About: Although we’re new to Rover, we’ve owned dogs our whole lives and understand that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, others just want someone nearby while they nap. Our family (including our two daughters) are all dog lovers, so visiting dogs become part of the family while they’re here. I (Keith) work from home several days each week, so pet care fits naturally into my schedule. Morning walks, yard time, potty breaks, meals, and playtime are already part of my day with my own dog, so adding another four-legged friend feels pretty normal. My wife (Leigh) is home in the evenings and on the weekends so we both get to give our dog and visiting dogs a lot of attention and love. We keep our availability realistic so every dog gets the time and attention they deserve. We have a fully fenced backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood that’s great for walks. Our own dog is friendly, but we don’t assume every dog wants an instant playmate, so introductions are always slow and supervised. If your dog needs their own space, that’s not a problem. We’ll follow your feeding schedule, medications, and any instructions you leave so their stay is as close to home as possible.

About: I’ve always loved animals, but my appreciation for cats really grew during college when many of my friends had cats of their own. Spending time around so many different personalities made me love how unique, playful, and comforting cats can be. About: I’ve taken care of pets for friends and family since I was a kid. I love all animals, especially dogs and cats. I can’t walk past a dog on the street without asking politely to pet them! Two years ago I rescued my dog, Stanley, who is a 24 lb terrier mix. He was abused and took a very long time to warm up, but after a lot of patience and love he’s now thriving and the best boy. I learned a lot with Stanley and feel equipped to work with shyer dogs. Stanley also likes hanging out with other dogs and would enjoy some company around the house! BOARDING NOTE: for the safety of my dog, your dog, and my home, I only accept boarding requests for dogs that are crate trained. Thank you for understanding! I currently work from home full time, so my availability is flexible. Stanley and I would be happy to have you hang out with us at my place (I’d recommend a meet and greet first). I live close to a nature trail that I take Stanley on daily, and we’re very familiar with the neighborhood. I can take frequent walk breaks and crate your pet.
About: I’ve owned, trained, and taken care of dogs for 26 years. I’ve had a Dachshund, Beagles, Rottweiler, and have fostered - and trained - a German Shepard, two Pit bulls, Husky, and currently a Penkingese. The German Shepard came to me from a friend who was rescuing him but couldn’t train him properly so I spent almost 2 months with him - trained him how to walk properly on a leash, stop nipping, and to become a follower rather then a pack leader. I then returned him to my friend (who I can give contact info so you can ask directly) who still has him to this day. My Rottweiler was the first dog that I had living on my own and within a month she was potty and crate trained, I trained her to walk properly OFF the leash, and even trained her to only sit in one specific spot in the car (passenger side backseat). She unfortunately passed away before my kids were born and it wasn’t fair to adopt dogs with the zero free time babies give you. My kids are now older and since I work from home, I’m excited to have dogs back around. Everyone (including dogs) that enters my home is treated like family. I’m a very hands on parent and that translates to all levels of care - whether it’s a pet or kid. I personally walk twice a day (typically by myself) so your dogs will be engaged and exercised. If you have any questions, feel free to ask - I’m very big on transparency. I work full time from home but own my own business. Due to this, I don’t have a fixed schedule or designated breaks or lunches, I can start and stop whenever I want or need to. Your dogs will never be interrupting or waiting on me for whatever they might need. I have a home with a good sized yard. Since I’m home 99.9% of the time, there really is no need to crate (unless for whatever reason you require that for sleeping or some other situation). They can sleep with me and sit on furniture (again unless you don’t want that due to the rules in your home and those rules will be followed and respected here). I’m home throughout the entire day as I work from home. He/she will be engaged & never alone while here. We also have a young dog who is sweet with all. We have long leashes and a fairly private yard, are frequently outside and would never leave them unattended. We treat all those who enter just as family.

I enjoy the photo updates, I am happy that Peach feels safe and I feel comforted while she is in Christy's care, and that Christy allows the dogs on the furniture-Peach even got to sleep in bed when she stayed. “I reached out to more than eight dog walkers, and Stephanie was far and away the most reliable, punctual, communicative and considerate. She walked our dog Mia twice a day for an hour for two weeks straight (one weekend excepted, as she was at a wedding). On at least one occasion, she came early (with notice) to get the walk in before some rain, and on another, she heard popping sounds at the park (which scare my dog), and drove 15 minutes out of her way to another park. My mom, who worked with Stephanie for the pick ups and drop offs, can't say enough good things about her. About: I have shared my life with many dogs, cats, and horses. I’ve have never not had a dog in my home. I understand personally the cherished place pets occupy in the hearts of their families. I can drop in between bus runs to take your dog for a walk and perform a welfare check for your cats or large animals. I am available to stay with your pets while you’re on vacation, or we can arrange for me to stop in throughout the day instead. I can stay in your home to care for your pets while you’re on vacation. I can check on them, or walk them between my school bus runs Monday through Friday, and I have weekends off to be with them full time.
About: Greetings. I've had pets most of my life and recently have taken care of many dogs during COVID on a long and short term basis. The longest stay I had was 2 months while the owner went to India. I recently moved to Pittsburgh (Mt Washington) from the Netherlands so I'm happy to have a pet to 🐶 hang out with while I'm learning the area. I work full time, however it's remote from home and I set my own break schedule. So I'll have plenty of spare time to walk, groom and play with the 🐕 I'm in a condo that allows pets and am on the ground floor so it's easy to take multiple breaks for a walk or run. Medicine wise, I have given pills and insulin injections to animals I have watched and not got scratched.
About: Hi, I am an avid animal lover and used to volunteer at animal friends. I dog and turtle sit for a family friend when their away and I also used to cat sit for a lady with several cats and watch my friends cats when she's away. When I pet sit, I'd go and give the animals clean water, play with them, give them food, for cats change their litters, for turtles let them walk around outside their cage for enrichment for dogs I either let them out in the backyard or take them on walks. I am a firm believer in staying and giving as much of my attention to all animals for as long as possible and treating them as if they were my own pets. Pay rate is flexible. About: Although we’re new to Rover, we’ve owned dogs our whole lives and understand that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, others just want someone nearby while they nap. Our family (including our two daughters) are all dog lovers, so visiting dogs become part of the family while they’re here. We’re happy to adjust to whatever helps your dog feel comfortable and stick to the routine they’re used to. I (Keith) work from home several days each week, so pet care fits naturally into my schedule. Morning walks, yard time, potty breaks, meals, and playtime are already part of my day with my own dog, so adding another four-legged friend feels pretty normal. My wife (Leigh) is home in the evenings and on the weekends so we both get to give our dog and visiting dogs a lot of attention and love. We keep our availability realistic so every dog gets the time and attention they deserve. We have a fully fenced backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood that’s great for walks. Our own dog is friendly, but we don’t assume every dog wants an instant playmate, so introductions are always slow and supervised. If your dog needs their own space, that’s not a problem. We’ll follow your feeding schedule, medications, and any instructions you leave so their stay is as close to home as possible.
