About: I have grown up around and loved pets since I was 7 years old! Many parts of my childhood I grew up with 5 dogs, but we just recently got our first cat. My partner is also an animal lover and grew up with multiple pets his entire life (his mom is a veterinarian!). We now have a 6 month old dachshund, Clover, and a cat, Stella Dallas! We are students so we have really relaxed schedules, and spend a lot of our time working from home. We live in a house that has a large privacy fence with a perfect sized backyard. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, puppies, and senior dogs since I was 5! We are a dog loving family looking forward to loving on new friends! I am currently a stay at home mom with great flexibility and I have 4 kids from 10-17 who also loving caring for dogs and animals. I have a fenced-in yard where dogs can safely play and get some outdoor time, and there are no other pets in my home. I do have three roommates who are all comfortable around dogs and would be happy to give your pup some extra love! I'm also able to crate your dog if needed and will always follow your instructions to help them feel safe and comfortable. If your pet is more comfortable in their own environment, I'm happy to stay at your home or do drop-in visits instead. About: Growing up on a 2,500-acre farm, I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals—but dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I’ve never known life without one! I was raised with Golden Retrievers, Labradors, English Bulldogs, Yorkies, and Weimaraners and have experience caring for many other breeds, including German Shepherds, Great Pyrenees, Yorkies, Corgis, Great Danes, and Border Collies. As a certified dog trainer, I understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and set of needs. I treat every dog in my care like one of my own, providing plenty of love, attention, structure, playtime, and individualized care. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and a climate-controlled indoor dog space with heating, air conditioning, and padded flooring for hot, cold, or rainy days. Dogs are carefully introduced, monitored during play, fed separately, and given scheduled breaks to prevent overstimulation. Overnight, each visiting dog sleeps safely in their own crate. About: I think that life is about being happy and animals of all shapes and sizes make me happy! I have had multiple pets all of my life, from bearded dragons and snails to cats and dogs but now I have settled with my older toy rat terrier pup and my fat orange cat! I was able to achieve my pet first aid certification through the American Red Cross but it since expired (they are valid for one year) but I thought it was worth mentioning that I have been trained. I work in Columbia M-F but live in Holts Summit, MO. I am willing to work in Columbia, Jefferson City or Holts Summit. I’m working full time but can do check-ins/walks during my lunch break, before 8am or after 5pm on weekdays. Weekends are much more flexible as I don’t work on Saturdays or Sundays. I am comfortable with crate training and of course fenced in yards are great! I have no issues with walking pups on a leash. I live in Holts Summit where we have a leash law so leash and a decent harness would be required for stays with me. I have a huge yard to walk them around in!
