About: Hi! I’m Jasmine, new to Rover and currently offering discounted rates while I build my reviews. I provide attentive, reliable care and treat every pet like my own. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them truly makes me happy. I have over 20 years of experience, training in pet first aid, and a background in rescue and fostering, so I’m comfortable with everything from playful pups to shy or senior pets who just need a little extra patience and love. At home, I have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I completely understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I also offer house sitting and light cleaning, so not only are your pets taken care of, you’ll come home to a tidy, well-looked-after space too. I’m happy to help with things like bringing in mail, keeping things clean, and making sure everything runs smoothly while you’re gone. Expect lots of updates, cute moments, and peace of mind knowing your pets (and home!) are in good hands 💛 I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve throughout the day. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting, and can easily fit into your pet’s normal routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. Whether your pet needs early mornings, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles, I’ve got it covered! I provide care in your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their own space and routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, personality, and preferences to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. With experience in pet first aid, rescue, and fostering, I’m comfortable handling a variety of situations and always prioritize safety. I’m also respectful of your home and happy to help keep things tidy, bring in mail, and make sure everything is just as you left it, or better, when you return. You’ll get regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pets are getting lots of love and attention while you’re away 🐾 I am happy to meet at a coffee shop prior to your booking so you can ensure I'm the right fit!
About: I've spent my entire life caring for animals - over the years I've looked after more than 20–30 dogs and cats, each with their own personality and needs. That experience has taught me patience, empathy, and a deep respect for every animal I care for. Now I share my home with Teddy, my sweet Aussiedor who is incredibly friendly with both dogs and cats. My home is calm, safe, and full of love, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Why book with me: My home sits on a fully fenced yard with nearly 3,700 sqft of outdoor space - one of the largest private yards you'll find in Natomas. Your dog will have room to run, explore, and play freely in a safe, secure environment. I work from home, which means your dog is never left alone for long. I follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, and medication so their day feels familiar and comfortable. I also believe in giving back - I donate 25% of every booking to an Animal Shelter here in Sacramento or Sri Lanka. At the end of each month I send every client proof of the donation. When you book with me, your dog gets loved & another dog gets a chance. my work-from-home arrangement offers flexible hours, allowing me to easily adjust my schedule to accommodate your dog's walks. Whether you prefer mornings, midday, or afternoons, I can make it work. However, please do provide me with a day or two's notice in advance, so I can plan accordingly. Just keep in mind that I won't be able to do walks after 8pm. Your dog's well-being is important to me, and I'm excited to work together to ensure they get the exercise they need. I care for pets with patience, routine, and a lot of affection. In my home, I make sure they feel safe and relaxed, with plenty of attention, playtime, and quiet rest. I follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, and medication so their day feels familiar. In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s space and stick closely to their normal routine. I keep things clean, calm, and consistent, give regular updates if requested, and always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust. Every pet is cared for as if they were my own.

“Mindi was wonderful with Odin! She stopped by for a drop-in visit, gave him a nice walk, and made sure he was well cared for. I could tell he was happy and comfortable after their time together. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Markita was so sweet to my cat, Comet, and ensured she was comfortable while we were out of town. Markita was able to administer Comet’s medication. Thank you, Markita!”

“had a great experience working with Shang over a two week period. She walked and fed my dogs with so much care and reliability. I even had an “oops” moment where I mistakenly thought a day was booked when it wasn’t, and she was incredibly gracious and understanding when I reached out. Once we sorted out my mistake, she confirmed the remaining days and everything went smoothly. I truly appreciate her professionalism, kindness, and flexibility. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her!”

About: Hi, my name is Jacky! 👋🏽 I’m a dedicated and experienced pet sitter who truly treats every pet like my own. I’ve fostered dogs in the past, which means I’m comfortable working with a wide range of personalities—including shy, energetic, or more sensitive pups who need extra patience and care. At home, I have three dogs—a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix, a Poodle/Maltese mix, and a Shiba/Husky mix—so I’m very familiar with different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Whether your pet loves playtime, long walks, or just relaxing and cuddling, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always provide updates, photos, and clear communication for peace of mind. My goal is to make your time away stress-free—for both you and your pet! I maintain a consistent routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and regular potty breaks. I do work, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and care, along with regular updates. I provide safe, structured care with extra crates and a friendly, energetic Shiba/Husky to help burn energy and be a playful companion. In clients’ homes, I follow routines closely and give updates.
About: I’ve been watching pets of all sorts for the last 10 years from dogs and cats to chickens and ducks. I love animals and want to continue to work them! I’ve also owned dogs and cats in the past so I’ve had a lot of experience with them. I work part time as a nanny (8:45am-12:45) but I’m free anytime before that and in the afternoon I am also free. I also love going on walks and would love to take a buddy along the way. To insure your pets safety I will make sure they are properly secured however is needed before heading out this can include but not limited to creating or locking fences.
About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my experience, versatility, and special skills. Not only do I currently dog sit and house sit for three families on an as-needed basis, but I also bring a wealth of experience in handling dogs of all ages and needs. I’m skilled at training puppies, which includes basic obedience and socialization techniques. Additionally, I’m comfortable with senior dogs, providing them with extra care and attention to meet their specific health and mobility needs. My commitment to understanding each dog’s unique personality and routine ensures they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you're away. I currently work full-time in a community-based job where I have the flexibility to create my own schedule. I like to tailor my schedule around my needs for the week, with weekends being when I have the most availability. My current families prefer that I stay in their home, and I’m open to doing the same with other families as well When caring for pets in my client's home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions or routines the family has established. I ensure pets are fed on time, given fresh water, and get the appropriate amount of exercise and attention. I also monitor their health, administer any needed medications, and keep the environment safe and clean. If there are specific needs or requests for the pets, I prioritize those to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for in the absence of their owners
About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my deep understanding of dog behavior and my genuine passion for creating a safe, fun, and loving environment for every pup I care for. I don’t just “watch” dogs—I engage with them through structured play, enrichment activities, and tailored routines based on their needs and personalities. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom. I’m already used to maintaining a structured, nurturing environment, and that translates perfectly to caring for pets. I’m home throughout the day, so I can provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my focus is always on creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment.
About: I have taken care of pets in different moments throughout my years of life, but I have always had that soft spot for animals even though I’ve never had one of my own, so because of that, the responsibility that comes with taking care of one, I appreciate more each time I’m given the task to take care of a pet for somebody. I take lots of responsibility and care into everything I do. I currently am in a Medical Assisting program so this would help me so much to raise money! I am very passionate about taking care of others including pets. Please consider me when booking ! :) I am currently working a part-time job, so I have lots of time throughout the week to do animal sitting. I am available very early in the mornings before my school starts, and as well as after school, and on the weekends as needed. I personally have never had pets, but many of my family members and family friends do so with that I have helped feed my friends dogs, helped take them out on walks, and have helped play with them to keep their energy levels up. As well as cleaning any accidents.

