About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life and have been lucky enough to have a dog by my side for most of it. I’ve also cared for family and friends’ dogs over the years, as well as provided drop-in visits for cats. I truly enjoy caring for animals and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. I am home the majority of the day, giving your pet plenty of love, playtime, and frequent potty breaks, along with lots of cuddles, attention, and companionship throughout the day! I live in a ranch-style home with no stairs, making it easy and comfortable for your pup to get around. While I don’t have a fenced-in backyard, I have a large yard with a dog lead, and I’m happy to take your dog on walks as well. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, because I want them to feel right at home! 😊

I just recently moved to South Windsor and unfortunately my last sitter could not make the travel, so I had to start the process of finding a new one two weeks before my trip. My cats are post-Covid pets and I work from home full time, so that is to say they are ALWAYS around me! Bc of their constant human presence I have a lot of anxiety about leaving them IIt’s not them, it’s me), so I was not totally surprised that the first two novella-length anxiety purge sitting requests I sent declined instantly lol. Rachel was undeterred though, and accepted the daunt of my manifesto. She showed up right on time for meet and greet, despite a thunder and lightning downpour! She impressed me instantly with her positive attitude and polite demeanor, and as I was walking her around the house showing her things, she recalled details from my email that I had forgotten I wrote. Incredible!! I felt at ease right away. The sit went flawlessly. She has a gift, and my two single-human-bonded girls warmed up to her right away, coming out to see her upon arrival and staying during her sit for treats and play and PLAY SHE DID! Let me assure you - she uses the time to actually entertain them instead of just “sitting.” She also went above and beyond elsewhere; going down to the basement to clean up litter-robot tossings (totally on her own volition!), brought my trash bins up to the curb, and brought in my mail for me. I had also mentioned that I have cameras in the house to keep an eye on the cats if needed, and gave her permission to unlplug them during her stay if they made her uncomfortable but she did not; which says a heck of a lot about her character. I’m so thankful she yes’d me after the two immediate no’s. She put my mind at complete ease. I didn’t even feel compelled to check on the cameras at all - in every photo she sent the girls looked happy and engaged, and her updates were concise and useful. She gave me my vacation back and I’m submitting another request as soon as I click “post.””

About: The best part of any given day for me is usually seeing a dog or cat. I’ve been recommended by friends and neighbors to take care of their lovable critters and figured I’d give Rover a try! I am currently working part time and have plenty of flexibility when it comes to pet care opportunities. I like to spend more time rather than less when it comes to lovable pets. About: Growing up, pet sitting was my favorite job. I would spend summers taking care of pets. I've never had a house without pets from cats to dogs to birds to rabbits, we've had a happy and full household! I currently have 3 cats, Mo, Kiko, and Benny, and I couldn't ask for a better trio to spend my days with. I would love to give your pets the same love and care. I'm very in tune with reading animals and I will make sure they have the boundaries and comfort they need while you are away. I have a full time job that is flexible during the day to take care of your animals as needed. From mid August to mid November I coach college volleyball. My schedule is a bit hectic so I have blocked out some time-but if you have questions on a date that isn’t available, please ask. I can most likely work around my schedule! Safety is important to me. Animals can be afraid when someone new walks in the house. I will arrive quiet and slow and let animals come to me. For cats, I will give them their space until they are ready to interact. For dogs-I am big on safety and comfort and I would make sure to keep your pup in a safe atmosphere while we enjoy some fresh air and exercise.

About: I volunteered so much the guy who ran the shelter told me I need more human friends 😅😂 I jog twice a day, once in the morning and right before sunset, and would love to bring your furry friend along with me! I don’t have my own pets so your dog will have all of my attention. Volunteering at an animal shelter for 5 years taught me so much about different breeds. The main thing I learned is that every dog is just as unique as every human. Their like kids, you need to earn their trust and when you do it’s super rewarding. Can bathe (dogs or kittens up to 3-4 months) , give medication, walk, run around, spend time, playtime just about anything when it comes to cats and dogs! Feel free to reach out! Pretty flexible. I care for pets with patience, affection, playtime, cuddles, fresh food and water, walks, and plenty of attention. I treat every cat and dog like family.

Rebecca sent me a bunch of really good pictures and pictures of them playing. I am very hesitant with who I leave my baby girl with but I could tell with the amount of questions she asked the she had ALOT of knowledge and experience. Rebecca made sure to ask about any allergies and if she’s good with other dogs, ect. Also it make me feel a lot better knowing she is CPR certified, & could give my dog CPR if needed. Will 100% be using Rebecca again.”
About: For the past couple of years I have been pet sitting for a colleague and friend of mine and I absolutely love it. I have experience with dealing with dogs with some special needs and I am more than welcome to learn. The youngest I have had was 4 years old and then all the way up to 15 years old. Let me take the load off your shoulders and be able to take care of your fur babies. Though I love dogs, please know that I REALLY love cats too. I am catgirl at heart so please be rest assured that I will take amazing care of them as well. I used to have a feral cat, now with my loving parents 🐈.
