About: With years of experience in private and public pet boarding, I strive to uphold YOUR standard of love and care for your furry family member(s) while you’re away. While working part time at a daycare, coming home to care for my furry family members is a full time job. Although no two pets are the exact same in their care, I can assist in helping them stick to their regular routines while you’re away. Caring for pets in a clients home will be done in the same manner as they care for them while they are home. I intend to maintain regular boundaries and be consistent with rules that have already been implemented.

About: Hi! My name is Emma and I am a current sophomore at PLNU with a huge heart for dogs. I dogsit and dog walk in the Loma area mainly due to the fact that I miss my dogs at home! I grew up with lots of dogs and cats in my household. I currently have 2 doggies, a crazy husky named Lola and a dash hound named Dexter. I also had a German Sheppard named Bailey who was a big part of my life. Other than my own pets I have pet sat for multiple years with multiple breeds ranging from big German Sheppards to little Scottish Terriers. Ever since moving to San Diego for college, I have missed my doggies so much. I came on Rover to be able to see meet some super sweet dogs and mainly to feed my love for dogs when I am away from home. I would love to meet and stop by multiple times to take care of your fur babies! Anytime you reach out let’s meet so I am able to meet you and your pet in person :) I am located in the Point Loma/Ocean Beach/Pacific Beach area. Please also reach out if you have any questions about my services! I am open almost all weekends and some afternoons depending on the day. I am working in San Diego this summer and would love to fill my weekends with dogs. I try my best to keep my availability very updated :) I am not from San Diego so I am totally missing my own dogs. I would be so excited to spend any time with your pets!

“I highly recommend Julie as a house sitter, especially for older dogs like ours. Julie administered medications twice a day and kept us up to date on our dog's well-being. She took good care of our house and left everything in order.”

“Kari has sitted for us a few times now and she is so great! The dogs love her and she is so communicative! We love her!”

“Jasmine was very caring to my baby kitties. She regularly sent us updates on how they're doing and what they're doing. My kitties are shy and Jazmine was patient and gave them time to get accustomed to her. After they opened up to her, the kitties loved rubbing up to her and eventually cuddling with her. She also left my house as clean as it was when I left. I'm so glad I found Jazmine. Now I know who to book next time. 😊”

“Alka was great! She took such amazing care of my pup and was easy to work with. Appreciated her coordinating with me to meet up prior and my dog absolutely adored her! Will absolutely be booking her again.”

“Thanks for taking care of Cooper.”

About: I’ve taken care of a lot of dogs ever since I was young. From pet sitting, as well as owning my own. I have two Rottweilers that are my favorite ever! I think dogs are one of the best companions a person can have, and overall I love spending time with animals! I include a bunch of add ons. Baths, Nail trims, brushing, adventure walks! I have open availability as of right now! So I’m open to whatever schedule is needed to make sure your dog is taken care of in the best way possible! Whether it's in my home or a client's home, I ensure their daily routines are maintained, offer plenty of playtime, exercise, and cuddles, and monitor their health and well-being. I also follow any special instructions for feeding, medication, or behavior management. For pet sitting in a client's home, I make sure to keep the environment familiar and stress-free, while offering updates and photos to keep owners informed. My priority is always the happiness and safety of your pet!

About: Hello there! My name is Josh, and I’m an enthusiastic dog caretaker who would love the chance to take care of your dog. At first glance, you might be unsure if this guy who looks like a pirate can reliably care for your furry friend. Rest assured, I am dedicated to meeting your dog’s needs in a safe and fun environment. I will ensure that your dog feels loved and happy. I prioritize open communication with pet owners to build trust. A little background about me: I currently have a rare brain tumor that makes it difficult for me to hold a regular job. The tumor is stable and only affects my vision in my left eye. I hope that with treatment, I will soon overcome this health challenge so I can return to school to become an MRI technician. In the meantime, I’m happy to work with Rover to save up for that goal. Taking care of your pets would mean a lot to me and would help me progress toward my aspirations. I promise to go above and beyond in my service to show my appreciation. I also have a well-behaved Belgian Malinois named Nezuko, who gets along with all dogs. If you’d like, we can arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand—I’d be happy to do so. If you'd like to see my pup, you can check out her Instagram: @just_nezuko_ig. Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I am on permanent disability so i am available at all times. I am still very active and I walk my own dog 3-4 miles a day. I have a huge park across the street that I take my dog to every day. If your dog is not good off-leash, I have a 50 ft leash they can use if they have a compatible vest. My dog is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. She does get very excited when she sees new dogs and people, but I've never seen her be aggressive with any dog or person.

About: I have flexible hours and the ability to travel. Happy to pet sit in your home or mine. Also, available for drop ins and dog walks, I’m retired and have plenty of hours for drop ins, dog walks, house-sitting, etc. I can be available for last minute overnight stays and can board your pet in my home as well. I can be available for pet sitting in your home, but if you’d like boarding, I live in a pet friendly, gated community. I am the proud dog mom to a friendly and elderly small female named Jojo.

About: I’ve spent years around all kinds of dogs—big, small, playful, shy—you name it! I’ve also helped out with cat sitting for an elderly neighbor, so I’m used to different pet personalities and needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cleanup, I’m on it. I really care about making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to make them feel like they’re hanging out with a new friend, not just a sitter. Right now, I’m not working and I’m off from school for the summer, which means I’ve got a super flexible schedule. Whether you need someone in the morning, afternoon, or evening—I’m available whenever your pet needs me! When I’m in your home, my goal is to keep things calm, clean, and comfy for your pet. I’m happy to tidy up (with your permission), make sure your furry friend has a cozy spot to relax, and of course, take care of any walks, bathroom breaks, or cleanup. I want your pet to feel totally at ease in their own space while you’re away.
