“Sophia was excellent!! Starting with the meet and greet, she was an absolute pleasure to work with! She sent detailed and regular updates, including letting us know about anything out of the ordinary. She administered medications as needed and was very understanding of my dog’s anxiety. “Jani and Paul took amazing care of Kona! We hate to leave her, however I could tell she was being totally spoiled with love from the daily photos and updates. Kona is quite active, so they took her on daily walks and played ball with her in their yard. Kona enjoyed watching the squirrels in their backyard and was made to feel totally at home. I would not hesitate to recommend Jani and we already have another visit booked for Kona.”

“Deb and Ralph are amazing! They welcomed my boys with open arms and spent quality time with them. This was the first time my boys were away from home while I was away and it looked like they had a great time.”

We can’t recommend Joe and Lilibet enough! Book now!”

“We were nervous leaving our 6-month-old puppy for the first time, but Cory made it a wonderful experience for us and our pup. Cory was easy to communicate with; he provided lots of photos and updates when we were gone and Riley seemed very happy and content when we went to pick her up. We would definitely like to have Cory watch Riley again.”

“Jesse and Emily were absolutely amazing. They took such great care of our sweet boy and sent lots of updates. Our dog unfortunately had a medical event (he has known epilepsy) during his stay and they handled it incredibly. They were so communicative and loving and went above and beyond to make sure he was okay. We could not be more grateful to have had them watching our dog while we were away.”

“Margaret was wonderful! She took great care of my senior girl and gave her the love and attention she needed while I was away. She was easy to communicate with and provided pictures. I’d definitely book with Margaret again the next time I’m in the area!”

“Riley is simply the best dog sitter you can search for. She is conscientious, organized, responsive, and she loves dogs. Her way with dogs is special; she paid attention to our dog for the week we booked, and the entire time we were away, we were at ease knowing our dog was cared for like family. It is without reservation that we give the highest rating for Riley - again, simply the best!”

“This was our second time leaving the pups with Tiffanie, she is fantastic! She is great with sending photos and keeping us up to date on their activities and adventures.”

“Paula was a lifesaver! We were anxious about leaving our 7mo puppy for our 9 day vacation. Paula was so responsive (tolerating my anxiety), sending photos and videos. Our boy was clearly well cared for and somehow came back a better listener! He was in constant company and I think he had a great time.”

“Aly was fantastic! My 11-year-old cockapoo Mittens was comfortable with her from the very beginning. She wagged her tail and made herself right at home. Aly kept up informed with adorable pictures, and we would be happy to board Mittens with her again. I'm sure Mittens would love it too!”

“Brandy always takes good care of our doggie and sends lots of pictures while we're away. He's always happy when we get to her house so she's doing something right! 😁 She is quick to respond to questions and very flexible with drop off and pick up. Great sitter!”

“Danielle and her crew were great! She was very responsive to my messages and was able to watch my doggo on very short notice. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in her care. If you're ever in Harrisonburg, choose her!”

She was a blessing to our family and we will definitely hire her again in the future!!”

About: Cats are by far my biggest soft spot. I have experience caring for cats of all ages, from kittens to seniors who need extra patience and gentle care. I’ve also done positive reinforcement training with cats, including harness and obedience training with my own ragdoll. I know every cat is different, whether they want lots of playtime, quiet company, or just a little patience before they warm up. I always take the time to learn each cat’s routine and personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Im always opening to training as well.

About: I’ve taken care of animals starting with my neighbor who relied on me for care taking, to my aunt who has her own dog business! I also have furbabies of my own which I care for; two dogs and one cat. As of right now usually am free after 6. Moving forward my schedule should be more open. Just shoot a text and see if we can figure something out 😊 In my home my dogs are leashed and we go for walks around the neighborhood. My cat stays indoors, but we enjoy playing and cuddling— she’s old. My doggies and I get out of the house sometimes and love to go on rides to the park

About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide maximum companionship and plenty of exercise. Boarders or daycare get 2-3 walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) feel free to bring your pet’s crate if you’d like! I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. One of my rescues was a very sick 3-month old puppy that I raised, so I am well-versed with puppy care. I do not currently have pets living in the home, so your dogs will have the run of the place! I own my own home on a quiet circle street. My yard is an expansive quarter acre of grass with access to miles of mowed walking paths off my backyard. When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on a “Welcome Walk” to get acquainted in neutral outdoor space. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I look forward to taking care of your wonderful pets! I work from home, so I am flexible for drop-ins, last-minute needs, or regular walks, and can give your dog consistent companionship…and some fun of course! Rain or shine, I am happy to take them out. I provide a treats (if allowed), a dog bed, bowls, toys and backup leash (but I prefer you bring the leash your dog is familiar with!). Please feel free to bring a crate if you’d like to crate your dog! When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on “Welcome Walk” where we get acquainted in the great outdoors. This allows me to build our bond in neutral space with plenty of positive stimulation for the dogs. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I have used the clicker training method in the past, and do not believe in any form of domineering or physical correction. Your dog will have a stable experience here!
“Came from out of town for a wedding and found out last minute that our dog could not attend. Cory responded immediately to our last minute request for doggy day care. If not for Cory we would have missed the wedding. He was very friendly and took wonderful care of our Harley, who is very high energy. Cory put my nerves at ease with updates and pics throughout the day. I highly recommend Cory for your pet care needs. Thank you again Cory!”

“Sue is great with Amos. She is also fast to respond when asked a question and to scheduling requests. We were nervous leaving Amos in someone else’s care, Sue quickly put us at ease and Amos enjoyed his first daycare with her!”

“We were so excited to have Jack with Arie and Leigh as one of our first tries with day care as they are so experienced with dogs in general but especially labs. All went very well, great communication and what a wonderful family and property for Jack to play and even had a furry friend! Will plan to use them again and very much recommend.”

