About: I’ve taken care of dogs, puppies, and senior dogs since I was 5! We are a dog loving family looking forward to loving on new friends! I am currently a stay at home mom with great flexibility and I have 4 kids from 10-17 who also loving caring for dogs and animals. We have an invisible fenced yard, lots of paths for walking, lots of extra toys, plenty of treats, and a large yard for them to play with our senior pup.

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs through my professional work in veterinary care. I’ve cared for and handled dogs with a wide range of personalities, sizes, ages, and needs, including providing daily care, exercise, and following individualized routines. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who need extra attention, patience, or close monitoring. I’m reliable, attentive to detail, and quick to notice changes in a pet’s behavior or wellbeing. Most importantly, I treat every dog with patience, compassion, and the same level of care I would want for my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday through Friday from 7 AM–4 PM, but I’m available before and after work, as well as during my lunch break, for pet visits and care. I’m available from 5–7 AM, 11 AM–1 PM, and 4–8 PM during the week. My weekends are completely open, so I have plenty of flexibility for longer visits, walks, drop-ins, and extended stays. I also have two cats of my own, so caring for animals is already an important part of my everyday life! I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. In a client’s home, I follow their feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions closely while making sure their pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different energy levels and personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine and preferences. My professional animal-care experience has also taught me to be very attentive to changes in behavior or wellbeing. About: I think that life is about being happy and animals of all shapes and sizes make me happy! I have had multiple pets all of my life, from bearded dragons and snails to cats and dogs but now I have settled with my older toy rat terrier pup and my fat orange cat! I was able to achieve my pet first aid certification through the American Red Cross but it since expired (they are valid for one year) but I thought it was worth mentioning that I have been trained. I work in Columbia M-F but live in Holts Summit, MO. I am willing to work in Columbia, Jefferson City or Holts Summit. I’m working full time but can do check-ins/walks during my lunch break, before 8am or after 5pm on weekdays. Weekends are much more flexible as I don’t work on Saturdays or Sundays. I am comfortable with crate training and of course fenced in yards are great! I have no issues with walking pups on a leash. I live in Holts Summit where we have a leash law so leash and a decent harness would be required for stays with me. I have a huge yard to walk them around in!
