“Sherri was amazing with Iza! All the pictures that were sent, Iza had the best time with her! We were so grateful that she was able to help us last minute and also do a meet and greet to meet Iza first. We would highly recommend her to anyone and will be using her again in the future :)”

“Very grateful for Laura watching my cats. She communicated effectively and the cats loved her as well. I find it hard to find good people to watch my cats and I’d recommend her over and over. Thanks so much again.”

“Laura was super nice. She did a wonderful job, might be a cat whisper. We have one shy boy but he seemed to love her ! Got lots of photos while we were away! If we ever need help again , Laura will be our first call!”

“Lindsay is wonderful!!! We used her for the first time for a weekend away to care for our kitties. They eat three times a day and have special supplements and meds. Lindsay did a great job making sure they got all their food and meds. She went above and beyond with care and keeping the house tidy. We are excited to have found her and will be booking again soon!”

“Janelle provided care for my doodle and is exceptional. Lola enjoyed her visits and I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was well taken care of from a professional pet sitter. Janelle is very accommodating and easy to work with. Highly recommended and I will definitely continue to request her assistance in the future.”

About: Currently a veterinary assistant at veterinary hospital and I’m an animal science major! Cared for and love animals all my life and looking for extra things to do for the summer with my free time💗 I work part time as Veterinary Assistant and I intern at a zoo as well! I see and care for a multitude of different species of animals everyday, while also owning my own dog! I’m mostly free nights and I have a couple days a week off. I’m very familiar with giving meds to animals, as well as catering to whatever needs they may have! just had surgery? I know how to care for them! I don’t mind going on long walks, or playing outside for long periods of time. If you have specific things in your routine you would like me to do with your pets, please let me know!
About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and currently help care for a high-energy Border Collie/Sheltie mix and three cats. I have experience caring for senior and special-needs pets, including administering transdermal and liquid medications and helping manage ongoing medical care for a cat with hyperthyroidism. I also helped care for a dog with hypothyroidism, pancreatitis, and liver disease, giving me experience following specialized care routines and monitoring pets with chronic health conditions. I’m comfortable reading cat and dog body language, handling multi-pet households, and caring for cats who are skilled escape artists. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs, and I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. I work part-time Tuesday through Thursday from 3–6 PM and Saturdays from 8 AM–3 PM. Outside of those hours, I have flexible availability for drop-in visits and house sitting and can provide feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and medication administration as needed. When caring for pets in their home, I follow their routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I pay close attention to cat and dog body language, take extra care with pets who may try to escape, and make sure doors, gates, and other safety measures are always secure. I’m also comfortable caring for senior and special-needs pets and administering medications according to owner instructions.

“Rachel went above and beyond for the health of our cats. She knew something was wrong with our cat and went to the emergency vet with him. She is so caring and I really appreciate everything she did for the health and safety of our pets. 😭 can’t thank her enough”

“Shannon took care of our kitties while we were away for a few days. They were very well taken care of and loved seeing her again! She is wonderful with them! She communicates very well with us-we get pictures and a nice note on how the kitties were doing! Highly recommend! Thank you!”

“Tyler was great! It was our first time hiring a sitter for our girls and using Rover. Tyler was excellent with communication, and even came to our home twice before our first trip to confirm all of the instructions. Everyday he showed up when he was supposed to and gave a detailed report of how each visit went. He was extremely careful when entering and leaving our home as he was made aware that one of our cats was an escape artist. We were very comfortable having Tyler in our home taking care of our cats and he did a great job! We look forward to our next trip and hiring Tyler to come back. In the past, we've packed up our girls and stress them out to have a family member watch them in their space. Tyler allowed us to keep our girls in their own home with familiarity and in keeping with their same feeding schedule. Our girls were calm when we returned home and didn't skip a beat. I highly recommend Tyler's services!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for nearly 20 years, and I’ve loved them for even longer. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and even chickens—so I’ve always known that pets come in all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I’m now a proud cat mom, and I still spend time with my beloved mini poodle, Riley, who lives with my parents (and is very much the spoiled youngest child). Whether it’s a quick drop-in or some one-on-one playtime, I treat every pet like family—with care, patience, and a whole lot of love. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and happy to send updates along the way to give you peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone who truly gets animals and will care for your pet like her own—I’m your girl. Let’s connect! Right now, I have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m able to dedicate my full attention to the pets I care for. Whether it’s a drop-in or a stay at my home, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches—they’ll have plenty of company, care, and supervision throughout the day. I love making pet care part of my daily routine, and I’m happy to structure my day around what works best for them. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, I treat them like family. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely—meals, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles—all in the comfort of their own space. I’m tidy, respectful, and always keep you updated with photos and notes so you know your pet is in great hands. At my home, your pet will stay in a clean, cozy raised ranch with plenty of space to relax and a yard for fresh air and supervised outdoor time. I do have cats, but they tend to keep to themselves and usually hide when guests are around—so your pet will have their own space and won’t be bothered. I create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet can feel comfortable, relaxed, and right at home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
