I work from home Mondays-Fridays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. I have my own dog at home that I take care of during the day, but I fit Rover clients in where I can.

Safety, trust & environment
I never leave dogs unattended while they are eating, just in case they choke (snacks or meals!). I make sure to put food and snacks away before leaving, so the pets can’t reach them. I make sure pets are comfortable with me before I approach them because I know every dog comes from a different background.
Information Jenny K. would like to know about your pet
Allergies, specific care information, health concerns, feeding/walking habits. I would like to know if there are any specific things I should look out for when caring for the pet.
A typical day
Normally, I would walk dogs for at least half a mile around the neighborhood. I usually let the dogs do the exploring, but maintain a firm grip on their leashes in case there are any people or animals they don’t get along with. I also play with the pets with toys in the home or the yard, if there is one. I also enjoy lazing around with them when they're all tuckered out.

Pet care experience
**NOTE: I am not currently accepting weekly visits/walks** Hello! I am a Health Policy Analyst at the Maryland Department of Health with experience as an ER Nurse Support Tech and Pharmacy Tech. My family dog is a 12-year-old Chiweenie (chihuahua and dachshund mix) we rescued in 2015. I lived with her until 2020. My boyfriend and I have a German Shepherd mix that we rescued in November 2024. I have been walking and caring for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs since 2010. From feeding to walking to showering to medicating to playing, I can do it all. If you have any extra needs for your pets, I am a fast learner and more than willing to do whatever your fur baby needs. I am not afraid to clean up pee or poop if needed. At all my jobs, I’ve seen worse, I promise. I am confident that you will be satisfied with my care of your fur child. Thank you!

Jenny did a wonderful job with our 2 cats and gecko. She fed and played with them, ensured the safety of our critters, and left a clean home for us to come back to.
