“Fawn is fairly new to Ximena and her pack. I wanted to have a back up sitter for when we wanted to board Fawn. Fawn gets very excited when we pull up to Ximena's house. She knows the dog "pack" and is excited to be there. When I pick her up at the end of the day, she is ready to have a nap, as she has had a busy day walking and playing. Ximena takes very good care of her. I recommend Ximena for caring for your small dog. She and her pack are great!”

About: My home is a dog lover's dream — two friendly dogs already live here and are always ready to make new friends. We have a fully fenced backyard (please make sure your pets are on flea and tick medicine as ticks have been bad this year), loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone — I'm always here. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, in the bed, wherever they're happiest. This is their vacation too. Whether your dog needs a playmate, a cozy couch to nap on, or both, they'll feel right at home. Pet care is genuinely woven into my day, not something I have to carve out time for. Since I work from home full-time, I'm always present — whether that's taking a mid-morning break to play in the backyard, keeping an eye on the pack while I'm at my desk, or just being available if anyone needs a cuddle or a quick romp outside. My own two dogs set the rhythm of the day — morning energy bursts, afternoon lounging, outdoor time whenever the mood strikes. Guest dogs just fold right into that routine. There's always someone to play with, always a sunny spot to nap in, and always a human nearby. My home is set up to be as dog-friendly as possible. The backyard is fully fenced, so dogs have safe, free access to outdoor space all day long — no leash required for backyard time. Inside, they're treated like family: furniture is fair game, the bed is open, and there are plenty of indestructible toys to keep them entertained. With two resident dogs already in the mix, guest dogs are never bored or lonely. There's always a playmate available, and I'm always nearby since I work from home full-time. I keep a close eye on group dynamics to make sure everyone is comfortable and playing nicely. I aim to keep routines as close to what your dog is used to as possible — feeding schedules, rest time, outdoor play — so the transition feels easy and low-stress for them. My goal is simple: your dog goes home happy, tired, and already looking forward to their next visit.

About: *due to my lovely regulars keeping me busy, I am unable to take new clients at this this time. You can still put in a request but I may not be able to take it. Thank you! I've had dogs my entire life and have taken care of neighbors/friends/professors dogs for years. I consider my dog my son and nothing is more important to me than making sure the dogs in my life and loved and well cared for. Since starting Rover spring 2022, I've watched over 100 dogs of many breeds and sizes, many of whom I've now watched multiple times and feel very bonded with. **** I am full for all repeating (i.e., weekly drop-ins/walks) requests currently. Feel free to still put in the request but depending on time, days, and your location, I will likely be unable to commit to repeat weekday services right now. I am also limiting housesitting mostly to past clients but you are welcome to still submit a request. I live in an apartment so I'm limiting services to dog walking, drop in visits, and housesitting for now. Flexible with times and lengths of these, however! I always make sure to set aside lots of time for pets and cuddles in all of my drop ins! I will also send lots of pictures and as many updates as you would like. I am a PhD student in psychology with generally flexible hours so I do best with dogs who can be left for 2-4 hours so I can attend classes and meetings. Depending on the day, I may not be able to do a midday individual drop-in or walk this semester but my weekend availability is wide open. For housesitting, it would be wonderful if it were a home where you would be okay with me bringing my (quiet, small, housetrained, 10 pound) dog with me so I don't have to leave him all night. Let me know if I should be aware of any household items your dog tends to eat, chew, or get into. Also let me know if there are any specific activities they especially enjoy - fetch, swimming, etc.

About: I have a senior pet myself. She is a 15 year old shitzu that I trained (If you know about shitzus they can be very sassy/stubborn lol). I have also raised two of my cats from 6 weeks old. Both my dog and cats are very friendly and tolerable. My boyfriend is home most of the day. I am a waitress so I don’t go into work until 4 or later usually I get out at 9-10 but usually earlier. Besides that I am always home. I care for pets that I am watching just like I would my own! My apartment building has a big yard and i have many good pet friendly parks very close by. I have multiple dog toys, treats, and dog bed (but my dog is small) I also have multiple cat towers, scratchers, toys, and treats. My pets are feed 3x a day morning, noon, and night. My dog is walked at least 2x a day not including potty breaks.

About: My family owned a large yellow lab and I was the care taker of him from a young age. I have taken care of pets for family and friends in the past and am looking to make use of my free time. I recently graduated from college and I am a member of the National Guard. I’m Not currently employed so my schedule is flexible as long if I am given advanced notice. I live in a single story duplex. The neighborhood is walkable but there are no fenced in yards. There are natural trails nearby to accommodate exercise for your pet.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs and have never thought of them as “just pets”, they're family! I've raised both a Beagle and a French Bulldog from puppyhood and have experience caring for senior dogs as well. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality, whether they're energetic and playful or happy to spend the day snuggled up on the couch. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust when you're away. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and cared for while giving you peace of mind. I'm a stay-at-home mom and work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pup attention, playtime, walks, and lots of love. Your dog's happiness and safety will always be my priority. We even have a separate room available for them who would feel more comfortable having their own quiet space while staying with us. My family recently moved to Missouri from Hawaii, where I had the opportunity to care for many wonderful dogs. I truly enjoy being around animals and would love to treat your furry family member like one of my own. For me, the pet care including my dog is the most priority in my life. I’m currently working as a freelance so my schedule is very flexible! I can definitely change my schedule to suit to your request, please feel free to let me know! I will pay my FULL attention to our dogs all the time, and if you have any requests I’d love to do anything you and your dog will love! Your pets' happiness and safety will always be my priority. About: My family has had cats ever since I was 12, I also rescued a goldendoodle 8 years ago and he has been my best friend ever since. I love all types of animals, and have experience with rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, and hamsters as well. I have been pet sitting and dog walking as a vet student for over a year now. I am a veterinary student in my clinical rotation years. I live in a duplex, meaning I have my own house with no roommates. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. I can pet sit from your house if you have multiple pets and are gone for days or pet sit from my own place if you have just a cat or a smaller dog. I live in a duplex at the moment by myself without any pets, but I pet sit for friends a lot, driving over to their places to let the dogs out/walk them, feed the cats/dogs/fish and clean the litter boxes, make sure the water bowls are filled, etc.
