About: I grew up with cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, hamsters, mice, rats, and even a chinchilla in my household. When I started petsitting in 2015, I started with neighbors pets, including backyard chickens, cats, and dogs. I've since expanded to include birds, fish, you name it! I have experience and feel comfortable with sick, elderly, and differently-abled pets, administering subcutaneous and oral medications, and helping with accommodations and physical needs. I am currently finishing up my final semester of school (Bachelors in Liberal Studies) and have free time during the day, M-F, before I go to my evening classes. Walking dogs (or cats!) would not only help fill my time, but also help me stay on track for my daily steps. When my schedule allows, I love housesitting as I tend to only travel a few times a year. I have been housesitting/petsitting for many years for neighbors and friends, who have extended my offerings to their friends and families. I am fairly flexible, within reason, as my schedule allows me to be. I feel comfortable staying in homes and taking care of them along with the pets, and keeping a safe and clean space for us all.

About: Hello neighbors. My name is Juyen. My dream since I was a little girl was to have a dog of my own. I didn't have the fortune of having a dog until I was in high school, but ever since then, I've never stopped living with animals. They are the best companions and my fur family currently consists of Koa, the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet and Nino, a cat born in the ivy of my backyard and whom I have adopted (who is mostly an outdoor cat). I welcome dogs of all sizes with the exception of very large dogs, over 100 lbs, because who is walking who at that point ;) Koa is super friendly and gregarious with other dogs, but also knows to leave them alone if they let her know. I am able to walk your dog as often as needed. I have a modest backyard where they can sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful weather we have here. Additionally, my dog is allowed on the couch, but I'm happy to follow your lead so your dog maintains their manners consistently either at my place or elsewhere. Your dog will get all the attention and love they deserve with me. If your dog needs special care and attention due to a medical issue or old age, I can administer special food, pills or shots as requested. I have a 2 dog per care max for boarding so that I am able to give each dog the time and attention they deserve. I hope to be the favorite auntie to your dog and a home away from home when you need to leave town or life gets too busy. I am in between jobs at the moment and working towards realizing a passion project, so my availability is wide open other than when I take off on rock climbing adventures every once in a while. I am an honest, trustworthy and dependable person you can rely on to care for your dog. Try me out! Thanks for your consideration! I look forward to meeting you and your dog one day. I’m home all week these days, so I’m available to care for your pet when you’re at work or away from home. I have a backyard for potty breaks and love taking walks/jogs/hikes to break up the day. I have a fenced in yard and your pet will have access to all the public spaces of my home. I’m happy to house/pet sit if preferred as well.

About: I have over 16 years of experience of dog-sitting and cat-sitting. In my own home, I'm well versed in managing an array of health and dietary issues from our new kitten Cowboy to our 6 year old cat Cooper and our beloved Godzilla girl who recently passed at 16+years. Whether your pet requires a special diet, extra comfort, or just some fun to shake up the monotony of the day, I'm here! With a flexible schedule, I'm available to care for your pet at times that work best for you and them! I'm available early mornings, during the day, or in the evening to adjust to your pet's needs to make sure my care aligns with their schedule. Your pet's safety and well-being are my top priorities! Whether I'm caring for your pets in your home or mine, I will ensure that they stay on their routine and feel as comfortable as possible whether you're at work for the day or out of town on a trip.

“Ariane is amazing. She took care of our two cats, one who is a finicky eater and the other will eat all of the finicky cats food. She did so much to help our finicky cat to make sure she ate. She keeps us well updated with pictures and a detailed description of her visit. Really helped our anxiety :)”

“We couldn’t love Alexis more and our real time with her hasn’t even started! So far we’ve done two meet and greets with our extra anxious and mostly blind little pup, before Alexis stays at our house for 5 days! She’s so calm and confident with our dog…I’m a huge fan of her energy and professionalism already!”

About: I’ve always been the first to take our loved ones out for a walk! I love connecting with our furry friends and catering to their needs. Done it all from brushing, petting, brushing teeth, bathing, wiping up barf, picking up poop. Happy to be your pet’s next friend! :) I’m part time worker so I was looking to fill in the gaps with those who love us the most, our pets! I have a lot of free time so why not connect with people and pets? :) Mostly looking for bookings from 6am-3pm :) The way I care for pets for others is by communicating with the pet parent and asking if there is anything in specific they’d like me to do for their loved ones! If not then definitely filling their food and water bowl, taking them outside to go potty, and make sure they are given tons of love (if they’d like that).

