types of dogs and personalities. I am currently a stay at home mom of 1, with a flexible schedule. In the home we have 1 dog named Jack. If special arrangements are needed please let me know. My apartment is on a low traffic street & has a large yard with plenty of room to run.I will provide toys, treats & blankets.

About: I seem to be a magnet for anxious dogs and cats! Both my senior cat and adolescent dog have behavioral issues/anxiety, and while it has its challenges, I find bonding with these guys can be the most rewarding experience. Between slow, gentle movements, not rushing a bond, and having lots of treats on hand, I've learned that "difficult" personalities don't always have to be so hard. I work 8-5 on weekdays, with Mondays and Fridays being working-from-home days. I can easily incorporate lunch-time and evening visits into my schedule during the week with open availability on weekends. After adopting an anxious/reactive dog, my partner and I have invested countless hours into a training program that works for us. Through this experience, I've learned the power of positive reinforcement, consent for touch, and patience even when it's the most difficult to find it. I'm a huge believer in redirecting unwanted behavior rather than punishment of any kind. Love and respect is the driving force behind all of my interactions with animals!

“This was my first time using Rover, and Hannah was excellent throughout the process: communicative, helpful, and proactive in scheduling a meet and greet before her first scheduled visit with my dog. And of course, my often-difficult dog loved her instantly. Highly recommended.”

About: I currently have a kitty whom I love and adore and take care of by myself, as I live alone. In previous years I have fostered older cats who needed to be socialized. I also primarily took care of my family's dog, walking her three times a day and keeping her well fed and entertained. I have also had experience walking neighbors' dogs and watching friends' cats. I absolutely adore both cats and dogs and would love to spend time with yours! I'm currently working a first shift job, so I have plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings to watch or walk your furry friends. I have a lot of experience with shy cats and dogs, so I'm great at making them more comfortable and ease their nerves as they are with a stranger. Safety is also a top priority, watching them and making sure they aren't eating or getting into something dangerous.

About: I have taken care of my own dog for 7 years now and previous cats for 5 so I have a lot of experience with my own pets and others pets through the years I work Tuesday - Thursday mornings until 4 pm and Friday and Saturday evenings 5 hour shift and am available outside of that timeframe to watch your pets. I can crate your dog if needed or put up baby gates for a specific area of the house the pet will be kept, I can do walks and potty breaks along with feeding and giving water or some play time in your yard

About: I have been watching animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a house full of cats and dogs, I've been involved with puppies/kittens to senior pets as well. I'm available to administer medication if needed. I've looked after animals for my neighbors, friends, family, and co-workers as well as those I have been recommended to from existing clientele. I currently work full time, but am remote on Fridays. I work from 8-5 PM everyday, with an hour break from 12-1 PM. I can work around my schedule and yours for your pets needs! Available on the weekends, all day, as well. I care for pets in my client's home the same way I would care for my own pets in my own home. I respect the space that I'm in while giving my undivided attention to the animals that need my care. I'm respectful of the home I'm staying in, always trying to make it cleaner than when I arrived (you'll never know I was there!). The pet's wellbeing is important and a top priority for me - I want to make sure the owner feels at ease when leaving their pet(s) and home with me.

Melissa S.
“I've known Melissa for many years, and in that time I've seen her interact with animals in ways that are always genuinely caring and loving. It's probably easy to write a testimonial for anyone and say "they love animals" but in Melissa's instance not only does she love animals but she truly sees each one as the beautifully unique individuals they are. Often I've seen an animal just gravitate toward her, and a warm connection is quickly established. Having cared for many animals in her life, including her own, Melissa holds the animal's health and general well-being as paramount, and sees it as a mission and responsibility to ensure they are safe and happy. I would not hesitate in allowing Melissa to provide services for any beloved pet!”

Richard M.

“Richard was very consistent and reliable and communication was very good. I believe he also genuinely enjoyed spending time with my dog.”

East Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kinsey took great care of my puppy. She communicated well and provided high quality photos. She was on time and walked my puppy for the full amount. She took a few moments to greet my puppy to make sure he was comfortable with her before walking. Thank you Kinsey!

Sarah has been wonderful to work with. I was really impressed with her attention to detail when we first met, and she was friendly and kind, to me and my pup. My mother was visiting during my pups walks, and she even commented how much she liked Sarah. I’m excited to continue to book Sarah for dog walks and pet sitting! I was especially happy how much she enjoyed large dogs, with my Shepard mix pushing 90 lbs :)

Amazing!!! He genuinely cared about my dog’s well being & sent pics with constant communication. I had Binx stay at Whiskers resort & hired Joshua for daily walks which helped him tremendously, even whiskers said it helped my high energy, nervous boy. Thanx again for taking Binx to a beautiful park & not just a sidewalk AND for picking up that xtra day
