“Where do I begin with this 5-star review of Kelly C??? This was Champ's 3rd visit with Kelly and her husband and we already knew our pup was in the best of hands! We felt very secure in leaving him with Kelly and her pack for a longer stay as we were traveling overseas. Well, thankfully he was in such trusted hands, because a few days into our trip, Champ, a German shepherd, developed bloat (GDV) which is life threatening and requiring emergency surgery. Sadly, this is all too common in larger breeds like Shepherds. Thanks to Kelly's and her husband's quick action (and with constant communication with us in a different time zone), Champ arrived at the emergency clinic in time, was immediately rushed into surgery, and the amazing specialists at University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center in Columbia treated him successfully. Post surgery, Kelly and her husband took wonderful care of him in his recovery until we could return from our trip to a happy and healthy dog. Needless to say, we are incredibly thankful to have found Kelly and her family and can't say enough about how grateful we are to them! If we could give more than 5 stars, they would be difficult to count!”

About: I grew up with a cat and found a love for all my friends dogs. I have been working with animals since I can remember. I have also worked with Second Chance and have taken their train the trainer type class. I love training new tricks and starting a new bond with most animals (no spiders or snakes). I am a remote worker, which means I can come to you. I am able to take breaks throughout the day to take walks or give some attention to the Animals. Also if you have a puppy that needs to be potty trained I have a great schedule for that. While I will be coming to your place to take care of your animals, I would prefer to meet up at least once before watching your pet to make sure there are no problems. I also believe if I am watching your pet at your home any messes are on me to clean.
About: Cats have always been my favorite pet to own. Having one ever since I can remember. Cleaning litter boxes and any cat mess is part of my system. Owning two cats of my own. I can provide a couple of toys to bring, or play using your toys. Feeding and watering the cat. Any special requirement is never too big to keep the cat happy as can be. Even if the cat can be grumpy, I’m patient and won’t make the cat uncomfortable or more upset.

About: I have a senior pet myself. She is a 15 year old shitzu that I trained (If you know about shitzus they can be very sassy/stubborn lol). I have also raised two of my cats from 6 weeks old. Both my dog and cats are very friendly and tolerable. My boyfriend is home most of the day. I am a waitress so I don’t go into work until 4 or later usually I get out at 9-10 but usually earlier. Besides that I am always home. I care for pets that I am watching just like I would my own! My apartment building has a big yard and i have many good pet friendly parks very close by. I have multiple dog toys, treats, and dog bed (but my dog is small) I also have multiple cat towers, scratchers, toys, and treats. My pets are feed 3x a day morning, noon, and night. My dog is walked at least 2x a day not including potty breaks.

Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. About: Ive taken care of both my own families animals for years, along with friends and families pets. I grew up with dogs of all sizes, from a teacup chihuahua to an adult husky. “Where do I begin with this 5-star review of Kelly C??? This was Champ's 3rd visit with Kelly and her husband and we already knew our pup was in the best of hands! We felt very secure in leaving him with Kelly and her pack for a longer stay as we were traveling overseas. Well, thankfully he was in such trusted hands, because a few days into our trip, Champ, a German shepherd, developed bloat (GDV) which is life threatening and requiring emergency surgery. Sadly, this is all too common in larger breeds like Shepherds. Thanks to Kelly's and her husband's quick action (and with constant communication with us in a different time zone), Champ arrived at the emergency clinic in time, was immediately rushed into surgery, and the amazing specialists at University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center in Columbia treated him successfully. Post surgery, Kelly and her husband took wonderful care of him in his recovery until we could return from our trip to a happy and healthy dog. Needless to say, we are incredibly thankful to have found Kelly and her family and can't say enough about how grateful we are to them! If we could give more than 5 stars, they would be difficult to count!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive to details so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m also comfortable with basic puppy routines, reinforcing good habits, and providing calm, gentle care for anxious or older pets. My goal is always to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, but I do have an hour lunch break each day. For pets local to the Jefferson City area, I’m often available during lunch for potty breaks, walks, feeding, medication, check-ins, or just some extra love and attention during the day. Outside of work hours, I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care depending on availability. I always do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout each stay or visit. 🏡 Boarding your pet: I do have two friendly and playful dogs of my own — a Great Dane and a Goldendoodle — along with 3 cats that mostly keep to themselves. Because of this, I always like to make sure personalities and temperaments are a good fit for everyone’s safety and comfort. I also completely understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, and that’s okay! I have a partially finished basement that allows pets to be safely separated if needed while still being comfortable and cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet feels at home. 🐾 Pet sitting and drop-in visits in your home: I know many pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, playtime, medications, or simply providing companionship, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. 🚶♀️ Dog walks: Safety is always my biggest priority during walks.
