But I came back and Dustin had already gotten her used to the "Gentle Leader" leash......where did my crazy dog go that pulled my arms off???!!! She was transformed. Just enough discipline balanced with lots of love. I was super relieved to leave her in his care- he is excellent. (although I dont want too many people to book him so that he has no time for me again....)”

About: I am an experienced Veterinary Technician who has been nicknamed the cat whisperer. Although cats aren’t my only specialty! I love and care for all animals including; reptiles, insects, fish, and fractious cats or dogs. I am able to medicate your stubborn fur baby’s whether it’s oral or injectable medication, I offer free nail trims if needed while I stay at your home, and I’m able to monitor for any general signs of pain or discomfort and advise if a trip to the Vet is needed. With 5+ years in the Veterinary field and 8+ years of dog walking and pet sitting experience I can promise you your baby(s) will be in good care. During work days I am available to check on your pet early mornings before 7am, mid days around 12pm, and after 6pm. I have 3 days off during the week which will allow me to stay with your pet all day if needed. Trust is earned through gentle interactions and like humans all animals have their own personalities. I am experienced in reading animals body language and identifying if something is wrong. I am experienced in approaching and handling anxious dogs and cats. If extra love and patients is needed then that’s what they will get. I am also able to identify choking, coughing, or seizures and know animal safety very well. Your pet will always be safe with me and will never be in a situation where they will be harmed.

In recent years, I have taken care of my friends dogs Archie and baby while they’ve been on vacation and have also lived with two cats. I work from home so I have a fairly flexible schedule. I am available mid day to go on walks and can be accommodating to your pets needs for shorter or longer walks. I live with a cat so my home is set up for cats. I have a litter box and non toxic plants in the home
