“Michelle is amazing. She went above and beyond when she stayed at our house and watched the cats. We were able to relax on our vacation because she was so good about communicating and sending pictures of the cats. The house was spotless when we came home and she even watered the grass for us. Will definitely be using again!!!!”

“Wonderful sitter who took great care of all my cats of varying ages, moods and neediness - and a dog in the mix! Shianne was very thoughtful and shared pictures and updates every day, so I never had to worry about a thing!”

About: I'm a cat enthusiast! I would love to operate a cat sanctuary one day. I've been caring for animals almost my entire life and currently have two cats (ages 9 & 2.5) and one dog of my own (age 12). I will show your babies nothing but love (including your dogs!!). I know how hard it can be to trust others with your fur babies but I promise to take great care of them. I currently work full-time (9am-5:30pm M-F) from home and am able to make stops before and after work. I have most weekends free and am flexible for whatever care you need. I will follow whatever instructions you have for caring for your pets. If in my home, I do have a fenced in yard to make it easier for dogs to run around and use the bathroom. I have an extra room/office space to keep cats separate from my own. I currently have a feeding schedule for my own pets (morning & evening). I ensure my cats have a clean litterbox by scooping every morning and night. I take my dog out every few hours during the day for potty breaks and try and go on at least one walk a day. I love to walk so it's often more than once a day. We keep lots of toys in the home and I try and play with them a couple times a day if not more.
“Once again Christopher did a great job. He provided excellent communication while we were away especially given the snow storm. Ciara and our house were in great shape when we returned. Thank you Christopher!”

About: I’m a veterinary assistant with 7 years of experience in the field and currently enrolled in veterinary technician school. I’ve grown up with and around both dogs and cats my whole life. My background in general practice, emergency, rescue, and boarding allows me to provide knowledgeable, compassionate care for pets of all ages and medical needs. What sets me apart is my ability to recognize health concerns, administer medications if needed, and give you peace of mind knowing your pet is being cared for by someone with professional veterinary experience. I treat every pet like they’re my own! I work full time during the week 8-4pm but I am free in the mornings and evenings and on most weekends to take care of your fur babies! I always make sure to do whatever makes them most comfortable and happy. If the animal likes to play outside and chase a ball that’s what we will do, if they’d rather lay on a couch and get belly rubs, then we will do that instead!
“We loved having our pup stay with Jana! Our dog was one of the crew at Jana’s while we were traveling, and it felt like leaving her with a friend. Couldn’t ask for a better setup.”

“Jerry is an excellent dog sitter and in my own house. I couldn't have picked a better person for Roux. I received pictures of Roux everyday and she looked so happy. I would like to send Jerry a hardy Thank you”

“Shannon did a great job with our two cats. Will definitely use her in the future every time we take a trip! So glad we were able to find somebody as dependable as her so we could enjoy our vacation and not worry!😊”

“Alexis was amazing! She kept me updated on my pup, she was respectful of our home and she even left us flowers and did the laundry!!! I would recommend her to everyone!!!! Thank you Alexis, we appreciate you so much!”

“Anna came to meet our tiny Yorkie, Teddi” 2 weeks before she was asked to housesit. Teddi fell in love with her right away. She updated us twice a day and took pics of her and Teddi .It was very comforting knowing that Anna and Teddi were inseparable and Teddi loved her snuggle time and tummy scratches. We will definitely request Anna again Teddi loves her!”

“Payton was so incredible with our pup! She sent lots of photos and updates, I could tell our dog was in great hands. She was super flexible and accommodating to his schedule. I would highly recommend her services, we’ll be using her again for sure!”

About: I have my own two dogs who have never shown signs of aggression or any territorial behaviors. They love all dogs and their favorite thing to do is open their home to new friends. I’m extremely active on weekends and weekday evenings and love to take my own dogs to play, so they are always looking for friends to run with. I’ve always been surrounded by dogs and have also lived in apartments where my roommates would have dogs and I’d watch them and hangout with them constantly. I am a pediatric therapist at a nearby facility in TR! I work full time with full flexibility to go in late, come home early, or leave to let your pup play/eat/potty! My partner works from home and spends a lot of the time with our pups as well- we would add yours right to the family for full days of play and love! I live near Swamp Rabbit Trail and Furman University for all adventures! I have a fenced in backyard, dog park, and a neighborhood for frequent walks. There are tons of opportunities to for pups in this area! I took a small break from Rover to buy a home and get settled. Now that we’re in and adjusted, I’m too excited to open my home back up to your loved pets. Can’t wait to take care of the most important part of your family! I am available everyday of the week. Although I work full time, my primary job is to care for my own fur babies and yours will be added straight to the family! I also have a partner whom I live with whose schedule is flexible and adores pups as much as I do (if not more). I prefer to a pup who’s parents are willing to do early or late pickups and drop offs as it tends to work better. Midday may get tricky, but I am more than willing to work with you. I have a crate if needed, but since someone will be with the dogs so often, I do not see a use! My other two dogs would love nothing more than to play and hang with their new puppy friend! I also offer regular updates, pictures, and videos of your pup enjoying their stay!
“Cindy is amazing!! She kept me up-to-date on Riley all throughout the weekend and sent the cutest pictures of her. She took such good care of Riley and the house. I felt so good knowing that Riley was in good and loving hands. I highly recommend her and look forward to having Cindy again!”

About: Hi everyone! My name is Molly, a recent college grad based in DC who absolutely adores dogs. Having grown up with three furry companions and a family deeply involved in fostering, I've had a lifelong passion for caring for pets. With 8 years of experience in pet sitting, I understand the importance of trust and reliability when it comes to your beloved companions. Looking forward to meeting and walking your furry friends! 🐾 #DogLover #PetSitter Currently, I'm seeking opportunities to pet sit on weekends when I'm not at work, and I'm available for dog walking in the evenings as well. If it were the right fit, I could occasionally do dog-sitting during weeks. It's crucial to remember that for dogs, this is their everyday life. Maintaining a friendly and loving attitude towards them is essential, ensuring they feel comfortable as you enter their environment. I love spending quality time with dogs and adjusting to their lifestyle. Whether that be playful, energetic, or more relaxed and snuggly!
“Riley did a fantastic job with our dog. Not only did she keep us constantly updated with pictures, but she treated him so well and gave him a great week with her. She also kept our house in wonderful shape. We will absolutely book with Riley again!”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Easley walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Easley maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Easley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Easley. On Rover:
- 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
