About: I am currently a college student studying zoo and wildlife biology, and I hope to have a career in either wildlife rehabilitation or working at a zoo. I have a good amount of experience with animals; I have been around animals my whole life, my grandfather was a veterinarian, and I have been pet sitting since high school. I also worked as a kennel attendant at Augusta Valley Animal Hospital. I currently volunteer at the Humane Society and have at the SPCA as well, walking dogs and performing other tasks. I am hoping to do some pet care over the summer to earn some money and get some more experience. I will be doing an internship 3 times a week, so I am only available 4 days a week. I live a little bit out in the country, so we have some land and a private and safe road for walks. There is very little traffic, so it is a peaceful area. I have not yet hosted a client's pet in my home, but I have a lot of experience and can follow detailed instructions for your pet to provide them with the best care.

About: I've been a caretaker to many animals great and small from horses and alpacas to cats and rats. Any animal is welcome in my care. I truly want the best for every sweet soul and a key to that is regular exercise and freedom. I am currently working part-time at a horse farm and am looking for more animal time in between my shifts any day of the week. I have 2 short shifts, one in the morning that ends around 9:30 and another shift at 4 that is also quite short. There is a great chunk of time to fill. My pup and I have an abundance of toys and a little dog park only 5 minutes away! We have a quarter mile walk that I loop with my dog on the daily and he loves his time outside smelling and exploring around our community.

About: I’ve had experience with many types of animals since I could remember, which could be around 13-14 years. Our family is very animal oriented and it has been for a few generations. My great grandma raised, trained, and did dog shows with many different types of dogs. My grandma has always had animals as well as my mom. We almost like them more than people :) Pet care fits into my daily routine including every other weekend for my California king snake and bugs every other day with daily greens/fruits for the bearded dragon. 3 meals a day for the dogs, clean water for all animals, and the cats free feed expect some wet food. I can care for your pets in different ways including, of course, breakfast lunch or dinner, potty time outside on leash or back/front yard, and attention. I can also offer baths, and medication to certain animals if needed.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. I love dogs and cats. I love animals and have no problem spending my free time taking care of and playing with some fur babies. I have a pug that I've had since she was 6 weeks old. I also have a cat who I took in after his old owner abandoned him. I currently work full time Monday-Friday 8-5pm in Charlottesville. I am more than happy to stop by after work if needed or if you want me to stay at your place I can take care of the babies before heading to work to make sure they are fed and worked. In the summer my pug is sensitive to heat so we do short walks around our driveway. My cat is both indoors and outdoors so he goes to the bathroom outside but also have a litter box inside I clean every few days for him.

About: My family has had pets all my life, and I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 13. I have experience with pets with special health needs as well as those with busy grooming schedules. I adore both cats and dogs and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I’m a grad student from Virginia with a love for animals! Most of my classes finish in the afternoon, so I have plenty of time for your fur babies! I am confident and comfortable with both dogs and cats, and am more than happy to follow any special instructions you need me to. I can easily crate your pets as well give them medicine and stick to feeding schedules. I also love to spend time with your pets outside by going on walks and playing in the yard.
About: I have taken care of many of my friends pets, both dogs and cats and when I didn't have a pet of my own, would often borrow one! They make life so much better! Two of my references can give you first hand information about how much I loved and cared for their dogs. I work a 40 hour week in Waynesboro and depending on location of the pet, can do drop in visits before and after work and sometimes during the day (if local). I can come to your home or your dog can come to mine. I am not opposed to overnight stays. Your pet will be treated as if my own and with as much love and care as they can handle! They are more than pets, they are family!

I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
