My chinchillas took to her immediately. Gus, our fiestiest boy, happily accepted cheek scritches from her and another one of my chins even let her pick him up :) That says a lot about how she interacts with animals because as prey animals, trust doesn’t come easily to chinchillas. She also asked a lot of important questions about their care which I appreciated. She was super responsive and flexible about when I came to pick up my key from her. About: Hi! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have cared for all kinds of pets over the years. Growing up, my family always had dogs, so I learned early on how to handle everything from playful puppies to senior dogs who needed a little extra attention. As an adult, I’ve personally owned small caged pets and currently own 2 cats, giving me a well-rounded understanding of different animal personalities and care needs. I currently share my home with two adopted cats, each with their own unique story and background. With patience and care, I was able to successfully introduce them to each other despite their age difference and differing temperaments—it was so rewarding and relieving to see them become friends! I understand that every pet is unique and deserves compassionate, individualized care, and I treat every animal I meet like one of my own. I currently work a full time job with the military during the week, but am home early in the afternoon to provide care, comfort, and cuddles to my furry friends and yours! I have a spacious apartment with lots of toys and 2 friendly cats to keep tour furry friend company. Walking around my neighborhood is a breeze with pet pickup spots along the way and a safe environment for walks no matter what time.