About: I’ve been a dog owner since I was 9 years old, so caring for pets has been a lifelong part of who I am. I’m currently a proud mom to a 10-year-old furbaby, which gives me daily, hands-on experience with senior dog care, including understanding their slower pace, comfort needs, and health considerations. In addition to my personal experience, I have fostered senior and sick dogs through the East Bay SPCA in Oakland. This experience has helped me develop strong skills in providing compassionate, attentive care for pets with medical needs, mobility challenges, and special routines. I’m comfortable administering basic medications, monitoring changes in behavior or appetite, and creating a calm environment that supports healing and comfort. What sets me apart is my combination of lifelong pet ownership and real rescue/foster experience. I’m patient, observant, and deeply committed to making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and understood—whether they’re energetic puppies or fragile seniors needing extra care and attention. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I already maintain a structured, responsibility-focused schedule. Regarding cats, I did grow up as a cat owner and am comfortable caring for them. However, I developed allergies in adulthood, so I can only provide cat care if I take allergy medication in advance. I’m mindful of that and make sure I can fully commit to providing proper care and attention before accepting cat-related bookings. Overall, pet care is something I integrate into my routine with consistency, structure, and flexibility to meet each pet’s needs. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment by treating every pet as if they were my own and following any instructions provided by the owner very closely. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure the space is secure, clean, and free of hazards such as small objects, toxic foods, or anything a pet could accidentally ingest. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to help pets feel comfortable and reduce stress, especially in a new environment. I always monitor pets closely during care, whether they are eating, playing, or outside on walks, and I never leave them unattended in unsafe situations. Leashes are kept secure, doors and gates are double-checked, and I follow any special instructions regarding behavior, medications, or dietary needs. Communication is also a key part of trust—I provide regular updates, photos, and honest check-ins so owners feel confident their pet is safe and well cared for at all times. Overall, my goal is to create a stable, loving, and stress-free environment where pets feel secure and cared for while their owners are away.
About: Moved away from my 6 year old Shih Tzu, Scarlet (she's keeping my mom company) and missing dog companionship. I’ve owned dogs my entire life, previously fostered, and temporarily volunteered at a dog salon. Ready to take care of your pup. I’m patient, gentle & I focus on creating an environment where dogs feel comfortable and cared for. I work part-time so caring for pets fits naturally into my routine. I’m able to be present for walks and companionship without rushing. I like giving pets time to relax and feel comfortable, especially in new situations. I live in a clean, calm apartment with plenty of space for dogs to relax. My apartment has a dog park and I live directly across a park. Makes regular walks, fresh air, and structured outdoor time easy.
Village 11 pet parents share their Rover experiences
Rebecca was wonderful! She took good care of my senior cat ensuring that he has time to get out and sniff around, time for play and for petting! Rebecca is very dedicated, dependable. I also appreciated the pictures and messages that she sent, that reassured me that Rai is in good care! Thank you Rebecca!
From the very first visit, I knew my four cats were in the best hands. Anita has this incredible way of putting you at ease; she jumped right in, effortlessly managing their individual diets and medications. It was amazing to see my usually shy cats instantly warm up to her! The daily updates and photos were the highlight of my day, and her communication is top-notch. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely dedicated to providing such loving care. Anita is officially my go-to sitter!

Joyce was friendly and flexible to work with. She was able to meet with us in person before we confirmed the appointment. She took care of my two senior cats, which one of them require special treatment to her food and medicine. Joyce did a good job taking care of them.

Chelsea did a great job with my senior grumpy cat, lovable but obese furball, and latest addition young cat. I got daily updates and she even helped with a bit of vacuuming when the litter box got out of hand. Communication was great even though I was out of the country and there was an issue with the front door. She easily fixed it with minimal instructions from afar.

Sydney was fantastic. She really helped us out for a long stretch of drop in visits on short notice. She communicated quickly and took excellent care of our large (but friendly) dog. We were so happy to leave him in such good hands and will be reaching out to Sydney again for caring for our dog. Thank you Sydney!

James was helping me to take care of my cats, Blosom and Kristal. It was second time I hired James. He fed my cats and cleaned their litter boxes. He also cleaned the floor around litter boxes. He was doing that every day for 21 days. I will hire James again, or I will recommend him to everybody.