“Our little terrier, Maxine, is always well taken care of at Amy’s. Amy goes out of her way to ensure each dogs safety and tends to their individual needs. We know that Maxine is happy and well taken care of whenever she is with Amy and her fur babies.”

“We truly appreciate Brandy! We booked very last minute with brandy. Being on vacation we brought our epileptic pup and he wasn’t coping well in a new place being alone. So we downloaded this app for the first time and booked with her while we went out. She responded when I checked on him, and sent me pictures of him while he was with her. We are even booked an extra day with her while we were here because he did so well in her care! Thank you Brandy !!”

About: I’ve had a dog my entire life except for a few very lonely months in 2020 after I lost the love of my life, Romey, the naughtiest lab with the best sense of humor. I grew up with labs (mostly ) but now have Gizmo, a labrodoodle , who will soon become BDE (best dog ever) if he can finally learn how to not jump like a kangaroo when he sees his dog friends. I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was young. I’d walk, feed and love on my neighbors and friends pets. I hope I will be the one you call and who you can trust with your furry BFF. Whether you have a long day at work or a weekend vacation, I’ll be there for you! I work part time on the weekends up on the mountain and have lots of time during the week to help out with your dog! I have a fenced in play area in my back yard and crates, dog beds and a designated “dog room” where your pet can relax in solitude or with Gizmo!
“Svitlana did great with Otto's nervous mom (me). She sent plenty of photos, updates, and reassurance. Otto felt comfortable at the house during his doggie daycare stay. He was relaxed enough to eat, sleep, and play. I rarely have anyone watch Otto, but we'll return if Svitlana is available when needed in the future.”

About: Hello! My name is Ellie S. I am 29 year sales and marketing professional who enjoys house sitting and dog walking on the side to keep life interesting. I work from home full time which means I have a flexible schedule that allows me to have greater availability. I grew up with pets from the time I was 4 years old- I can't remember a time before we had dogs. I currently own one pit bull/husky mix who I’ve raised from 8 weeks old. I have provided pet care for several families. The dogs I have cared for have ranged in size from small lap dog to medium sized lab. This care has ranged from short stays during the day to overnight stays for a weekend. I have experience walking, feeding, watering, giving oral medication, and any other general care needs. I work full time but it’s completely from home, so I have a lot of flexibility for both house sitting and for drop in visits! I only do care at clients homes as my place is a rental and doesn’t allow for any pets on the premises that aren’t on the lease. Depending on needs I am comfortable having dogs loose in the house with me, I can crate as needed, I can manage keeping certain pets separate from others if needed, and am happy to follow any instructions specific to the pets and property!

By feeding, walks, and playtime—with my personal habits like breakfast, exercise, and evening relaxation it helps to create a consistent, healthy routine. My successful routine with my 12 year old senior terrier includes early morning engagement to set a positive tone, scheduled midday breaks or mental stimulation to combat boredom, and structured evening bonding that eases stress. I have a 12 year old friendly Emotional support animal named Flower, who still loves to run and play. I also live close to the park, and have a crate if needed.

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and have cared for/owned all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to snakes and ferrets. I currently have several senior pets of my own, so I know how important gentle, patient care is, especially for older animals. I also have experience with positive reinforcement training and love keeping pets active, whether that means playtime, walks, or a good run for dogs with extra energy. My goal is always to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m currently taking online summer courses in aerospace engineering and art, which gives me a flexible schedule and lots of time throughout the day to spend with the pets I care for. I just recently moved to the STL for inspiration and a change of scenery. Since most of my own pets are still back home for the time being, I have plenty of extra love, attention, and playtime to give to yours. I stay on top of feeding, fresh water, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any other daily needs, and I always try to give pets plenty of attention so they’re not just being “checked on.” I’m comfortable adjusting to different personalities and energy levels, whether that means playing with a high-energy dog, giving a shy cat space to warm up, or being extra gentle with a senior pet.

“Amy was so great with our girls!!! This was our first time leaving them for vacation and using Rover. My girls were so comfortable and loved every minute of their own vacation!!! Highly recommend!!”

“Brianne was amazing with my pup, Baci. She was quick to communicate, so kind, very flexible, and I picked up a happy dog. I highly recommend Brianne. This is one of my first dog sitting experiences and I’ll definitely be reaching out to her in the future!”

“Sean and Alyssa always take the best care of Banjo! They send me pictures and videos throughout his stay, and I can tell that he has so much fun with them. They take him on walks everyday, to the dog park to play, and they even make treats for him. When I pick him up he is happy and content, and I know that he’s had a great stay. You can tell they are so intentional with the care they provide, I highly reccomend Sean and Alyssa when you need someone safe and reliable to watch your pup!!”

“Ruby was excited and enjoyed staying with Madison. She did not appear to be at all anxious when we dropped her off, or when we picked her up. Often Ruby is initially uncomfortable and worried during her first stay, but that was not the case. We will definitely schedule her stay with Madison in the future!”

“Erin took such great care of Honey. Friendly family. Accepting and fun furries of her own that might just turn into best 4-legged friends. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you Erin!”

“Nadia is amazing! She automatically made me feel comfortable with her knowledge of animals and her presence. Normally I would be worried to leave my dog to go out of the country, but Nadia made it such an easy and pleasant experience. She sent pictures and updates everyday. She respected all of the care instructions I left and made sure Moose was well taken care of. She and her husband treated him like family and made him feel welcome and spoiled with love, which I so appreciated. She truly is one of a kind and Moose really enjoyed his stay with her. I will definitely be booking with her again for future trips and highly recommend her to anyone!”
