About: I provide a loving, reliable and stress-free environment for pets of all sizes, with years of hands on experience! I’m flexible, friendly and ready to meet all of your animals! I currently work full-time, Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM, but I love spending my free time caring for animals! I offer pet care before and after work, on weekends, and I’m happy to provide lunch-time drop-in visits for pets in the Waynesboro area. Dogs, cats, reptiles, and other small pets are all welcome!! 🐦🦎🐶🐱 I’d love the opportunity to help care for your furry, feathered, or scaly family members🖤🙌🏻 I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and comfortable, even when their family is away! I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so I can provide care that’s as familiar as possible😊 I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, enrichment, fresh food/water, and any medications or special care they may need. I’ll treat your home with the same respect I would my own and keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your furry, feathered, or scaly family member is in caring hands🥰🐾
“Destiny took wonderful care of Danny and Ella! She was responsible, reliable, attentive, and very caring. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such good hands. She communicated well, followed all instructions, and treated them with so much kindness. I would absolutely trust Destiny to care for them again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and thoughtful!”

About: I’ve had experience with many types of animals since I could remember, which could be around 13-14 years. Our family is very animal oriented and it has been for a few generations. My great grandma raised, trained, and did dog shows with many different types of dogs. My grandma has always had animals as well as my mom. This ranges between birds, bunnies/rabbits, snakes, lizards/bearded dragons, birds, dogs, and cats. We almost like them more than people :) Pet care fits into my daily routine including every other weekend for my California king snake and bugs every other day with daily greens/fruits for the bearded dragon. 3 meals a day for the dogs, clean water for all animals, and the cats free feed expect some wet food. I can care for your pets in different ways including, of course, breakfast lunch or dinner, potty time outside on leash or back/front yard, and attention. I can also offer baths, and medication to certain animals if needed.

About: Hello! I’m Emma, a recent college graduate who’s been missing having animals in my life now that I’ve finished school. I’m not quite ready to adopt again just yet, so I’d love the opportunity to give your pets some extra love and attention! I’ve loved animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I’m responsible, communicative, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My Experience I cared for my own dog, Kirby, for 12 years, taking care of his daily walks, meals, playtime, and everything else that came with being a pet parent. He passed away in 2024, and caring for other people’s pets has been a wonderful way for me to keep animals in my life. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve spent over 5 years caring for dogs and cats for friends, family, and clients. I have experience with pets of many different breeds, sizes, and ages, including pets with additional medical or daily-care needs. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and instructions closely so they can feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I also have experience helping with feral cats through TNR, socialization, finding foster homes, and coordinating medical care. I’m the kind of person who carries pet treats when I travel because I can’t resist saying hello to an animal I meet along the way! I’d love the chance to meet you and your pet and give them the same patience, attention, and affection I would give my own. I’m a fast communicator, respectful of your home, and always do my best to leave things even cleaner than I found them. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! I typically book weekend only clients due to my work schedule in mental health treatment! However I enjoy spending my weekends with a furry friend as we sit outside or play together! I always ensure quality care for my clients pets and treat them as if they were my own! All in-home clients pets are treated with a high level of care and responsibility.
About: Hello! My name is Ellie S. I am 29 year sales and marketing professional who enjoys house sitting and dog walking on the side to keep life interesting. I work from home full time which means I have a flexible schedule that allows me to have greater availability. I grew up with pets from the time I was 4 years old- I can't remember a time before we had dogs. I currently own one pit bull/husky mix who I’ve raised from 8 weeks old. I have provided pet care for several families. The dogs I have cared for have ranged in size from small lap dog to medium sized lab. This care has ranged from short stays during the day to overnight stays for a weekend. I have experience walking, feeding, watering, giving oral medication, and any other general care needs. I work full time but it’s completely from home, so I have a lot of flexibility for both house sitting and for drop in visits! I only do care at clients homes as my place is a rental and doesn’t allow for any pets on the premises that aren’t on the lease. Depending on needs I am comfortable having dogs loose in the house with me, I can crate as needed, I can manage keeping certain pets separate from others if needed, and am happy to follow any instructions specific to the pets and property!

About: I have taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes for as long as I can remember. I have a large black lab of my own so I’m used to handling big dogs. I have watched dogs of all breeds from great Danes to mini toy poodles. I’m a grad student looking for a way to make a little extra money by taking great care of some pups. I’m currently in graduate school but have large gaps between classes where I can take your pup on brief walks, feed, and play with them throughout the day! In the mornings or afternoon once my classes are over I can take the dogs on longer walks and spend a little bit more time with them! At this time I do not provide care in my home but I’m willing to drop by at any hour to help keep your pup company! I am a lover of all animals! At school I’m missing my dog so I would love your fur baby as my own!
About: I’ve taken care of animals starting with my neighbor who relied on me for care taking, to my aunt who has her own dog business! I also have furbabies of my own which I care for; two dogs and one cat. As of right now usually am free after 6. Moving forward my schedule should be more open. Just shoot a text and see if we can figure something out 😊 In my home my dogs are leashed and we go for walks around the neighborhood. My cat stays indoors, but we enjoy playing and cuddling— she’s old. My doggies and I get out of the house sometimes and love to go on rides to the park
About: First of all, my name is Toni. Rover will only accept legally changed names, and I haven’t gotten there yet. But I’m Toni M. and I started getting involved with pet care because of my mental illness and autism. The stress of life was lowering my ability to function and every job I tried seemed to make it all worse. Enter: Dogs. I decided if I was going to make it I needed to be doing something that gave instead of took from me. Animals have helped bring me back to life in the dark. I’ve worked with puppies and older dogs. I’ve spent significant time with dogs with anxiety issues as well. I tend to connect with dogs who need a little extra love the most anyway. I do have a job but I’m available for boarding if pet is crate trained. When a pet stays with me we have a routine. Coffee (for me), breakfast, walk. And in the evenings we eat, play, have downtime. I guarantee an hour of exercise a day for your pet as well. My yard is fenced so no chance of escape. I like to play outside with the animals twice a day. Water bowel is always filled and animals are always welcome on my furniture. They’re free to make themselves at home.
“Thank you much for your services, Mary!!? For going above and beyond what was asked!!! Hopefully you will not mind taking care of Jordi!!!!? He was a handful but he was also in great hands!!!! Thanks again!!!!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
