I’ve also had the privilege of working at a doggy daycare/boarding business for several summers, where I absolutely loved caring for clients’ pets. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to sweet senior pups. Drawing from my diverse background as a mother, military veteran, and preschool teacher, I have built strong caregiving skills. In addition, in the past I have worked professionally as a veterinary technician for three years. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for over 50 years. I've cared for my own pets as well as regularly helped family and friends by watching their dogs, walking them, and making sure they were well cared for while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like part of the family. I am retiring and love working with dogs, so my schedule is very flexible. About: Hi! I’m a dependable and caring animal lover who has been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with a yellow lab, so I’m very familiar with the daily routines, energy, and love that dogs need. Since then, I’ve also spent a lot of time around friends’ and family members’ dogs, helping out with walks, playtime, feeding, and giving them attention. I work full-time as a nurse, but my schedule is only three days a week, which gives me four full days during the week and weekends to dedicate to pet care. On my days off, I have the time and flexibility to provide reliable walks, drop-ins, playtime, and lots of attention to make sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a townhome complex, so I believe the best setup is caring for dogs in their own familiar environment through drop-in visits or picking them up for walks throughout the day. This allows your dog to stay in their normal routine while getting safe, attentive, and loving care.

About: Ive taken care of different animals ever since i was younger, friends and family rely on me to keep their pet company during that time I currently work a part time job which gives me plenty of time to do a drop in visits or do a walk for how ever long it may take also gives me a lot of times to keep your pup company for being in other people’s homes I make sure I’m respectful of their things, make sure all doors and gates are closed for the pets safety, for dog walking I would just get the dogs leash and harness and take them for their walk and for drop in visits I would just do whatever I am needed to do!

“I reached out to more than eight dog walkers, and Stephanie was far and away the most reliable, punctual, communicative and considerate. She walked our dog Mia twice a day for an hour for two weeks straight (one weekend excepted, as she was at a wedding). On at least one occasion, she came early (with notice) to get the walk in before some rain, and on another, she heard popping sounds at the park (which scare my dog), and drove 15 minutes out of her way to another park. My mom, who worked with Stephanie for the pick ups and drop offs, can't say enough good things about her. We will definitely work with her again and likely be setting up weekly walks if she's available.”

It would be my pleasure to provide you with peace of mind about your pet’s welfare while you are at work or enjoying your vacation. I drive school bus in the morning and afternoon. I can drop in between bus runs to take your dog for a walk and perform a welfare check for your cats or large animals. I am available to stay with your pets while you’re on vacation, or we can arrange for me to stop in throughout the day instead. I can stay in your home to care for your pets while you’re on vacation. I can check on them, or walk them between my school bus runs Monday through Friday, and I have weekends off to be with them full time.

About: I work in animal rescue and have personally cared for over 1000 different animals! Not only am I able to do regular pet care, I can also administer many different types of medication and am confident with shy or nervous animals. I am self employed, so I have a flexible schedule when needed. I currently have Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays wide open. I also have afternoon availability Saturdays and Sundays. I can almost always squeeze in an evening visit. I cannot currently board animals in my home, as I’m at capacity with 5 cats, some of which are nervous around new animals. However, I am able to visit or stay in your home. I am polite, neat, and am more than happy to clean any potential pet messes!

About: I have taken care of dogs all my life. I have looked after dogs of all sizes. I thoroughly enjoy the presence of puppies and have had the pleasure of training puppies, caring for elder dogs, and everything in between Currently, I am conducting research at the University of Buffalo til the end of July. I am working a typical 9-5 but have all time around that flexible. I can work nights are even early in the morning as well, but lunch time check ins will be difficult for me. I am staying in a dormitory at the University of Buffalo so I will not be able to offer any services at my temporary residence, but I can offer dog walks, check ins, feedings, anything that can be done early in the morning or after 5 pm.

About: Hi, I am an avid animal lover and used to volunteer at animal friends. I dog and turtle sit for a family friend when their away and I also used to cat sit for a lady with several cats and watch my friends cats when she's away. When I pet sit, I'd go and give the animals clean water, play with them, give them food, for cats change their litters, for turtles let them walk around outside their cage for enrichment for dogs I either let them out in the backyard or take them on walks. I am a firm believer in staying and giving as much of my attention to all animals for as long as possible and treating them as if they were my own pets. Pay rate is flexible.
