“Omg!! Margaret was heaven sent! Our cousin didn’t answer his door to get our pup just 4 1/2 short hours before our flight boarded out of Stl. I ran to Rover and begged for a last minute board. Margaret graciously accepted Teddy into her home and took such good care of him. She was very communicative and kept me informed of how he was doing over this 3 day stay. Our flights were delayed by over 12 hours she was very flexible and allowed him to stay an extra day with no problem. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, puppies, and senior dogs since I was 5! We are a dog loving family looking forward to loving on new friends! I am currently a stay at home mom with great flexibility and I have 4 kids from 10-17 who also loving caring for dogs and animals. About: I have grown up around and loved pets since I was 7 years old! Many parts of my childhood I grew up with 5 dogs, but we just recently got our first cat. My partner is also an animal lover and grew up with multiple pets his entire life (his mom is a veterinarian!). We now have a 6 month old dachshund, Clover, and a cat, Stella Dallas! We are students so we have really relaxed schedules, and spend a lot of our time working from home. We live in a house that has a large privacy fence with a perfect sized backyard. We joined Rover to share our love with your animals! 🥰🐾 My partner and I are both students and I work a remote job. We spend a lot of our time not in class at home with our animals! I have a fenced in yard with a privacy fence. My dog Clover will keep your dog company as she loves to play with all of her cousins! Clover is crate trained so I have experience with that, but I don’t mind if your dog is not! I spend a lot of my time at home so your pup or cat will always be getting attention and the love they deserve while you’re away! :)

Because my schedule is flexible, I can also follow your dog’s normal feeding, medication, exercise, and rest routine as closely as possible. Safety, structure, and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and a climate-controlled indoor dog space with heating, air conditioning, and padded flooring for hot, cold, or rainy days. Dogs are carefully introduced, monitored during play, fed separately, and given scheduled breaks to prevent overstimulation. Overnight, each visiting dog sleeps safely in their own crate. I always follow the owner’s instructions and tailor care to each dog’s individual personality and needs. I am also certified by the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid & CPR.
About: I think that life is about being happy and animals of all shapes and sizes make me happy! I have had multiple pets all of my life, from bearded dragons and snails to cats and dogs but now I have settled with my older toy rat terrier pup and my fat orange cat! I was able to achieve my pet first aid certification through the American Red Cross but it since expired (they are valid for one year) but I thought it was worth mentioning that I have been trained. I work in Columbia M-F but live in Holts Summit, MO. I am willing to work in Columbia, Jefferson City or Holts Summit. I’m working full time but can do check-ins/walks during my lunch break, before 8am or after 5pm on weekdays. Weekends are much more flexible as I don’t work on Saturdays or Sundays. I am comfortable with crate training and of course fenced in yards are great! I have no issues with walking pups on a leash. I live in Holts Summit where we have a leash law so leash and a decent harness would be required for stays with me. I have a huge yard to walk them around in!
