“Amber always does such a great job with the animals. She is always on time and stays for the entirety of the visit ensuring the animals get the love and human attention and affection when I'm too far away to give to them. Highly recommend booking Amber for your pet drop in needs!”

“We had the BEST experience with Kimberley watching our dog while we were out of the country. She was absolutely incredible and took very good care of him! She sent photos and updates each day and we felt comfortable that he was in good hands! We HIGHLY recommend her!!!”

“I can't thank Andrea enough for taking care of my 2 cats. She was patient, calm, kind, and just wonderful with my fur family. Even over Thanksgiving, she visited to refresh water, food, and the litter box and sent pictures of each cat, and let me know how they were doing. It was an awesome stress relief during my trip and I knew my kitties were well taken care of. 5 stars and highly recommended to look after your fur family.”
“Savannah did a wonderful job taking care of our two pups while we were away for the weekend. She was very attentive with lots of pictures, and details about each visit. I will definitely recommend her to friends and use her in the future! ?????”

About: Hi! I’m Bridgette. I’m 29 years old and I have 6 year old Aussie named Bo and a 1.5 year old grey tabby named Cleo. Ever since I was little, I’ve always had an animal in my family whether that being a dog or a cat. You might see my reviews are from a couple years ago, since then I graduated with my RN moved away to Raleigh for a short time and have settled in Easley, SC. I have the most experience with dogs ranging from Yorkie size to Labrador size and cats. As you can tell by having a dog who needs exercise, you can catch us on walks or playing ball/frisbee in the dog park located at my apartment complex. I decided to re-join Rover as I recently moved to the area and wanted to spend my free time playing with animals in my spare time! When it comes to boarding, I normally only like to do max 2 night due to work schedules. However, please feel free to contact me with any requests or questions! Happy Rovering! 😺🐶 I am on an RN schedule, so I will likely be off for 4 days a week. I’m pretty flexible when it comes to availability, just ask me! Animals are treated as though they are my children. I always say my children have 4 legs (a 5 year old dog and cat). I tend to spoil my animals because I always find a reason to buy at least one of them something when I go to the store. I know most people have their our routines with their animals and I will absolutely abide by that in your home.

About: For the last five years I house sat and walked many dogs but my primary job was to care for a single house of 8 dogs as well as other farm animals. The dogs ranged from puppies to end of life, and as such I am comfortable caring for any dog at any age. It was so much fun (and work) getting to learn each dogs personality and habits and catering to those needs. This includes individualized walks and playtime's, special treats as each dog has their favorite, as well as caring and cleaning up after dogs when they have potty problems. I'm capable and comfortable administering any medicine if needed. I'm flexible and can work with your schedule. I can't wait to meet your dog!
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years through personal recommendations from friends and families. I’ve stayed overnight with dogs in mountain cabins, taken them on walks, fed them, played with them, and made sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m active, responsible, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I understand how important trust is when leaving a pet with someone, and I always treat every dog with patience, love, and attention like they were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend quality time with pets throughout the day. I enjoy being active outdoors, so I love taking dogs on walks, hikes, and giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in both my home and my client’s home. I follow feeding routines, pay close attention to their behavior and needs, and give them lots of patience, love, and attention while their owners are away.

Thanks to Amber I was able to go away in vacation and not check in on my cats 24/7. This was my first time not leaving them with family, so I was nervous. But by the 2nd day I realized I wasn't checking in on the kitty cams! Thank you for taking care of the kitties.

Celia is responsible, reliable, dependable and trustworthy. We are pleased with the service she provided for our two cats while we were gone. She was on time every day, followed all instructions, including play time. Furthermore, she regularly sent text and photos/short video updates. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats. We truly appreciate her professionalism and genuine attention and care. We highly recommend her.

Renata did an amazing job checking on my cat while I was gone on a long trip, after another sitter I normally use had to cancel. He's not social and she did a great job of communicating around that and making sure he was still taken care of, getting lots of treats and making sure food and water was taken care of. She went above and beyond taking my trash out as well. Thank you!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