“This was our second time using Jackie to drop in and take our dog out. She is very nice and always on time. Our dog seems very happy when she stops by. Would recommend.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine love and hands-on experience I bring to every pet I care for. This isn’t just a side gig for me—pet care is what I do full time, and I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. I have three pets at home (a dog and two cats) and have also fostered over 10 cats, so I’m no stranger to handling different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I have experience caring for puppies and understand the importance of structure, patience, and positive reinforcement during their early stages. I’m also comfortable with senior pets and can provide gentle care, medication administration, and support with mobility or other age-related needs. Whether it’s creating a fun, enriching day for an active pup or providing calm, consistent care for a shy or elderly cat, I’m attentive to every detail. I believe in building trust—not just with pets, but with their people too. Pet care isn’t just a side hobby for me—it’s what I do full time! That means your pets will get the attention and care they deserve, without me having to juggle a 9–5 or rush through visits. My schedule is fully dedicated to making sure pets are happy, comfortable, and stress-free while their humans are away. Because I do this every day, I’m able to keep a consistent routine, stay flexible for special requests, and provide reliable, personalized care. Whether your pet needs daily meds, a little extra playtime, or just someone to sit nearby while they nap—I’m here for it all, on their schedule. As a pet owner myself, my biggest fear is leaving my pets at home and being afraid they won’t be properly fed and cared for. It’s a bit nerve racking asking a stranger to come into your home to care for your babies. This is actually why I decided to create a profile to do drop ins. Looking to provide the same amount of love and care to your babies as I’d hope for mine when I’m not home.

About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life, including my pitbull mix who was by my side for 13 years. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs-big, small, hi-energy, shy. Whether it’s walks, play, or just a hang, I treat every dog like my own. I’m currently self employed and work from home , so my schedule is pretty flexible during the day. I can easily work in multiple visits a day. As a pet owner & animal lover, I treat every animal as if it were my own. Because that’s how I would want my pets treated.

About: I am a college student who would love to take care of your pets! I have had dogs since I was born, specifically big dogs, and started to help care for them and walk them once I could walk. I have also helped care for and walk several dogs around the neighborhood and community, from a few day to a few weeks at a time. When we got my current dog, I was the one to train him as a puppy, and have continued to train him through his life. Further, I have experience caring for dogs with medical needs, as I give my dog meds daily, have taken him to the emergency vet, and sat with him through seizures. I have cared for several dogs at once, as well as dogs while caring for kids, and have care for small, medium, and big dogs, as well as all at once. I am excited to chat more and care for your pet! I currently take classes during the week, but have regular breaks through the day to hang out with your pup! I am also available all day most weekends, and start class late enough to care for your pets on weekday mornings! I love to spend time with your pets, playing with them and walking them to make sure they get their energy out, as well as making sure they have the things they need like food and water. In my home, pets are allowed throughout the house, and for your home I’d love to chat about what your pet needs!

About: My first job as a kid was dog walking and house sitting for neighbors, and I’ve always loved dogs. My partner and I have a small scruffy dog named Lyle, who I take care of during the day. We go on nice walks and love exploring the residential neighborhoods around us, admiring the different homes in LA. We moved to Eagle Rock from Brooklyn in December and have been enjoying settling in and staying active. Pet care is a natural part of my daily rhythm. As a freelance commercial and documentary filmmaker, my schedule is flexible, which allows me to be present and intentional in the way I care for our dog, Lyle. He’s a scruffy, sweet rescue who’s become a big part of our lives, and I make sure he knows he’s loved, cared for, and always on my mind. We go for two solid walks a day, usually one in the morning and one in the evening, and take a midday break to check the mail and get a little sun. I try to keep things consistent for him, and whether we’re exploring the neighborhood or just relaxing at home, I make sure he feels secure and seen. I care for pets with the same attention and love that I give to my own dog, Lyle. Whether in my home or a client’s, I focus on creating a consistent and comforting routine. I make sure pets feel loved, cared for, and secure by providing plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. My flexible schedule as a freelance filmmaker allows me to be present and attentive, tailoring care to each pet’s needs and personality.

Armando G.
“I've had the pleasure of having Christian pet-sit, plant-sit, and everything in between. He's the type of person that you truly trust to cover for you when you need him most and will often communicate things before they're even asked. Because he recognizes that peace of mind is as important as the helping hand itself. Not to mention Christian's love for cats and dogs has been lifelong, having had both throughout his life. My cat warmed up to him right away, and every time he watches her, I know she’s in great hands. It’s not just my cat either—neighbor cats literally flock to his apartment. It’s like they can sense how much he cares. If you're looking for someone who genuinely loves animals and takes the responsibility seriously, Christian is a truly amazing choice.”

“Kenya is a gem! She has house sat for me many, many times. We have three cats and a dog. She has taken really good care of all of them, and the house as well. We've entrusted her with our home and pets for a weekend here and there, but also for several weeks at a time on longer trips we've taken. I've always felt at peace knowing our furballs were in her hands. I've also always come home to a perfectly clean house and that's really important to me. She's a great communicator too. I"ve referred her several times to friends and neighbors and everyone has always been happy with her services. I highly recommend Kenya. 5 stars all around!”

Sara R.
