“Thanks to Amber I was able to go away in vacation and not check in on my cats 24/7. This was my first time not leaving them with family, so I was nervous. But by the 2nd day I realized I wasn't checking in on the kitty cams! Thank you for taking care of the kitties.”

“This was my first time using Rover. I was nervous like everyone else probably was. But Kim went above and beyond to make sure my baby boy was well taken care of. I recommend her 1000%.”

“I can't thank Andrea enough for taking care of my 2 cats. She was patient, calm, kind, and just wonderful with my fur family. Even over Thanksgiving, she visited to refresh water, food, and the litter box and sent pictures of each cat, and let me know how they were doing. It was an awesome stress relief during my trip and I knew my kitties were well taken care of. 5 stars and highly recommended to look after your fur family.”
“Ashley was great. Sent photos every day she visited and went above and beyond to help out when my genius cat managed to get a HVAC vent off and get stuck in the vents under the house on the last day 😅.”

“Corrina, is AMAZING to say the least!! She was patient, kind and very loving. Communication was outstanding, and always on time. I hate bragging on her so much, because I don't want her to ever be too busy for our family!!! This is definitely her calling and any family would be blessed to have her!!”

“Amber is fantastic! This was my first time using Rover and let me tell you, she is so great! The pups loved her from the first meet! Will definitely use her more often! Thank you so much Amber!”

About: I have owned pets all of my life. Over the years, I have owned dogs, cats, chinchillas, and conures. Pets are members of your family, not just animals living in your house! I am 65 years old and I currently substitute teach part time. I would be very flexible with hours to visit to your home and when I come see your pet; I will treat them as if they were my own. When coming into your home, I would take the time to get to know your pets needs and personality. Every pet is an individual. They need to be treated with respect and loving kindness.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years through personal recommendations from friends and families. I’ve stayed overnight with dogs in mountain cabins, taken them on walks, fed them, played with them, and made sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m active, responsible, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I understand how important trust is when leaving a pet with someone, and I always treat every dog with patience, love, and attention like they were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend quality time with pets throughout the day. I enjoy being active outdoors, so I love taking dogs on walks, hikes, and giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in both my home and my client’s home. I follow feeding routines, pay close attention to their behavior and needs, and give them lots of patience, love, and attention while their owners are away.

“Savannah was the absolute best. We could not have asked for a better pet sitter for our first time using in home services/Rover. She updated us daily with a lot of photos from every visit. She was very punctual and quick to respond. Our pets really seemed to enjoy her company while we were away. We will certainly be repeated customers and highly recommend Savannah!”

About: For the last five years I house sat and walked many dogs but my primary job was to care for a single house of 8 dogs as well as other farm animals. The dogs ranged from puppies to end of life, and as such I am comfortable caring for any dog at any age. It was so much fun (and work) getting to learn each dogs personality and habits and catering to those needs. This includes individualized walks and playtime's, special treats as each dog has their favorite, as well as caring and cleaning up after dogs when they have potty problems. I'm capable and comfortable administering any medicine if needed. I'm flexible and can work with your schedule. I can't wait to meet your dog!

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Easley. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
