“This was my first time using Rover & first time using someone that was family/friends to watch Elli. Couldn’t have asked for a better choice than Nia! She was exactly on time with each visit and sent the best pics. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Victoria was great with our two cats! She was very communicative and gave great, thorough updates, followed all instructions, and we came back to happy, healthy kitties. Will definitely rebook drop ins with Victoria in the future!”

“Emily was great and took excellent care of my two cats while I was away! They were very communicative throughout the entire time and they followed all of my instructions exactly as requested. I really appreciated their reliability and attention to detail. I would definitely trust them again in the future.”

“Jenny was great! Our cat is usually distressed and extra needy when we get back home, but he was actually pretty chill this time since Jenny gave him enough love and treats. She also went above and beyond with helping with a small house issue we had while we were away.”

“Kathryn was absolutely amazing! She gave me very detailed updates of what she did during the visit and took the cutest pictures of my cat! It was such a relief to find such and caring and kind cat sitter. I will definitely be booking Kathryn again!”

“Grateful to Tabitha for taking care of Luna and Oliver while we were out of town! Luna was happy for the company and both cats were well taken care of during the visit.”

“Although I ended up having to cancel my trip so Ashley/Olivia didn’t end up doing the drop in visits, Olivia was great at the drop-in visit I scheduled before our trip! My chinchillas took to her immediately. Gus, our fiestiest boy, happily accepted cheek scritches from her and another one of my chins even let her pick him up :) That says a lot about how she interacts with animals because as prey animals, trust doesn’t come easily to chinchillas. She also asked a lot of important questions about their care which I appreciated. She was super responsive and flexible about when I came to pick up my key from her. I would feel at ease with her taking care of my pets the next time I need care for them!”

“This was my first time using rover and I was very nervous leaving my Chloe with a stranger but Lorena was a fabulous sitter. She communicated with me and asked questions to learn more about Chloe’s personality. I would definitely use her again.”

About: My husband and I truly treat pets like family. We’ve cared for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior pets, and I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I’ve taken pet training classes and have hands-on experience reinforcing basic commands and good behaviors. If you’re working on training, I’m happy to help keep things consistent while your pup is with me. I also provide enrichment activities like snuffle mats, puzzle toys, and interactive play to keep dogs mentally stimulated and happy, not just tired. I work from home full-time, so your pet won’t be alone much during the day. I’m able to give regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m also flexible and happy to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. Since I’m home most of the time, I can keep a close eye on how they’re doing and quickly notice if anything seems off. They’ll get lots of company, care, and cuddles while they’re here. Your pet’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely and try to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel secure and relaxed. My home is clean and pet-friendly, with space to play and relax. I use positive reinforcement, patience, and lots of affection. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or visiting yours, I treat them like they’re my own.
“Claudia is a kind and trustworthy person, and you can tell she truly has a soft spot for the animals she works with. She was communicative and timely. She sent many pictures and we could see that even our shy kitten was happy to have her close. Thank you to Claudia for helping us with our holiday trip!”

About: Hi! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have cared for all kinds of pets over the years. Growing up, my family always had dogs, so I learned early on how to handle everything from playful puppies to senior dogs who needed a little extra attention. As an adult, I’ve personally owned small caged pets and currently own 2 cats, giving me a well-rounded understanding of different animal personalities and care needs. I currently share my home with two adopted cats, each with their own unique story and background. With patience and care, I was able to successfully introduce them to each other despite their age difference and differing temperaments—it was so rewarding and relieving to see them become friends! I understand that every pet is unique and deserves compassionate, individualized care, and I treat every animal I meet like one of my own. I currently work a full time job with the military during the week, but am home early in the afternoon to provide care, comfort, and cuddles to my furry friends and yours! I have a spacious apartment with lots of toys and 2 friendly cats to keep tour furry friend company. Walking around my neighborhood is a breeze with pet pickup spots along the way and a safe environment for walks no matter what time.
“Kaitlin did a phenomenal job with our furry ones. Great communication, did everything the way asked and even did little things to make sure we knew everything was being taken care of. From the check in photos to seeing how our doggos were treating her we knew she was taking wonderful care of them. 100% recommended and will definitely come back to her the next time we might need anything.”

About: From being a dog walker at 13, to being in the medical geriatric field at 18, to now being a personal nanny for 2 children and their dog… I can truly say helping anyone I can is my calling. I’m currently working as a private nanny, but only needed when the kids are home from school. Therefore, I’m available any weekday (Except Tuesday) from 9:30am-3:30pm and, if needed, I’ll be free at 8pm. Saturdays I’m free all day, Sundays are my days off. I personally have a mini zoo in my house, but I always give my unconditional love and respect to all equally. Whether it’s taking the time to train, clean, groom, feed, walk, etc. I could never get enough of anyone’s fur babies (and/or maybe furless babies).

Dorsey cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kelly was an absolutely wonderful cat sitter for Luna and Oliver. She was very proactive in her communication and provided detailed updates on how the two were doing, which gave us peace of mind during our travels given Luna’s regular health issues. The cats were clearly very comfortable with Kelly and we greatly appreciated the care and attention she gave to them to ensure they were happy and well-taken care of. She even went the extra mile to help us out during an unexpected incident, which was a huge lifesaver for us. We highly recommend Kelly if you are looking for a sitter who truly cares about your pets and wants to give them the best experience when you’re away!

Madison got along very well with our two cats when we were out for the weekend! They followed all of our instructions to the letter and did extra work to make sure our cats were happy and our home was just the way we left it. She was attentive to the specific emotional needs of each cat. I would highly recommend them for pet sitting.

Catherine was amazing with our shy cat Mila. She checked on her and listened to everything we asked. She also sent the cutest pictures and it was great to see Mila happy and comfortable while we were away. I absolutely recommend Catherine and will be using her again in the future!
